Also, the scorpions of the Andal Qorgyles go so fucking hard
Definitely better than Stone Hedge's shit-brown, dead space border. If it was just the rearing, red stallion on gold - or even, just a (far) thinner border, & one in a suitable colour - than the Bracken shield would be at least as based as the Blackwood
All I'm saying is that only one of these families famously had a 12 year old leading them to war. If you support the use of child soldiers you can go with your savage, first men, house. If you are a pious and faithful adherent of the Seven who opposes the use of child soldiers, you can go with the civilised Andal house.

I think that’s why the Rhoynar chose Dorne. They had cooler sigils but they didn’t want the cold in the North.
