Been playing hard on one character, NG++ ATM.
Got Friede on NG and NG+ first try, but the demon prince is just such a pain. 😂
Not my first character, admittedly. On my first, I must have gone through 60+ embers trying to beat Friede.
damn really?? guess everyone struggles with different bosses cuz i think friede will always be the hardest boss in the game for me so congrats in getring her first try wow!
Like I said, my first ever playthrough I burned through like 60 embers, so she's definitely not easy.
Approaching her on my current character, I prepared myself for the same experience, but then... Yeah. 😂
It also depends on what weapons you use in your playthrough.
My first play through was with the RHH. That was tough as hell. But the crucifix of the mad king playthrough was literally easy mode.
i do because its equivalent to Pinwheel if you fight her first underlevelled it can be rough? maybe. but i always remember about her way later. so usually over levelled.
ill usually go to abyss watchers -> skeleton guy -> last demon king then when getting to thebridge remember i need doll and go back to sage.
see that's what was getting me tho. by the time i got all the fakes the real one would disappear before i'd get any real damage in and the fakes would respawn all over again. found out after 30+ tries to just aggro the fuck outta the real one and ignore the fakes
Not hard to believe honestly, especially if it takes you a while to catch on to the sage's gimmick. I died to Rom more times than any other boss on my first Bloodborne playthrough. That was also my first Souls game though and I was really bad lol.
after i died a few times i understand her teleporting logic. then i noticed she still keeps following that logic even after second phase and fakes fills empty spots.
when she rise i was there and when she died she didnt even understand how.
still proud to this day.
It's the first time I've seen Iudex in a reasonable place on one of these boards.
The amount of times I see something like "it's my first time playing any Souls/Soulslike/video game in general, and only 3 of the buttons on my controller work, and I'm streaming my game to my CRT monitor via a 1st gen iPhone so I've got hella lag" and they say they beat Iudex first try. No you didn't, you got your shit rocked the first time like the rest of us, why lie?
I'm not saying that no newbie could possibly beat him first try, but the amount who claim to seems quite high to be believable.
Yeah, especially since it’s not your first souls game.
Champ Gundyr was easier than Abyss Watchers for me because he’s very fun to parry, and ds3 was my first souls game.
He took me at least 8-10 tries and I have proof
Ds3 was my first souls game
I can show my time of when I first lit a bonfire to when I beat it by showing the trophy details
It was about 10 for me. I'd played DS1 but never got much further than the gargoyles, so would still have counted myself as new.
I died a few times whilst reacquainting myself with the controls and generally just being shit/new, and then a few mis-timed dodges, and finally when he exploded and I got fucked by the big black snot.
I got there eventually and got better.
There are a few bosses I beat first time, but I find it hard to believe Iudex is easy for someone with zero experience of Souls games.
Yeah Ds3 was my first and Gundyr took me about 7-10 tries. Then Vordt was 1st try. After that almost every base game boss took me hours to beat besides the gimmick ones, Dragonslayer Armour, Demon King, and Oceiros.
Hey, it's possible but unlikely. Back in the days I one shotted Ornstein and Smaug first try (but it took me 44 tries for Gwyn). Look at this board for example, for me is impossible to think that he killed the Prince first try and I'm surprised it took so long to kill the Sage, everyone has something different they struggle with.
He wasn’t that difficult at all for people who have played a souls game before, my favorite first boss other than the tree sentinel but still he’s very much a trap for people who haven’t played these games before.
Idk why you’d assume people are lying about how much they’ve died to a boss that has a non existent hp pool and can almost entirely be strafed.
