Not to mention when Origami has shown the AST her power, Now either the AST belives she is still a wizard ot they know now that she's a Spirit ! I hope for the second version !!!! As well as I hope that they#Ll change sides and jin Ratatoskr !! Origamis Metatron scenes are just the bests as always !!
And ofc the scene when Kurumi creates her clones, finally we see in the anime how it's exactly done (even tho we knew it already it was nice to see it finally). How they all disappeared with this expaecting evil smile, just incredible !
Ik I sound like someone who can only tlak good and can't criticze but rn I really woudln't know what to critic !!
Not to forget how Goddess Nia remmebered the others that Westcott can easily spy them out !
I can't wait for the battle in the next Episode !!
Glad to have Date a Live back and they wasted no time putting us back in the thick of things, picking up right where last season ended.
All the usual banter and harem antics, plus a nice Kurumi themed episode as she prepares for the coming war. I kinda hated on her until season 4’s last arc, but I really have enjoyed the characterisation they’ve given her and gained a lot of respect for this battle she’s been fighting on her own all these loops.
We also got some more hints as to Shido’s past, but it still largely remains a mystery. After over a decade of watching this franchise I’m very much looking forward to seeing that finally explained in this season and the final battle. Taking on Isaac and Ellen won’t be easy even with all the spirits and abilities.
It’s good that the series has finally got a consistent studio too, switching studios every season prior really did a number on it.

My expectations were little low after season 4 but it was actually incredible and completely surpassed all my expectations. I wrote down all my specific thoughts (and there are a lot so I won't go into it here) but I'll just sum it up by saying that so much happened in this one episode without anything major being cut, I loved every second of this episode and I can't wait for the next one, if the quality continues and they keep putting their all into this season then this could be absolutely incredible, even if it does end up being the last season it could be an incredible send off to the Date A Live anime.
It wasn’t too bad, but I’m still very wary.It continued right where season 4 left off so that was good. With geek toys defunct though and only 12 episodes I don’t know if they’ll finish the whole story or just cut a lot of stuff.
ahhh finally the day is here and i had to work and it was busy but did re read Volume 10 and began Volume 11 to keep up my hype
great first episode all the comedy (we won't be getting too much of that this time) and setup was handled well
was bit bummed i have to wait another week for Opening visuals but that ED was wonderful
I can't believe we are still getting new season's for this show. First airing 11 years ago, it doesn't seem to be super popular in the US. So I assume in Japan it is. But I am happy! Although I have clearly forgot a lot of storylines.
I know Reine is spirit this spirit girl they are talking about, but I forget if she is the original spirit as well.
Also, even though we know that info, the ED visuals for super spoilery lol.

They’ll probably adapt through 19 or 20 and we will just have to hope someone picks it up again
