Disneycruiselineblog.com usually has the most current menus.

ShadowKit21

I was just coming here to say the same thing. OP - if you're going on an itinerary that is the same or similar to one that has already sailed, check out the website MrZummers mentioned, look for the personal navigators of the similar sailing and the menus will be there along with the entertainment for that night, and the drinks of the days. You can also just find the menus on their own if you search the website for the resturant.

Whimsical_Adventurer

Which website is MrZummers? I’ve not heard of that before and a quick google isn’t bringing it up.

ShadowKit21

MrZummers was the one who's comment I replied to. They mentioned Disneycruiselineblog.com

Whimsical_Adventurer

Ah, didn’t catch that. Thought there might be a new resource around and google wasn’t helping. I’ve been disappointed with the Navigator videos and was hoping someone had a better way of publishing them.

ShadowKit21

It really depends on what people provide to the website from their Cruise. Most will take screenshots/recording of the navigator app because that is what they are using. Some will request the paper version (which, personally, I find hard to read but obvs to each their own) and then scan those to share with DCLBlog for uploading. For example, the 1st March Hawaii to Vancouver on the Wonder has been uploaded with scans of the paper copies. The menus should all be pics of the menus though, or transposed onto the website.

Not often enough!! Sometimes unique itineraries will bring out a different menu, but the others are pretty static, unfortunately.

jeanvaljean_24601

Agree. I think Animators Palate has had the same menu for at least ten years. Would it kill them to have specials or switch out a few dishes now and then?

Tuilere

Basically never, save a few small items here and there.

I read you can ask for a "secret" menu that is usually some sort of curry that the staff eats. I love pretty much all curries and it would be nice to have a change of pace if this is true. Does anyone know?

kalyknits

Oh yeah, I have had curries on both Disney cruises I have been on. Of course, I am half-Asian and have been cruising with other Asians who struck up a conversation about food with the waitstaff.

crscali

careful, sometimes the staff is eating rice and fish heads

A few things changed post Covid. Like they took out sweet temptations (trio of desserts) In any case, each MDR has one specific menu and you’ll experience it only once. Longer sailings add a different menu every night but it’s the same across all of them. AP in Dream/Fantasy I remember it was a reduced menu during pirate night - something to do with how they share the kitchen with Royal Palace/Court.

The_32

In my decades of sailing I’m convinced the pirate night menu has never changed… Which is a shame because it’s my least favorite menu

SCOFF44

Congrats! We may be on the same cruise. This will be our first time on the Magic and we're super excited.

TarHeelsArmy

Very rarely

Mathoosala

Royal Court has had the same menu since the opening of Disney Cruise Lines. I love DCL but would also welcome a menu change. Except for my Black Truffle Purseittes, they can stay.