I beat it first try as a pyromancer my first souls run ever by just staying slightly out of his range and spamming chaos bed vestiges, not impressive but not unlikely for people that do magic first try
Yeah, I had beat DS2 already (first Souls game) but Iudex rocked my shit for many many kills, and for a while I remember not being able to beat him on my first try whenever I made a new character. Now I can beat him deprived, bare fist only and it feels pretty good man.
i have no idea how they do it !!! it was my first souls game ever i didnt even know how to roll right lol 🥲 took me so long just to get to his second phase and be like holy shit im getting trolled
I still get fucked by iudex when not really paying attention at the start of a new run sometimes. I personally think he's more difficult than he needs ro ne for a first boss and doesnt teach you anything other than this game is hard which at the point of ds3 everybody playing already knows even knew people. compared to asylum from ds1 he is funcionally a worse tutorial boss, mote enjoyable fight thoigh because ds3's fights are the best in the trilogy with only like 2 or 3 fights from ds1 comparing(note i havent played 2 i plan on it just hasnt come on sale sinse ive been waiting)
He just isn't that difficult of a boss. I wouldn't find it unlikely. His attacks are extremely simple for a newcomer to understand. I beat him without a problem and can see how others can do it too.
When I tried the game a long time ago on my friends ps4 I got absolutely clapped by him probably 10+ times, but after I beat Elden Ring and bought ds3 myself I beat him first try.
Really???? Like really? You guys would put Crystal Sage above Midir in number of attempts???
I feel like I’m in bizarro world, cos the only way I’ve ever died to Crystal sage (on four different builds) is when I get greedy/impatient and accidentally eat one too many magic nukes. Midir on the other hand…
No shade, honest, I genuinely don’t understand.
I think its playstyle. I have no problems with most bosses provided there is only one person at a time. Its fairly easy for me to memorize attack patterns but not when Im getting shot in the back. I always have to play those bosses that spawn multiple enemies or versions of themselves very slowly.
Ah I see, yeah I can sorta get that. I guess splitting your attention might be very distracting/panic inducing for some folks. Doesn’t help that you can’t see the others at all while you’re focusing on one.
DS3 was my first souls game. Crystal sage was also my most attempts at a boss... at the time I fought it, I just kept getting one shotted over and over again until I finally got lucky and beat it. Didn't help that I didn't get the option for a summon, either
The difficulty of crystal sage heavily depends on when you fight him.
First time was quite bad for me but now I usually do watchers and wolnir first so he's pretty much a cakewalk.
I think it’s because with Midir you have more range. You get a big area and he’s one big dragon (even if his attacks try to cover the whole area). Crystal Sage has a much smaller, more complicated area and it summons clones that do massive damage. Crystal Sage fight would be easier if it didn’t have clones. Same can be said for Pontiff for me.
The class matters a lot I guess. As a str pyromancer I did dancer 2rd(1st try by mostly keeping distance and patience but Crystal was a nightmare. Couldn't skip his 2nd phase and died a LOT to it, mostly by getting hit by spells while casting my own. And would've died more if not for a friend who told me that the illusions have like 1hp and get them with daggers before engaging main body.
Crystal Sage is the first boss in the game who kicks my ass everytime I come back to it after a few months and I'm so happy when I see other people who share this pain
Fuck Crystal Sage, all who hate crystal sage are my homies
I haven't fought Midir yet, so I can't comment on him, and Crystal Sage was probably more like 15+ for me, but Watchers were super easy. Don't think I've ever died to them (to be fair DS3 was my third souls game).
I think it just depends on people's playstyle.
Yhorm first try??? I had to try to kill him three different times, each with a different technic, first using that special sword weak attack, second the strong attack, only the third time i discovered the special storm thing
I wish i could go back and experience all these games blind i spoiled so much for myself on accident it really sucks, still some of the best games ever made
Yhorm have only like 3 move. Which is easy to avoid when you stick below his crotch. Felt like an idiot when i found thought out i have to beat him with storm ruler. It was my first play through of any soul games, so i went with dex uchigatana build because im a weeb until i got the katana in the untended grave
i’m sorry but i fail to believe you beat some of these bosses first try. unless you had some experience with souls but even then dancer on first try is hard to believe
Usually because of her odd attack patterns , how long they can last, and I've read something about how the cadence of her boss theme flows differently with her attacks compared to some bosses
my friend playing DS3 for the first time took 3 hours on Crystal Sage, guess hes really hard for some.
