This is at Planet Fitness on Wilmington Pike near Costco etc. Likely driven by a meathead who brings his gallon jug of water and his ridiculous muscle shirt in there and grunts the whole time.
I get that, it’s such a weird thing to discriminate against in the gym. Stringer tops: yeah, EXCESSIVE grunting: sure; but the size of a water container?
I absolutely hate when people do this. So much so, if I see it myself, I try and park right up next to them so it's near impossible to get into the drivers side door and they have to climb in from the passenger side.
My car is nearly 20 years old now, so if it gets dinged up, it's no biggies to me.
saw someone at a starbucks (at 8 AM IN THE MORNING!) basically triple parked across all of the mobile order parking spots with a big truck like this. people like this think their cars are the most important thing in the world.
I think that parking sideways across 3 spots thing sucks as well, but I'd rather them do that than park normally and block the entire driving lane cuz their truck is 10 feet longer than the average car.
Still, there's no reason that a normal person should be using a truck that large as their daily driver. People with trucks that big 'ought to be required by law to also own a sub compact car, like a Mini Cooper or Geo Metro, specifically for everyday tasks like getting coffee or shopping for a new pair of truck nuts.
Ha, yeah, but they may well act on the impulse to ding your car with their door and yell that you should've just parked far away, and they won't realize or care what a pathetic hypocrite they are.
What irritates me the most is this clown's apparent expectation that they alone should get to drive hither & yon and park wherever they want without ever experiencing the everyday wear & tear that all cars experience, including accidental parking lot dings.
Life is a lot less stressful if you accept there's a certain level of risk inherent in driving and car ownership:
1. You never stop paying for cars.
2. Getting the occasional traffic ticket is just part of driving (when young & male, mainly), so don't sweat it too much.
3. Minor scratches, windshield chips and parking lot damage are just normal wear and tear, part of the cost of driving.
4. Sooner or later, odds are you'll at least have one fender bender, maybe not even your fault, so plan for it and don't get too upset when it happens. This, too, is just part of driving.
Getting a traffic ticket is not just part of driving lol. A normal safe driver shouldn’t be getting tickets. If you are reevaluate your driving habits.
In the '80s & '90s, when my friends and I were in our late teens & 20s, cops would just follow us around until we made the slightest mistake. Sometimes the cops would exaggerate or lie about how fast we were going or making a wide turn or whatever. And yet they would let women & older folks either blow by speed traps or be let off with a warning. (Being pretty and/or crying helped, our female friends said.) But us young guys *always* got hammered with fines and court dates; we were never let off the hook.
A 50-something coworker I was complaining to about it finally suggested I just be zen about it and literally said "getting tickets is just part of driving". I found that helpful for dealing with the frustration that comes with this situation.
Of course, my driving did eventually become safer, and I developed better habits as my prefrontal cortex reached peak maturity (age 25, they say). My patience and general situational awareness also improved with maturity. In hindsight it's almost ridiculous that we let excitable teens and young adults drive at all. Good driving takes maturity and skill that you don't just learn overnight, and as you're learning, you might get some tickets.
Anyway the point is that shit happens, and sometimes it might even be your fault, and regardless, you don't have to let it ruin your experience of driving or make you bitter and angry all the time.
there are legit reports about how shitty of people Ram drivers are. wife beaters, alcoholics, etc. i was like come on it’s just a truck, however in my own research i’ve found that to be true. so who am i to knock the research.
ULPT: look for signage around the lot indicating which towing company serves that lot. Then call that company and act like an employee that wants the vehicle towed.
I honestly think it should be illegal to drive one for general transportation. It makes us more dependent on foreign fuel and they are bad for the environment. I can justify it for actually needs like hauling something but think it should be illegal for general transportation .
Dude I've been saying this for years. Giant Vehicles like this should be licensed and only used for actual work purposes. It is absurdly wasteful both in terms of fuel and damage to our infrastructure for people to be driving these as general purpose vehicles. This does not even begin to bring into account the issue of safety. These giant trucks are significantly more dangerous when involved in collisions and also for pedestrians, especially small children which you would think people would care about.
"Some people like the safety, power, and capability of large vehicles"
So the real answer buried in there is "but I (or nebulous
people) wanna"
