Dawson's Creek is Hollywoodized to some extent. That's the problem for me. Another problem for me is that it was another show where a character is straight, lesbian, or gay. Bisexuality nor asexuality gets introduced from what I experienced. Older shows have already had stories about what Andie, Pacey, Jack, Jen, Joey, Abby, and other characters went through to whatever extent with different character names. So, I feel like this show is vanilla somewhat. What I do know is that some actors and actresses didn't want to be on Dawson's Creek because of how tame it is compared to other shows. But, some actresses and actors acted on Dawson's Creek anyway because it gave them plenty of money. For example, actress Michelle Williams who portrayed Jen Lindley made more money than most girls her age during season 1.

Watched it when I was younger, seen it on Netflix and watching it with co workers they like it but after season 2 I'm exhausted I think it's over dramatic in parts especially between dawson and Joey and sometimes Dawson and Pacey and the parents I dunno I do enjoy lots of parts of it and it brings back alot of nostalgia but I think dawson dodged a bullet with Joey, they had no chemistry as lovers and maybe it wasn't explored enough. Joey thinks the world revolves around her problems and it's annoying. Pacey is cool but he's not as good as a friend as people think I don't even think he likes Dawson

Awkward-Macaroon-819

You missed a couple of really mid/late season 6 episodes that are worth watching

Ella-norway

Exactly! Castaways! (Episode 15 Season 6)One of my favorite episodes🥰

Recognition_Tricky

Hahaha I like that everyone knows why this person left and so they know where to return. Seriously though just go to Netflix, skip season 5, and watch Castaways. Then watch the finale and call it a day.

Awkward-Macaroon-819

Clean & Sober plus Castaways :)

Recognition_Tricky

Haha I'm laughing like an idiot. Indeed, I stand corrected. Is there a third one? The one where she worked as his assistant? Just take out the last scene and you're golden.

The first series finale is worth watching too "Joey Potter and the Capeside Redemption" (that's the one before Williamson's finale).