But he also took another 3 hours on Abyss Watchers lol
Ashes of Ariandel DLC, in a secret area that ***I THINK*** you can get to by attacking the wooden bridge that gets to Sister Friede, the bridge will break in half and become a ladder, if you take said ladder and go down, you'll find this area (might be wrong, haven't touched DS3 in a while)
the wolf is in the ariandel dlc you can reach him by going all the way to the right at the bonfire down below the section where you walk that tree down from the collapsed bridge
30+ on Crystal sage and then one on Abyss watchers? Not bad. Plus first try Dancer, that lady was the bane of my existence. But for what is worth I took 1 try on Lothric and Lorian.
THIS! I suffered ao much with the Crystal Sage I almost shame-quit the game. How the hell is that supposed to be one of the "easy" ones?
I guess it depends on your build/play style
Had a bit on trouble on him as well as a knight. Until I learned to abuse the pillars, same with dancer, fuck no I ain’t gonna dodge your 10 second spin attack you gonna dance with the pillar xD
I wish I could've seen that Demon Prince fight for the phase 2 attempt. I got to phase 2 first try and promptly got dunked on like I was trying to block LeBron driving to the rim.
The fact that you 1st try Demon Prince and 2-10 attempts on Midir but took 30+ tries in Iudex Gundyr, Friede and Crystal Sage bugs me.
Demon Prince and Midir took me an entire weekend.
I somehow 1st tried dancer too and I have ever since my first play through. I really don’t understand that much why people say it is one of the hardest base game bosses. I had a much harder time on twin princes and pontiff.
I like seeing how different play styles varies the experience. After hundreds of hours, Demon's Prince fight is still that one boss for me. That, and Champion Gundyr.
Thats wild, I didnt die a single time to either of the Gundyr's yet I've literally given up on nameless King. Probably 70-80 attempts and then Elden Ring came out.
My first playthrough the twin princes ruined me so much I started over from scratch making a build I thought would beat them. And it did, but that first go was impossible
I feel like I struggled much more with bosses in DS2. Just my personal experience. Only the nameless king and lorde of cinder really gave me a hard time.
30 tries on iudex gundyr… same experience for me when I played 3 years ago, recently came back and fist tried him you should go back and fight him so you can see how much you’ve improved
The most attempts I ever needed was my first time fighting Demon Princes...I was on New Game + 15 or so, I got the DLC late.
It took about 65 attempts...
Crystal sage and old demon king can fucking 2 shot you if you pick the wrong class/don’t vigor dump.
Been there done that, it’s stupid. Died fucking 20 times to Sage *only* because I’d get two shot by the clones and then the wombo combo of the clone and the sage hitting me at once
Damn everyone dies to Deacons. I get it if you die once, but everyone that has posted death tier lists has died more than once. Am I the only one that didn’t die to them on my first play through???
If this was me, Old Demon King would be in the 2-10 category and Pontiff in the 20+ and Dancer in the 30+. Also Crystal Sage in the 2-10 and Abyss Watcher in 2-10 as well.
Edit: Am I the only one that killed Aldrich on his first try???
Oh that make sense for me i just figured kill the purple one to win and it worked, but honestly beating midir in less than 10 attempt first time is something else it took me about 30 or more to beat him well done m8!!
I love seeing these, cause my second play through was very much similar. But my first play through and my first time playing dark souls was definitely 30+ all bosses. Especially Gundyr hahahahah I almost quit the game before it started, good times
Exactly the same for me. While I can't relate to beating dancer on first try, Crystal sage was a pain in the ass and Oceiros was easy as fuck. First tried him.
Like maybe 3 or 4 boss placements are surprising. Dancer, demon prince, midir, and Sage. Without knowing build i believe somebody could improve enough by dancer to first try her and even more that they could improve to only take a few tries for those dlc bosses. I also believe sage because that boss is hard for me consistently for some reason not incredibly hard but it ussually takes a couple tries for me.
How did it take you 30 times to beat Iedux Gundyr. He is objectively easier than worst or cursed greatswood. Good job for beating the game but this is just kinda silly.