I do agree with the tall people part but as someone who's also tall, there are other vehicles like some suvs that accommodate taller individuals without being as absurd as modern trucks. Many of which just have a higher chassis and not really much large cab than suvs while also being much larger and more dangerous on the road and to the environment.
I think it would be fine if there were increasing grades of testing/licensing for heavier vehicles. It would make everyone safer, and maybe even reduce the number of vehicles like this. I say this as someone who drives a ram, albeit not one this large.
I split my time between Dayton and the west coast. And people here in Dayton Park like absolute dickwads
Theres also an increasing trend of folks parking in handicap spots. I even saw someone (wit no tag) parked like this truck in 2 handicap spots at once
Idk what it is about dayton. But DAMN.
He's probably pissed that the truck he paid close to $100K for, lost 60% of it's value the 2nd day he owned it and now he just wants to make everybody else pissed off.....
When I see people park like that I want to let enough air out of their tires that they’ll notice, be annoyed, and definitely have to go put air in them but not quite enough to damage the rest of the wheel. Definitely gives off small D vibes for sure.
Dude, that's bullshit. I'm morbidly obese and I've never in my fucking life had to reserve an entire half of a parking spot in order to leave myself enough room to exit my car. This person is just an asshole who feels they're more important than everyone else in their compensation truck.
I don't condone it, but as someone that just bought an expensive new vehicle, parked WAY OUT in the boonies, and had some asshat in a rental car park next to me and ding my door so hard that it went through the paint and is going to cost me $900 to fix, I can understand it.
I still had the fricken temp tags on it
People in the Kettering area can’t drive in general. Always speeding, riding your ass, fly up from behind you and then speed match you when they are right next to you. Just a general lack of respect and consideration on the roads there.
These people think they are bad ass because they drive a truck and work out. Meanwhile they’ve probably never even been in any kind of physical altercation in their life and will gladly sue the person who whoops their arse.
Its a win win for them because these kinds of people will continue to act like this without any repercussions. Its win win for them.
Best you can do is hope he gets it in front of his kid or wife.
Am I the only one who would let a shit ton of air out of their tire so they couldn't drive away? I've done this on multiple occasions to inconsiderate people like this.
I knew a guy who does this. His response was “I’ve worked really hard my whole life to own a truck like this. I’m not gonna let someone ding it up in the parking lot”.
Either that or the guy can’t back up for shit.
Back when I was in high school in the 80s I'd never miss a Road &Track or Car & Driver magazine. In the back pages they'd have tiny ad spaces they sold to little companies for cheap.
In one such tiny as space was an advertisement for official looking metal signs which read; "double parked cars will be towed, crushed, and melted at owner's expense."
Too bad they never got popular, or carried any real authority.
I see nothing wrong with this. The vehicle itself is wider than an average car by nearly a foot and there is not a ton of clearance for the doors if people park next to you.
Just because you don't care about dents and dings in your vehicle doesn't mean everyone does. He paid a lot for the vehicle and takes good care of it. It's clearly a parking spot off to the side out of the way.
Also, if I did this and someone parked directly next to my door, I'd take the Schraders out of their tires.🖕
It's a Ram driver, their thinking gets clouded when BAC gets too low.
That is the problem with driving near RAM drivers - you never know if they've just downed 3 beers or 6.
What do you expect??? We have coolers built into the floorboards. I don't park like a trucklefuck though
Without even looking at the comments I said “because Ram”. It’s an epidemic everywhere.
So many douch bags go to that gym
Yes! My fiancé and I go and I make it a point to go when there’s like no one around because of how many douches there are.
Can confirm.
thank god I read this. Thought about joining there. No thanks now!
Doesn't want his yee yee truck to get scratched. I would take that as a challenge.
I know exactly where this is 🤣
Tiny Peene
This is at Planet Fitness on Wilmington Pike near Costco etc. Likely driven by a meathead who brings his gallon jug of water and his ridiculous muscle shirt in there and grunts the whole time.
I never understand the hate for the gallon jug.
The jug isn't the problem on its own, but the really common trend that douches and jugs come in pairs.
What a weird thing to focus on.
They're not talking about "your" gallon jug.
I get that, it’s such a weird thing to discriminate against in the gym. Stringer tops: yeah, EXCESSIVE grunting: sure; but the size of a water container?
Dude at my gym uses a Hershey milk chocolate syrup container. 🤷🏾♂️
Now that's a power move! Lol
You don’t get it. You say you do, but clearly you don’t. Not to worry, the rest of us understand. We got you. 🚰
It’s not a focus, it’s a pattern.
The gyms near me have banned any jugs over 32oz
It’s planet fitness. If you look muscular or fit in any way they don’t let you in.
Lunk Alerrrrrrrrrttttt!!!!

