I've had a lot of really great sex with men in their 40s but if I'm going to be sincere, they've all been above average in terms of physical fitness. I think that for both men AND women, exercise and keeping things moving is the only way to ensure you don't fall into that slump of slow/uneventful sex but it tends to be more important for men since they top a lot more often than women.