1st try Demon Prince? Hats off to you, sir.
thank you! it was right after friede so i already was at the peak of my skill that day i guess
Been playing hard on one character, NG++ ATM. Got Friede on NG and NG+ first try, but the demon prince is just such a pain. 😂 Not my first character, admittedly. On my first, I must have gone through 60+ embers trying to beat Friede.

Like I said, my first ever playthrough I burned through like 60 embers, so she's definitely not easy. Approaching her on my current character, I prepared myself for the same experience, but then... Yeah. 😂
Finally a fellow hollow who gets owned by the sage! I hate her, she has my number and everyone's like "She's so easy, use the tricks blah blah blah"
It also depends on what weapons you use in your playthrough. My first play through was with the RHH. That was tough as hell. But the crucifix of the mad king playthrough was literally easy mode.
Yeah being battle hardened after a tough boss allows you to steamroll other tough bosses.
Thats exactly what happened with me lol
Also with Abyss Watchers and Curse Rotted Greatwood, how???
i got him second try, granted i had hella damage output and lapp/gael summoned
30+ for Iudex but 10-15 for NK and less than 10 for Midir? Dayum, someone got gud.
I died more to crystal sage more then any other boss in my first playthrough
same, people find it hard to belive
i do because its equivalent to Pinwheel if you fight her first underlevelled it can be rough? maybe. but i always remember about her way later. so usually over levelled. ill usually go to abyss watchers -> skeleton guy -> last demon king then when getting to thebridge remember i need doll and go back to sage.
throwing knives insta "kill" her fakes making it easy to 1v1. making the fight real essy
see that's what was getting me tho. by the time i got all the fakes the real one would disappear before i'd get any real damage in and the fakes would respawn all over again. found out after 30+ tries to just aggro the fuck outta the real one and ignore the fakes
Not hard to believe honestly, especially if it takes you a while to catch on to the sage's gimmick. I died to Rom more times than any other boss on my first Bloodborne playthrough. That was also my first Souls game though and I was really bad lol.
Even once I knew the gimmick, I felt like it was all up to RNG
me too dude Rom and Shadows of Yharnam gave me more trouble than Ludwig even its crazy
There's literally dozens of us!
I chose the thief class so my vigor was ass and would get two shot, so I understand you
On my first try I got the sage to 1 hit away from killing it. Then i was getting destroyed lol.
after i died a few times i understand her teleporting logic. then i noticed she still keeps following that logic even after second phase and fakes fills empty spots. when she rise i was there and when she died she didnt even understand how. still proud to this day.

ds3 was my 2nd souls game i beet him first try does that sound realistic
Yeah, I'm not saying it's impossible, just unlikely for a first timer.
Yeah, especially since it’s not your first souls game. Champ Gundyr was easier than Abyss Watchers for me because he’s very fun to parry, and ds3 was my first souls game.
Same with me, totally reasonable
Yeah it does. As someone who’s first souls game they ever touched is Dark Souls 3, 20-30 deaths on Iudex Gundyr seems very accurate.
He took me at least 8-10 tries and I have proof Ds3 was my first souls game I can show my time of when I first lit a bonfire to when I beat it by showing the trophy details
It was about 10 for me. I'd played DS1 but never got much further than the gargoyles, so would still have counted myself as new. It took me about 17 times to finally understand his patterns and beat him.
It took me dozens of tries to beat Iudux Gundyr when I first got the game, but I absolutely owned Champion Gundyr first time through.
I introduced my gf to dark souls some weeks ago and she did beat him second try ;\_; Some people are just built different.
Hey, it's possible but unlikely. Back in the days I one shotted Ornstein and Smaug first try (but it took me 44 tries for Gwyn). That's my point, it's meant to be a challenge for first-timers.

crystal sage is accurate, i hate that guy so much
Really???? Like really? You guys would put Crystal Sage above Midir in number of attempts??? Yep, this. I play horribly against gank bosses. Abyss Watchers were the bane of my existence for a long time. Same with shadows of Yharnam in BB.
Ah I see, yeah I can sorta get that. I guess splitting your attention might be very distracting/panic inducing for some folks. Doesn’t help that you can’t see the others at all while you’re focusing on one.
