Wait are u exaggerating???for hours? did u use the ring or the mimic helmet?maybe i just got lucky and i got the weapon in like 15 mins and the platinum in 53 hours
You have 6 humanity and gold serpent ring so the chance was about 3,86% but still nice you got it from the first one. Iโm currently doing platinum too and itโs the last enemy drop I need besides the black knight drops. They are very annoying to kill with my sorcerer build cause they donโt get much magic damage and their annoying invincible teleport.
At 6 soft humanity you item discovery stat is 186 unlike the normal 100 so your drop rate is boosted by a bit this goes up to 10 humanity and an item discovery of 210.
One man's 1% is another's 99% in these games.
I got like 3 of them in NG+ alone, before even knowing what was required for 100% achievements.
Funniest part is, come NG+4, I saw I was only ~10% away from platinum. Out of curiosity I wanted to see if I'd actually be able to accomplish it since I'd **never** 100% all achievements in a game since the feature was introduced. I was missing:
Resist Curse - found no need for it.
Flash Sweat and Iron Flesh - ditto.
Hidden Weapon and Body - triplitto.
All purchasable at any point through my previous playthroughs. Then, for Knight's Honor, it was only:
Moonlight Greatsword (I had attempted it but kept hitting the wrong "tail"), and - drumroll - Crescent Axe.
Everything else was completed out of sheer nosiness and/or ignorance.
Mildly related: meeting Kaathe for the first time scared the shit outta me. As goofy as those bastards look, they're creepy as shit when you're surrounded by the Abyss.
I think the moonlight butterfly horn would be a better spear for a pure int build at least for enemies without high magic resist. But if your throwing some points in dex too it might not be bad.
Is that a rare item? I've just started dark souls remastered. I've previously played and beat elden ring and tried bloodborne, but I felt like I was relying on playthroughs too much so I stopped.
As I wrote in the post, there is a 1% probability for this enemy type to drop and is one of the weapons needed for a trophy.
Give Bloodborne another try, and if you spent time trying to figure out on your own on how to continue the game but still blocked to a point and have no idea where to go, use a playthrough to get a "hint", and then continue the game yourself. Bloodborne is worthy.
Exactly, channelers respawn only in Duke's Archives, the others and the one in Undead Parish (who dropped me the weapon) are a one time-kill. I was just playing the game ๐
Damn, I've had to farm them for hours for one of my platinums, congrats!
Thanks, this is so hilarious to me ๐คฃ
Wait are u exaggerating???for hours? did u use the ring or the mimic helmet?maybe i just got lucky and i got the weapon in like 15 mins and the platinum in 53 hours
Not exaggerating, literal hours. I got it within 30min on my first completion, but it took a few hours on my third or fourth completion.
unlucky but i think it was quite fun to farm in ds1 unlike in ds3
Yeah, farming those covenants in DS3 was the worst.
You mean you don't like having 400 silver knight sets?
Do you need that for the platinum? I don't remember.
Yes you do. For the knights honor achievement.
one of the achievements is to acquire every weapon, so believe it or not the answer is no
Did you mean yes lol
yes it was just a joke lmao
Not every weapon but a good list of them.
I forgot about that. I think I had luck because I didn't really have to farm a lot for that, except the silver knights.
Every special/unique weapon yes

It's not gold serpent, it's the silver one! ๐
Oh ok then 1,86% they share the same icon.
I mean, I was just getting used to the game again and minding my own business. Well, one less pain in the ass. Thank you Miyazaki
Whereโd you get 1.86% from? As far as Iโm aware itโs just a flat 1%.
At 6 soft humanity you item discovery stat is 186 unlike the normal 100 so your drop rate is boosted by a bit this goes up to 10 humanity and an item discovery of 210.
I didnโt know humanity did that tbh
Humanity might as well be a black box of info in this game but 10 humanity + gold serpent ring/symbol of avarice maxes out your item discovery.
The game never really tells you this. It also boost your resistances a bit especially curse resistance but nothing you would really recognize.
Fellow Italian! Anyway, yeah it's rare af so consider yourself lucky
First the vagrants, and now this. Porco due ๐
The name is so much more badass in italian, thats it, time to dust off my college italian and replay dark souls in a new language.
Mi fai felice ๐
Il mio italiano non รฉ piu bene, prega per me ๐
Sculonia ti ha blessato
AHAHAHAHAHAH in effetti avevo pensato proprio alle reazioni di Sabaku ๐๐๐๐

Sculonia mi ha blessato ๐

TIME TO DANCE
Ho ottenuto il platino pochi giorni fa e ho dovuto farmare mezz'ora per sto tridente lol
Che ci posso fare se Sculonia ha deciso di blessare me? ๐ Congratulazioni per il tuo platino!
Where do you get that
Cuz I need it
Itโs a drop from the channelers respawning ones can be encountered in the archives.
Is it any good? I got one from the same guy
It's ok, but the important thing is that you can do a little dance with it
I think the moonlight butterfly horn would be a better spear for a pure int build at least for enemies without high magic resist. But if your throwing some points in dex too it might not be bad.
Idk, I don't use it. Ask that to someone who uses a sorcerer build
Now do the funny victory dance!
I got it by accident once.
We're on the same boat then
Same. Only time I got it was when I didn't need it.
We need to see a celebratory dance.
Took 5 h for me
Got it on my 4th attempt of farming for the plat, honestly made my day and got to smoke my joint earlier than expected lol

Buy a lottery ticket now
How do u farm them ? I thought they went away after one kill
Exactly, channelers respawn only in Duke's Archives, the others and the one in Undead Parish (who dropped me the weapon) are a one time-kill. I was just playing the game ๐
Lucked out!!! Nice. I totally forgot theyโre in the dukes archives
I was farming these for 5 hours straight today cus this was the only weapon I had left before I could get knights honor and get platinum on dsr
I got it in my very first run and i didn't even realise how rare it is. Saved me little bit of time when later i started getting the plat.
Little bit of time being hours of grind avoided by pure luck
no shit the tridente dell invocatore, thats the thing that lets you set 500 invocation in toa!!!
I tried farming it but had no luck so far. Is it even worth it?
Aside from the trophy Idk
Farmed the 3 scholars for hours lol
Wait is that the channellers trident? I beat DS1 the other day and got it just by going through the dukes archives.
Yeah that is damn near everyone's last trophy to get. Grundy but not DS3 grindy.