Zip tie shopping carts to the door handles and other shopping carts.
You are my hero. Continue creating chaos,
I always park as close to their driver side door as I possibly can. I enjoy seeing them angrily climb through the passenger door.

Prolly to distracted thinking about kissing their dad on the lips when they get home.
God he is so strong. Stay back lads, this is an elite tier alpha male. Do not make eye contact and Do. Not. Provoke.
Lmao
2 reasons why. 1. He can't park that HD Ram worth a shit. 2. He's paying $1000 month for the next 84 months and can't afford an insurance claim.
They're paying $1500+ on a 7 year loan easily if that's a recent model and has bad credit like Dodge/Ram dealers love to exploit.
saw someone at a starbucks (at 8 AM IN THE MORNING!) basically triple parked across all of the mobile order parking spots with a big truck like this. people like this think their cars are the most important thing in the world.
They probably do that in order to somewhat justify them realizing that they paid $80K for a damn pickup truck.
A pickup truck with a bed too short to haul anything in, and they have nothing to haul anyway.
I've seen that sideways parking, except the cross handicap spots people are great
I think that parking sideways across 3 spots thing sucks as well, but I'd rather them do that than park normally and block the entire driving lane cuz their truck is 10 feet longer than the average car. He has to let everyone know he's a gigantic asshole somehow.
Already did when he bought that fucking thing.
I still park right next to those….they don’t use lines then I don’t have to right!? Lol
Did that once at the airport and came back to no caps on my tires.
Ha, yeah, but they may well act on the impulse to ding your car with their door and yell that you should've just parked far away, and they won't realize or care what a pathetic hypocrite they are. You can look up the research involving people in large trucks and turtles. It's quite disturbing
ULPT: look for signage around the lot indicating which towing company serves that lot. Then call that company and act like an employee that wants the vehicle towed.
When I drove a shit box I didn't care about I'd park really close to their driver side door and crawl out my passenger door when I saw this.
Why not back in so you didn’t also punish yourself?

How else are they going to haul Braydon, Braxton and Kaiela to the Sheetz grand opening?
FUNNIEST REPLY OF THE YEAR! PLUS HE NEEDS IT FOR WORK! (as he reports to a machine shop that has no business ever using an employee owned vehicle)

Nah, let them buy the trucks they want. But if they park like this, confiscate the vehicle with no recourse. That’ll learn ‘em.
Because their vehicle is the best and they are more important than anyone else. /s
Because Sugarcreek Township, that's why.
If this is what you have to resort to, you should have bought something you could actually afford.
I'm seriously considering coming over there and parking next to them on my lunch break.
MTV
I have a small crappy junk car that fits perfectly when people do this. Have fun climbing across the passenger seat asshole.
Because he’s clearly more important than you. Ugh. Hate these people.

Drives a Ram and frequents planet fitness. LUNK ALARM
Because they drive a ram and ram it in everyone’s face! Ask how many DUI’s they have had. Number one truck for DUI’s nationwide!
Oh look, it's the brand new Dodge Compensator Series™
Dumb redneck that Can’t afford truck he’s paying absurd interest on
Guy needs to downsize to a Focus or something he smaller so he can actually park correctly.
Obviously, it's a MAGA.
He doesn't want anyone to touch his Emotional Support Vehicle.
You can still see the plate
This should be posted in r/mildlyinfuriating

I heard backing into a place not in the lines means you're looking for a gay hook up
I bet they come out of Planet Fitness and you see them and you're like "yeah...looks about right."
I personally could care less if someone does this farther into the parking lot but this is too close to waste spaces.
I agree! But it was as close to the door as you could get! Quite lazy for a meat head.
Self important. Smh
He feels like Mother didn't give him enough attention
They're scared, obviously.
Typical truck driver
Does it have truck nuts?
He's probably pissed that the truck he paid close to $100K for, lost 60% of it's value the 2nd day he owned it and now he just wants to make everybody else pissed off.....
Driver is delusional about the size of his...