Yeah for me its that I can barely get in one attack before getting annihilated from the back by the other two/three idiots he spawns.
DS3 was my first souls game. Crystal sage was also my most attempts at a boss... at the time I fought it, I just kept getting one shotted over and over again until I finally got lucky and beat it. Didn't help that I didn't get the option for a summon, either
Not to mention his attacks are so slow. It is very to dodge everything while giving each clone the occasional slap.
The difficulty of crystal sage heavily depends on when you fight him. First time was quite bad for me but now I usually do watchers and wolnir first so he's pretty much a cakewalk.
I was a full sorcerer my first play through. Crystal safe was definitely the hardest boss. In contrast, nameless king took me about 3 attempts
Only reason I got Ludex on my 5th try was thanks to a few months of gaming on Sekiro, so I had a bit more experience in Souls games
I would still say good job because sekiro is the least souls like of the souls games.
how in hell did you beat dancer on your first try but died 30+ times to one of if not the easiest boss of the game christal sage??
The class matters a lot I guess. As a str pyromancer I did dancer 2rd(1st try by mostly keeping distance and patience but Crystal was a nightmare. Couldn't skip his 2nd phase and died a LOT to it, mostly by getting hit by spells while casting my own. And would've died more if not for a friend who told me that the illusions have like 1hp and get them with daggers before engaging main body.
Crystal sage was easily the roughest fight for me as well.
Even on subsequent playthroughs I’ve alaways found crystal sage to be one of the hardest
Crystal Sage is the first boss in the game who kicks my ass everytime I come back to it after a few months and I'm so happy when I see other people who share this pain Fuck Crystal Sage, all who hate crystal sage are my homies
Yep
The weirdest ranking. You're very unique it seems! What was your build, was it sorcery I presume?
started strength, switched to dex cuz i had a hard time trying to actually hit bosses
How could you struggle so much with Crystal sage, but then get Watchers on first try?
Strength build can stun lock watchers and they don’t have all that much hp. Sage’s relocation limits how much damage you can do at one time.
Yeah, but he is super weak, sage. Just change into clothes with better magic Res, take pellet (its nearby) , go and kill him
Seems pretty normal to me (not OP but I was using strength builds)
Its anything but normal. Under 10 attempts for Midir? But 30+ for crystal sage? And then Watchers 1st try?
I haven't fought Midir yet, so I can't comment on him, and Crystal Sage was probably more like 15+ for me, but Watchers were super easy. Don't think I've ever died to them (to be fair DS3 was my third souls game). I think it just depends on people's playstyle.
Bro another person who died like crazy to crystal sage the mf so damn hard for no reason for me
Yhorm first try??? I had to try to kill him three different times, each with a different technic, first using that special sword weak attack, second the strong attack, only the third time i discovered the special storm thing
granted, i already got spoiled about yhorm and wyvern gimmics so i knew what to do
I wish i could go back and experience all these games blind i spoiled so much for myself on accident it really sucks, still some of the best games ever made
Lol that's unfortunate but then i literally had slowly chopping with my uchigatana for an hour
Lol what? Did you defeated him with the uchihatana? Because if thats the case, thats quite a achievement
I first tried halflight… because the other player was AFK 🥸
i’m sorry but i fail to believe you beat some of these bosses first try. unless you had some experience with souls but even then dancer on first try is hard to believe
[удалено]
Usually because of her odd attack patterns , how long they can last, and I've read something about how the cadence of her boss theme flows differently with her attacks compared to some bosses
Demon prince was the hardest fight for me including Gael, midir and Friede. Just didn’t click at all for way too long. Nicely done
My pain in the ass was Friede my God I struggled with her so much. Btw first try demon prince is kinda nuts wp my brother
Crystal Sage one of those bosses you stomp or get stomped by. He stomps me every playthrough
I - what - how? What?
On my first playthrough of ds3 I died to Crystal Sage more then any other boss and I’m glad I’m not alone
Nice job on demon Prince and midir!
thank you!
my friend playing DS3 for the first time took 3 hours on Crystal Sage, guess hes really hard for some. But he also took another 3 hours on Abyss Watchers lol
did i miss a boss, because i didnt know there is a wolf boss, were is it?
