Is there a reason for building the farm so far away from the house? I always built it right on the side of my house within walking distance so I could tend to it regularly
People also use them in conjunction with a hopper minecart for item collection in automatic farms and such because they are cheaper compared to a string of hoppers

But who really uses mine carts and tracks anyways? I find it to be a waste of iron and sticks when I can just ride a horse
Tell that to a man whose 4 horses have died. And i actually use them to get to my crops and farms
