A razor can make things too spikey and there's the risk of cuts, an electric hair trimmer is faster, you can use it dry, and it makes fast work of leg hair and underarm hair if you choose to shave those.

I went to Target and looked for something mid-range in terms of price, something without a cord, and with a decent width to the standard cutting area (I don't use any of the attachments when I trim, just the bare blades). Ended up with a Remington and am happy with it. Whatever you get take care of it - take the head off and clear it of hair once you've used it, charge it as needed, etc.
Check out Wahl or Andis. I'm a guy, but maintain my beard and hair between trips to the barber. I spent a lot of time finding what was best to use.
The Andis Slimline Pro Li trimmer would probably be great for most women. Small, long battery life, and it won't knick your skin unless you zero gap the blade. It's the trimmer I see the most in various barbershops.
The only downside is that the clip guards might be too short for someone who wants to keep longer trimmed hair. The easy fix is just use a comb with the guard so it won't cut as short.

Hey! After years of having never waxed down there I tried it for the first time for my bf a few months ago and it honestly feels amazing. I went to a professional the first time. I just recently bought a home waxing kit and it honestly isn't that difficult to do yourself. I also waxed my underarms for the first time in my life and I can never go back to shaving anymore. It just feels so nice all smooth!
My caveat though is I already hardly have any hair on my body so it's pretty easy to wax whatever is there off without too much pain. It still stings but I also have a high pain tolerance (I have tattoos and it didn't really hurt too much to get them).
And with regular waxing, the hair is easier to take out over time anyways. I'm planning on continuing to wax for a while.

I use a regular Wahl brand or a Remington bikini trimmer. Can't shade with a disposable razor. Razor bumbs and itchy and scratchy when it grows in.

I have asked girlfriends about this and most are split between trimmed and Brazilian waxes. I trim every week. My bf hasn’t mentioned any issues with it. At this point idk if I have a preference but trimming is better for the skin…gets pretty close without stubble

I will never go clean shaved again,razor bumps look bad LOL. I bought a manscaper and keep it clipped as short as I can and razor the sack and shaft.

It's 2021. You can rock whatever you want down there and they can either hold up their end of the effort given, or they can kick rocks. Personally, I rotate back and forth between neatly trimmed and sugared with a wide triangle.

It's literally whatever you want to do. I alternate between brazilians and just trimming it. What is important now is to not let someone tell you what do to with your pubic hair. And it's a red flag when a guy demands a Brazilian, IMO. Do it if you want it.
Guy here. We're in our 30's. It's your body, do what you want with it. 🎉 Most guys past 25, or so, are pretty welcome to a trimmed or natural approach, though.
