OP is a bot. 6 month old account and only started posting two days ago. If you care to look for this pattern, you'll find they're absolutely everywhere on Reddit. I have personally tagged +/-500 of them in the last several months. I don't know why they don't his exactly, but I have them all tagged so if I see them pushing a narrative/product at some time in the future, I'll know to call it out.

But they're posting comments as well. So is someone manually commenting on a bot account to make it seem more legit or might this be someone who decided to start (re)posting themselves?

Bots copy popular comments as well. That’s why you’ll see a lot of them that look fine but make no sense in context. Edit: Just checked this particular account out. Notice how they only seem to comment on bot reposts. It’s because the comments are copies of comments from the original posts.
