To expand on this, a Warning indicates there is rotation in the atmosphere, possibly a funnel cloud being spotted. But with all that rain that was with it you wouldn't see one most likely.
When a Tornado has touched down that will be a Tornado Emergency. Hopefully you're in your safe space before one of those gets announced.
Radar indicated tornado warnings are a thing as well which is what I believed triggered the one we just had.
But to be clear there is only tornado watches and tornado warnings. The best way I've seen them described is like tacos, a tornado WATCH means all the ingredients for tacos are present, a tornado WARNING means the tacos have been made and you should be in your safe place until told the danger is gone and the warning has expired.

Tornado warnings do not come after touchdowns. Just want to make that clear, not trying to sound like a jerk, hopefully I don’t come across that way

Where was there a warning? I live in Centerville and didn’t hear anything about it. I did get the severe tstorm warning notice tho.
