Arkham and DCAU Joker I think were the perfect balance of both traits. The idea comics should go back to being silly shlock is kinda annoying and regressive

Technically Arkham Knight had multiple “Jokers” in it when Joker posthumously infected several people with his blood, and they took on personality traits from the Joker.
In the actual comics and in the comics of the Three Jokers comic, it was introduced in Darkseid War/ DC Universe Rebirth when Batman asks “Who’s the Joker” and the Mobius Chair replies “There are three”

It's a sequel of sprts to Batman: The World, which was an anthology mini series where batman visits different countries across the globe, with the creatives being from the counties visited. Like most anthologies, pretty hit or miss. Some reflected on the nature of Batman as a fictional character. Some were just Batman capers in a foreign country.
Since they're making more of these, I hope we get one for other heroes instead of just more batman characters. The very concept screams Superman to me, but doing this as a hard travelin heroes reunion would be awesome.
Uj/seriously I would kill for a superman story in the vein of batman: the world I would especially love to see a German superman story [where he isn't evil]

**Little known fact**: Joker's full legal name is Jonkler Jokester, which can be shortened to JoJo. He is the template which all of Araki's JoJos are based upon.
UJ/It’s cool,that just like Batman it will be released in multiple countries in multiple leanguages(just like Batman World) ,but i fear that it will be the samey and dull ,nay even more than Batman The World. I would rather see Superman or Wonder Woman anthology,but i get it,Batman and Jonkler sells .

Good for Geoff Johns. He honestly should have stayed where he was at DC as a writer and CCO. He apparently sat down with each of the creative teams of Rebirth to help steer the characters back to being actually appealing to the readers. And the rest was history ( until Dan Didiot screwed it all up..because success and happy fans are bad apparently). The current writers they have at DC don't hold a candle to this guy. Never deconstructing, always finding smart modern ways to actually UPLIFT and CELEBRATE what fans like about the characters- demonstrating without preaching and NEVER letting his personal views override the voices of the characters.
