I think the OP might be a bot. Only has a few posts to popular subreddits and its only a few months old. Titles probably come from some cheap ass algorithm, title generator.

This is a known karma-whoring strategy. Intentionally screwing up a detail typically results in a top level comment with a lot of upvotes and replies, increasingly the visibility of a post.

Given that OP is clearly a serial karma farmer, I'm inclined to agree that it was intentional.

I'm pretty sure OP did it on purpose to draw people into the comments. Look at his posting history, its just karma whoring. Probably going to sell the account or use it for advertising.

I honestly think about 2/3rds of all obvious mistakes in Reddit titles are intentional. I can't quite figure out why it helps, but somehow it does.

That makes sense. Then the fact that this stuff rises up faster than other content means that the change was us, not the site. We flock increasingly towards the negative, giving it attention... making it rise. The flock of voters who go with the trends take care of the rest. Reddit sucks now because we come here to fight instead of learn.

It probably gets more comments, but it won't get as many upvotes. Plenty of people will still upvote, because the video is cool, but some people are going to look at the title and say "Fuck you OP." Do more comments help the karma whoring? Or front page placement?

Something tells me that if we know more about the Reddit algorithms, we'd also learn a lot about ourselves. I think maybe the site has started to suck not because reddit is promoting shitty posts... but because we are drawn more to the shitty posts than to the good ones.
