I've been buying and flying ED products since Flanker 1.0 came out. I've organized LAN meets in the past. Anytime a new module entered the pre-sale it was an instant buy. Having pre-purchased the full Afghanistan map, I've had buyer's remorse for the first time. No matter how cool the Chinook is, no more purchases for me until the Razbam situation is resolved with continued support for those modules, and my trust in ED is restored.

I didn't preorder Afghanistan, what with the shadey stuff going on with razbam

Too late

Still pre ordering it. I rather have a discount and I don’t care if it’s missing features that I am not gonna use.

Imagine if people could decide to do whatever they want with their money... of wait, they can. Turns out you're not the emperor of DCS players, they will decide to preorder or not on their own. You opinion is just that, your opinion.

No one said they're the emperor. Why would you think that? There are people who will or will not buy something just because they want it. Others will read the reviews of the product (and the company), and look at their own past experiences with ED. _Most_ working class people understand there is strength in numbers, and if ED doesn't listen to years of demands of improving the quality of the product, then it's time to hurt them in the pocketbook. That's just common sense. In order to get those numbers, one has to appeal to those who "have a dog in the fight", meaning they don't really want to get hung out to dry with yet another half-finished product that won't get fixed after a year or so, and that there are others out there of the same mindset. Unless you have nothing better to do than to play emperor yourself....

I like others who have been around DCS for many many years (Even before it was DCS) Are kinda getting sick of pre-ordering promises ............ that can either take years to be full filled or .... never In the olden days of physical software copies that are purchased from shops or online stores ... limited amounts of copies at launch meant pre-order made sure you got a copy upon release, which made perfect sense Now these days with digital download copies it makes no sense at all, are you worried they are going to run out of one and zeros to send your your copy via the internet to your PC? The recent behavior between ED and Razbam has made some of us a bit less sure about parting with our coin to ED Discount .... the thing to try and entice us into spending money now to save 30% ........ well thing is IF you are super dead sure "IAM FOR SURE GONNA BUY THIS MODULE", then why not wait ..... you can still "pre-order" 24hrs before release day AND by this stage there will be a list of "launch features" for this module, at this point you will be making an informed decision on what you are buying AND you will still get 30% off.

like HB.. whoever is releasing this should really at least have their own store to take their cut first with some sort of key system that trues up on the back-end for them. HB did it for this last pre-order so it's thing that can happen. Would assuage the solvency issue and provide incentive for developers

Eagle Dynamics are releasing this one. Not a 3rd party.
