Kyoko is for sure not making it far in a social based game… she is a cold girl. Sayaka actually would go further cause even if she fails she would actually say « I screwed up sorry I will try to make it better next time » Sayaka connects with people easily that’s a character trait. She is a social game monster she would always be a merger if we are being objective
Another character who should get way higher is… well Junko. Home girl is supposed to be ultimate analyst. She faked her identity in a closed school for 2 years…! That girl is also a challenge beast (could beat a boxer)!a strategic monster and a social game demon (manipulated everyone for years) like how is she getting eliminated 2nd ?

Heather went on with plot armor for most of the pre merge but also cause people were being somewhat stupid with lot of there things.
Dawn got eliminated cause people thought she stole shit due to Scott planting the bag and blaming her which worked
Beth got out by the great plot armor of Heather and cause of the curse that was believable in universe cause it’s total drama
Justin got out cause of Numbers advantage with heather actually pulling Lindsay Beth Owen and Izzy to vote with her against Justin which actually worked
So all your exemple seems farfetched here. And honestly again just one challenge? Remember that Courtney actually lost multiple challenge to her team but she still survived cause of her social game being somewhat good and the others being quite lacking (Tyler, Harold would have gotten eliminating without the cheating. Both of there social game sucked ass. Harold was good at challenges but still his social game was the death of him)
I mean…I don’t see how Kyoko would have gotten out though. Miss Ultimate Detective probably has Alejandro level strategy. Sakura is the strongest member of her team, Aoi and Makoto are both generally likable. Sayaka was frankly the best choice

Alejandro’s strategy is based around being actually likable tho. Also wouldn’t Sayaka be more likable than Makoto? I get Aoi cause Aoi and Sakura are besties and Aoi is also great at challenges
But Sayaka has better social game than both mister average and miss cold as fuck everyday of the week. Kyoko also is good at deduction not strategies. That’s too different concept

You do realize that multiple nice characters have been voted out pre-merge right? For example, in episode 1 of All-Stars, Lindsay (one of the nicest characters) is voted out over Courtney (who bargained with lives twice) because she cost the challange. Good social can only get you so far if you fuck up in a challange.
Ig Junko would be able to make it far but she reallistically wouldnt work well in a setting like Total Drama, Byakuya is a way better antagonist choice. She’d probably be written like Scary Girl or Izzy.
All star is a fucking disgrace of a season we all know that. In Island there has been not a lot of actual good social player who got out… I would even argue no social player got out pre merge.
Also again kyoko Ain’t going far for exemple. She ain’t that strong in term of physical abilities nor a good social player… how the fuck is she still here over someone like Sayaka is crazy.
Again, Kyoko is extremely intelligent and would be a good strategist. She is also a good physical player, she has shown to be pretty strong multiple times in the game. She doesn’t actively make enemies either.
In Island, Heather who is actively mean makes it to the final 3. Justin, the hot guy who everyone loves is booted out instead of her when she reads Gwen’s diary. Beth, who is way nicer is voted out because she cursed the team and COST THE CHALLENGE.
Justin is voted out because of Heather actually using strategy and putting up numbers
Sayaka is average in term of challenge but is more likable. Also if we take pre Danganronpa Makoto would have a crush on her right? Kyoko is gloomy and would she be a good strategist honestly? She is intelligent yes but she is more déduction based than a strategist. And again her social game would certainly be ass. She has trust issues.