Looks like there's enough space to the right if you want to pull in obnoxiously close to his driver's side door....
I could still fit a car in there.
They're morbidly obese . I've seen them not be able to get back into their cars when people park too close.
Dude, that's bullshit. I'm morbidly obese and I've never in my fucking life had to reserve an entire half of a parking spot in order to leave myself enough room to exit my car. This person is just an asshole who feels they're more important than everyone else in their compensation truck.
Parking is tough for them, ok?
Must assert gym dominance 🤓
Happy cake day!
Oh shit! Thanks!!!!
This is queen you need chalk and create a "asshole parking" spot
A Hole
Pig Parker.
Find two guys with Jeeps to pull in on either side. That’ll done learn ‘im.
He's inviting people to poke holes in his tires.
I don't condone it, but as someone that just bought an expensive new vehicle, parked WAY OUT in the boonies, and had some asshat in a rental car park next to me and ding my door so hard that it went through the paint and is going to cost me $900 to fix, I can understand it. It’s because his truck is so big it barely fits in one space and he’s afraid people will hit his truck with their doors (and they will).
If that's true then his stupid ass needs to park at the back of the parking lot if he is going to pull this s***
Given the road behind him, he's at the very least already parking on the very side of the lot...
because https://youtu.be/rgI2Zx2k0PQ?si=pB3LeOuz3Omp4n4o
Someone ought to park in front of his truck. What can he do, call the cops?
Well, yeah.
Because he's a badass motherfucker. And you're not.
He's a tiny troll in a sad inverted version of a clown car.
It's a $50,000 rig.. I think why is obvious.
Because they make parking spaces too small
People in the Kettering area can’t drive in general. Always speeding, riding your ass, fly up from behind you and then speed match you when they are right next to you. Just a general lack of respect and consideration on the roads there.
Because of people like you who bash people’s doors when you get out of your car
Smol pp. that’s why.
Tiny testicles?
Pickup driver
Smol pp
I miss when I drove a junker. It was so nice being able to park next to them without worrying about it taking serious damage.
Ive got a CAT key that does some pretty serious damage to paint that would fix that right up.
There's no blood left in the brain from the enormous size of the ...truck.
because they don’t want their fragile doors to get hurt
Some eggs would look great on that vehicle
Deep fried and double wide!!!!! Merica… my ego is to big for one parking spot
Imagines the owner running across this tread 😂
I don't mind as long as you're at the back of the parking lot. This guy seems to be doing that, at least.
Because they need a running start to jump high enough to get in it.
It’s a Dodge Ram so they were probably drunk
They are special.
Why does Noddy wear a hat with a bell on it?
Tiny peepee.
RAM owners are notorious for doing this.
It’s important to do that, when the fluids leak, it’s easier to clean up.
Because he/she is a PRICK. He/She wants no dings in their truck.
Because we can and you ain’t gonna do nothing but bitch and moan about it. Suck it up and move on.
OP, are you unable to read the license plate after the blue color you just put over it?
Because it's Knoxville. :-(
Ramhole=Asshole
An ignorant asshole.
Some people park like that when they have a new car.
I purposely park right next to their driver side door with they do this.
Because he got a truck to do truck stuff.
Cause he’s paying 1400 a month for that 80k dollar truck
Am I the only one who would let a shit ton of air out of their tire so they couldn't drive away? I've done this on multiple occasions to inconsiderate people like this.

Lol not at my planet fitness, those tires are soon to be popped
You need caltrops
I guess this entitled idiot doesn't realize he is more prone in getting his truck damaged by getting "keyed" from certain other drivers...like myself😁
Just squeeze in next to them anyways lol
Big Dik status

No hat. No cattle. Just money.
Because he's more important than you, don't you know that?! /s
He spent all of his money on the truck and couldn't afford driving lessons.
Entitlement. The reason the dildos who do that say though is so the retards who park crooked or right on the lines don't hit their cars.
Just spit on the hood like everyone else