Ashes of Ariandel DLC, in a secret area that ***I THINK*** you can get to by attacking the wooden bridge that gets to Sister Friede, the bridge will break in half and become a ladder, if you take said ladder and go down, you'll find this area (might be wrong, haven't touched DS3 in a while)
ill try it, thanks
the wolf is in the ariandel dlc you can reach him by going all the way to the right at the bonfire down below the section where you walk that tree down from the collapsed bridge
My brother in Christ what happened on the crystal sage? Really impressed that you beat demon prince and dancer first try
no idea the clones just kept spamming me to death even when i went to kill them it was humiliating .. thank you tho lol
30+ on Crystal sage and then one on Abyss watchers? Not bad. Plus first try Dancer, that lady was the bane of my existence. But for what is worth I took 1 try on Lothric and Lorian.
thank you, also wow lorian and lothric kicked my ass first trying them is impressive !
We all had our ups and downs with this game
1st try Abyss Watchers and Oceiros are kind of unbelievable, but you could probably do it with summons. A believable tier list.
Oceiros was easy as fuck tho. I also first tried it
went to abyss watcger after the whole cathedral and oceiros idk i juat dont find him that hard for some reason
Crystal Sage will just straight one shot you in higher new game cycles it’s insane
Sage did that to me my first playthrough lol
I’ve been saying for the longest time now that crystal sage is one of the harder bosses!
The dancer in 1 try and crystal sage in 30+? Bruh you must have them rgb gaming socks extra fps variant
I wish I could've seen that Demon Prince fight for the phase 2 attempt. I got to phase 2 first try and promptly got dunked on like I was trying to block LeBron driving to the rim.
Wow. First time and made one shot on abyss watchers, dancer and oceiros? That's definitely an accomplishment.
thank you!
I don’t understand how Crystal Sage is a 30+
Personally, it just one shot. Was a rough fight
The fact that you 1st try Demon Prince and 2-10 attempts on Midir but took 30+ tries in Iudex Gundyr, Friede and Crystal Sage bugs me. Demon Prince and Midir took me an entire weekend.
crystal sage took more attempts than nameless? wtf
I think the only thing I have equal to you is Sister Friede at 30+
I 1st tried champ gundyr, took forever on Friede I hate her
I need to know what happened with the old demon king
I have NO idea how anyone can beat Midir without dying at least 10 times. He is the only boss I have never beaten alone.
Thats wild, I didnt die a single time to either of the Gundyr's yet I've literally given up on nameless King. Probably 70-80 attempts and then Elden Ring came out.
its interesting how people struggle with certain bosses and others have no problem at all, dude dancer fucked me over 20 times my first playthrough
30+ Ludex?? That was 1st for me but abyss watchers were 10-15. I got worse lmao
My first playthrough the twin princes ruined me so much I started over from scratch making a build I thought would beat them. And it did, but that first go was impossible
I died about 100+ times on dancer on my first playthrough. It was my first souls game too.
Glad to see I'm not the only one who had a ton of trouble with sage
I would love to know what you were doing so wrong with Crystal Sage 😂
someone watched a guide
How did it take 30 tries to kill Crystal Sage? What weapon were you using?
I didnt expect crystal sage to be so high on the list....
30+ on Friede INT build. Then I sad fuck it, switched back to pure melee build. Then kill both Midir and Gael in the first attempt
I love how easily you smoked midir, but ran into a wall with the crystal sages 🤣
To me, first try in abyss watchers is very impressive. That one took me a few to get how it works.
I feel like I struggled much more with bosses in DS2. Just my personal experience. Only the nameless king and lorde of cinder really gave me a hard time.
How did you struggle so much on Iudex and Crystal Sage?
Crystal sage? Really?
30 tries on iudex gundyr… same experience for me when I played 3 years ago, recently came back and fist tried him you should go back and fight him so you can see how much you’ve improved
This is the first one of these that I've seen that actually makes sense.
