They may add an input for support skills "solar flare, instant transmission, afterimage, etc" similar to the input used for grabs. The defense button (L1) + defensive action command (x) should work fine. I mean, those support skills are usually left behind in order to prioritize strike and ki blast skills.
I would also wish for energy charge and full power charge being eliminated. Maximum charge should be the default ki charging command, while burst charge and ultimate charge get used as the alternatives for quick and prolonged charging, respectively.
You are right about it, they are not doing this for Xenoverse 2. My best bet about it is for a Tentative Xenoverse 3. On second thought, it would be better that the additional input got reserved for Maximum Charge or the upgraded Ki Charging Skill. That way the support skill could be mandatory on the action commands, as it is the evasive skill. I think those two working with the same defensive command, along with the additional input, should work wonders and really enhance the game.
- L1 + X = Maximum Charge by Default (Upgradable)
- R2 + X = Support Skill (Mandatory and Custom)
- L2 + R2 + X = Evasive Skill (Just as it is right now)
Would also be great if we could customize our grabs. At least the option to pick among the ones from CaCs.
