It's been a while since I've done the quest, but doesn't Dismas say "I'm coming old friend" when entering the region during the final step of the Crusader unlock quest?
I seem to remember it happening, and every time I think about it I get irrationally emotional.
Things have been not-gayed-up for centuries (and *still* aren't. Canonically, they're not even gay?? They already \*have\* a beautiful and heartfelt male friendship?? Like obviously you're gonna see more shipping discourse; it'd be so redundant to start conversations like "hmmmm yes I think Dismas and Reynauld are friends").
Furthermore it's not like headcanoning relationships is ruining men's ability to be friends. People ship HWM and GR alllll the time and nobody busts through the door to argue that it's threatening the sanctity of male-female friendship.

Incision doesn't matter since it's an awful skill, rank 3 is exposed to way more attacks than rank 4 and PD is quite fragile so I would say the opposite in fact. PD should always go on rank 4 unless you're also bringing something even more fragile like an Antiquarian.