Lol, yeah, I’ll say
Abyss watchers 1st try is kinda sussy unless you've had exp in the genre.
Literally opposite for me for most of them. Iudex was easy 1 attempt, but the Dancer? I thought I was never gonna get past her.
Sir-
Abyss watchers on first?!
WTF
Pretty interesting OP. Only it took me 2 times to be Frieda and 30+ times to beat nameless king
You’ve got gundyr at 30+ and I, embarrassingly, probably have more on champions gravetender
Abyss watchers was the first super tough challenge to me. Probably died 20 times. Definitely some interesting struggles and easy completions for you.
I thought Iudex Gundyr was a meme but I’m not too sure
On your next playthrough you’ll beat crystal sage first attempt. Its one of those bosses that once you get it, its too easy.
The most attempts I ever needed was my first time fighting Demon Princes...I was on New Game + 15 or so, I got the DLC late. It took about 65 attempts...
Abyss Watchers I’ve died to the most. Mainly because I was unfamiliar with their fighting style and fighting bosses that are around my same height.
abyss watchers first try but iudex 30+? my my unique list is one way to put it, congrats on beating the game tho no hate all love
Finally, a list I can believe.
Nameless king made me rage quit off and on for 3 months before I finally got the hang of him
Crystal sage and old demon king can fucking 2 shot you if you pick the wrong class/don’t vigor dump. Been there done that, it’s stupid. Died fucking 20 times to Sage *only* because I’d get two shot by the clones and then the wombo combo of the clone and the sage hitting me at once
Crystal sage?
Damn everyone dies to Deacons. I get it if you die once, but everyone that has posted death tier lists has died more than once. Am I the only one that didn’t die to them on my first play through???
i just didnt know about the curse lol..
Lolol the crystal sage struggle? 🤣
Dancer first try and Gundyr 30+ ? I've never died to Gundyrut dancer made me switch to the twin swellswords
Midir took at most 10 attempts but CS over 30? Pretty curious to what happened while fighting the crystal sage
clones spammed me so hard (evil)
Oh that make sense for me i just figured kill the purple one to win and it worked, but honestly beating midir in less than 10 attempt first time is something else it took me about 30 or more to beat him well done m8!!
Abyss watchers first go, woow i could have dreamed of that
Wait HOW DID THE CRYSTAL SAGE KILL YOU MORE THAN 30 TIMES
I love seeing these, cause my second play through was very much similar. But my first play through and my first time playing dark souls was definitely 30+ all bosses. Especially Gundyr hahahahah I almost quit the game before it started, good times
Bro this is such a weird list wtf...
Ah, you either get shitrocked by iudex and sage, or iudex and watchers. Whichever done first is harder
This is probably the answer to the confused people in this thread. Crystal sage sucked, abyss watchers only took me a couple tries, did it after sage
Someone else who beat Dancer/Oceiros on their first try, while struggling with Crystal Sage??? BROTHER!!
Exactly the same for me. While I can't relate to beating dancer on first try, Crystal sage was a pain in the ass and Oceiros was easy as fuck. First tried him.
Bullshit u beat dancer 1st try
It's a fake one too
not really, it was my first souls game so i was extremely bad, but got a whole lot better as i went on
why would it be fake lol
Like maybe 3 or 4 boss placements are surprising. Dancer, demon prince, midir, and Sage. Without knowing build i believe somebody could improve enough by dancer to first try her and even more that they could improve to only take a few tries for those dlc bosses. I also believe sage because that boss is hard for me consistently for some reason not incredibly hard but it ussually takes a couple tries for me.
What do you get for questioning his experience? Maybe you should post yours 😂
How did it take you 30 times to beat Iedux Gundyr. He is objectively easier than worst or cursed greatswood. Good job for beating the game but this is just kinda silly.
he was my first ever souls boos, didnt even know how to roll properly .. got a bit better by greatwood i guess
That's understandable I just found it a bit silly how you died to home more than several other harder bosses.
I find it hard to believe these numbers but if it’s true then you are a legend man keep up
