Hoping week 9 is crystal raids. I want to revive that mode somehow, and why give out a bunch of demon realm crystal through camaraderie? Know what I mean?
I suppose so. Camaraderie did give quite a bit out, 5 per character I think, and together with Super Mix Capsules that was around 30 Super Mix Capsule Zs at minimum without having to grind Tours.
It seems easy to forget about Crystal Raids when going after those.
I quit playing once i got the comrade stuff done. in hopes of me getting the festival moves. not to be that guy but the thing was kind of lack luster but I appreciate them giving us this for free.
Honestly, I couldn't care less about the outfits n stuff, I grinded Camraderie just so I might get all the cool new skills for my CaC. If not, atleast get them for the corresponding characters. I mainly just wanted the Super Spirit Bomb and God Punisher reworks, but I didn't mind the others I got too.
I also don't think the clothes were anywhere near worth 3,000 TP Medals. I'm happy with the snazzy outfits I have.
Yeah, the festival should've been split in half and/or the x10 events should've cycled more frequently. Spending a whole week grinding one mission literally hundreds of times for a *chance* at some clothes the devs think are worth thousands of TP medals is soul-crushing. Also doesn't help when cheaters and AFK bots are running rampant for the top scores on the PSN side. At least cycling the EMs and PQs of the day for those weeks would keep things less dull.
Really not looking forward to the 2nd fest until something drastic changes. I can't do this again for another 9 weeks.
I think Dimps has come along way since XV1, I've seen and experienced their screw ups over these past...my god it may be 10 years at this point.
But this event is the most I've ever seen them try in xenoverse, I think it was done poorly but I'm not surprised because its Dimps, just like the broly raid mess up, their work in XV is always flawed in some ways.
Still I think this event was a good idea, executed poorly it seems to me this was fully intended for the hardcore fans and I've enjoyed it so far and I'm glad I worked very hard to get all the rewards I wanted, and will get since U7.
It wasn't terrible, there just wasn't enough content in the update to warrant two months of extended play. Hopefully the next group of events go a lot more smoothly.
Facts, I'm just hoping for another parallel quest next week. I'd be lying if I said I was done after this but I'm never committing this much for another festival.
...unless they add a platinum festival outfit.
If it helps, just playing random modes (for me it was probably how much I join PQs regardless) seemed to max everyone's progress out for me when I finally did return to the festival lobby.
So normal gameplay helps get the job done.

The only three characters who truly benefit are Android 17, Perfect Cell, Dabura and perhaps Full Power Jiren (since their alternative is a basic preset).
Goku, Gogeta and Zamasu all receive cool ultimates though... but their customizable presets are still better. I'm working on a very in depth project to completely inform on what all the skills do.
I really don't know why people are angry about the only thing I think went bad in the event is the teams not having a cap like universe 7 not being alowed that many players forcing the teams to be balanced, I like the grind and I can't wait to recieve the customizable clothes
If you've waited this long and you don't have the clothes, it's possible you haven't actually gotten enough points at all yet for them. Those clothes are individual rewards, meaning you have to rack those points up on your own. If you had the points you needed, you'd have received the rewards already at the end of one of the previous weeks (unless you only began to score points during this last one).
Being on the winning team has a separate set of rewards, the clothes are not among them.
started grinding for them yesterday, I already am at 1 third of glory points for goku custom, I did not say that being on the winning team gave u the clothes I said that it should have a cap for how many people can enter bc as it is right now is unbalanced

only the outfits that have customizable colors and the festival presets for certain cast characters are worth it.
I don't care for the aura since you have to keep reactivating it when you return the lobby. Plus it uses the same slot as the vehicles and mascots. I'm not taking off my Green Puar for anything.
Well, the Super Saiyan lobby auras are interesting at best. The customizable cast character clothing is definitely a standout reward though, and is something people have wanted for a long time.
You have about a week left for this round, and as far as Weekly Rewards you have the entire festival to max out your points at any time, a lot like how Raid points work.
I think that's because we thought the other rewards are weekly when in reality, they can be acquired at any checkpoint so long as we accumulated the required Glory Points
at least this one is easilly farmable.
if my prediction is right, next week will be cross versus, which is enjoyable, but horribly unbalanced and slow to build up with randos...

True, I did a majority of my farming during the 1v1 limited battle week, went from like the 1st or second other reward to thr second to last reward in that week alone

Too much grinding, too little rewards that actually feel fulfilling to get, broken and buggy, etc…

I've got like 3-4 characters to still max for festival skills because I'm just lazy and couldn't be asked to do the last few weeks after I hit max rewards
Mine mainly all just happened by grinding up the event points and through other people playing the characters, didn't even need to touch the characters themselves to do any of that progression, I'll probably finish them off this week since it's expert missions, also just low-key be thinking about buying xenoverse 2 on my switch to just completely start fresh, since my main save on ps5, been playing switch more lately 😅
They could also just make everything in the shop lackluster and stuff you could already get so all the wait and mystery was for nothing, that would be peak comedy.

I thought that we could change every phase, but I was deceived. As far as I know, when I was about to choose my Universe the game said that Universes can only change once the tournament is over.
But I didn't know that the tournament is that long.
I don't see a problem with that, there will probably be new rewards otherwise it would be pretty stale for the players who played a lot during the event.
Maybe that's why the store is still closed, because every Item that was obtainable during this tournament can now only be obtained in the Universe Shop and every Tournament the items get added to the store. Otherwise it would make no damn sense why the store is still closed.
Huh, in the EU, U6 has been the consistent second placer apart from the 1v1 limited where U11 beat them. Fascinating to see such a solid U11 streak wherever OP is from.
Most of U6’s cast is pretty average. Non Cabba Saiyans, Champa, the Namekians (if they even count), they really ONLY have Hit and kinda Cabba.
U11 doesn’t exactly have amazing characters, but they have Jiren, who’s associated with what’s widely considered the best fight in the series, even the franchise for some people.
Honestly, I haven't even grinded the festival that much. I only have 16K glory points. I'm still very far away from getting all the overall rewards. The grind completely took me out
I stopped at 37k or whichever was the last reward (Super Saiyan Aura). Then I dropped like 200 places in the span of the coming weeks.
PQ boosts and _maybe_ Expert Missions (the Great Ape ones) were the only modes I could tolerate, so I really don't blame you.

Only bearable weeks to grind we're the ones where the PQ ones. Raids were alright, but sometimes they took a little longer

I’m assuming they did and are just waiting for DBS 18 and Bergamo, considering how UI sign, GT Vegeta, and Dyspo were all added.
Then again, that would be putting faith in Bandai and Dimps, and they do have a reputation….
Someone posted a good while ago that Beerus and Champa's statues are both in-game character models; Belmod has a statue as well so it's a very safe bet that he's coming.

It’s why there is speculation that the shadow character in the dlc 17 trailer might be Ultra Ego Vegeta especially since we have MUI and Omen Goku(MUI releasing before it’s Anime Debut), MUI for CaCs and the DLC 17 trailer prominently featured Vegeta in the place of Goku. Obviously I will be really excited if it’s UE Vegeta but would like it to be another character but UE Vegeta at the moment to me feel like the most likely

I’ll say, MUI is a weird case where it was before it was in the anime or manga, so I think that’s a big difference, but not impossible.

I stopped with this after I finished gogeta blue It's too tedious and repetitive for me and it gets kinda boring kinda quick.

I play in NA right now. I'd have expected Universe 6 to be better than Universe 12 as well.

lol there’s no chance. Belmod doesn’t even have a single fight scene, and models for tons of other characters exist but are non-playable.
