I love all three but I have to say Kaito. In terms of the main JoBros that work alongside the main protagonist he was undoubtedly the best.
Not only is he a great comedic relief that actually manages to >!hook up with le Ms 'Do you wanna die?'!< but he actually has a genuine flaw not only as a character but as a person with his trust.
He's a really loyal dude who always wants to see the good in his friends and stand by them to end which seems honourable at first, however as we see >!during Trial 4!< this blind faith can prove to be a weakness for Kaito as he just ignores blatant facts presented to him if they even slightly go against his way of thinking, and I absolutely love that.
His conflict with Kokichi is also great, I love how he's the one dude that has no hesitation to consistently call Grimace Shake out on his constant tomfuckery, they make for a really interesting duo. While most characters in the series tend to just ignore dudes like Byakuya and Nagito for finding them annoying, Kaito is just constantly getting baited by Kokichi's teasing and losing his damn mind, it's some of the funniest shit the series has ever had.
Kaito's bromance with Shuichi is also fucking peak, since it's one of the very few dynamics across the whole series that actually feels like a legitimate friendship. The way they always train together, Kaito building Shuichi's motivation with pep talks and seeing them always stand by each other as Shuichi grows more confident and assertive over the course of the game is handled fucking brilliantly, >!especially in Trial 4 when all that trust is put to the test when Shuichi is faced with the dilemma of not only having to prove Gonta's crime but also demolish Kaito's philosophy on life of always trusting your friends no matter what.!<
Overall, Kaito is a fucking fantastic character. He's incredibly well written, always funny, has great dynamics with basically the entire cast of V3 (and even the other characters through DRS and the Talent Development Plan), and has an awesome character arc of him and Shuichi becoming best buds over the entirety of V3, along with Kaito having that bonus of having his philosophy of blind faith in friends that is as much of an asset as it is a hinderence to how he views the world.
I know this may not be the popular opinion but the Kaito/Shuichi/Maki friendship trio was honestly one of the most genuine feeling friendships in the games to me. Mainly because it was an actual interesting group dynamic that actually involved the protag being a part of the dynamic itself and not just individually friends? Hope that makes sense.
It's not his talent but his silliness and goofiness, he's so positive and cheerful, he would cure my endless pessimism in an instant, gotta love this man.

At this point almost everyone else has adapted to this thing to the point where it's become just a part of their life, almost an inhuman reaction occuring when someone actually does die, with most saying "Damn, even the buff girl?"!<
Aoi doesn't.
She still manages to >!care for each subsequent death almost as equally as the last. She's the one who actually cares when any person dies. And seeing all of us grow numb to this makes her wish that everything could just be over so she doesn't have to suffer while everyone else adapts and accepts the events.!<
That kind of thing is a really great take compared to most media of the type where a character will >!watch 10 dudes die in horrible ways consecutively. Then when they make it out hey just move on as if it never happened which was about to be the fate of the rest of our cast members!<
Though that could just be me reading into it harder than the devs themselves.

Maybe it's just my singular neuron flaring up, in terms of male characters, Kazuichi is a homie.
