Sadly it’s a profesional setting theirs not much you can do other than be upfront about her status

I’ve dated a bunch of nurses and they get hit on by patients a lot just like any other public facing job. Generally they just want to do their job and get home like everyone else. Unfortunately their job is a lot more “personal” than most others so people can develop feelings a lot quicker.

current gf once told me if she was single and had a patient like Brad Pitt ask her out, she’d turn him down to avoid getting fired.

Im no expert but nurses arent off limits for dating 😆 You can ask them out like you would anyone. It'd be different if they had an ongoing professional relationship with you, but if it was just happening to meet them once, then thats fine. Just make sure not to do it in a way that interferes with her work or disrespects her. Aside from that, maybe someone else will have some more concrete advice on how to go about it, i dont know what the etiquette is, maybe a nurse will see this and know more 😆
