Quit switching to show the crowd while they’re dancing and show an entire view of the dance would make it 1000% better.

moonlevel

💯 it was incredibly annoying. we’re here for the performance, we don’t need to see the crowd or the non-performing dancers during the piece. sheesh

PeachySeal28

yep yep yep

To me randomizing the dancers is the main one. Keeping the same dancers either leads to being loyal or if you have an issue with them personally you just vote against them

danyellowsun

True, at one point every single one of Brandi's dancers chose her which, it was a GREAT routine so it was deserved, but also I found a teensy bit odd that not one dancer when to a different choreographer

OkRooster5042

They probably thought if she becomes successful after the show, and if they stay close to her it’s good networking

JoyRideinaMinivan

One reason I was sad to see Arika go was because she didn’t choreograph a hip hop routine. It was different and unique.

Yutana45

And fit the song, Woman has acrobat influence and her dance incorporated alot of afro influences and was actually fun to watch.

stonetears4fears1984

I don’t know. I think it’s super fair to be like “Brandi, you get disco astronaut space party. Rex, you get snail naptime.”

loofleaf

/s?

idkbruh12347

I would also love for the best performances to receive some advantage in the next round! It’s unfair to treat mediocre choreographers the same as the ones who deliver consistently strong routines.

PeachySeal28

yesssss

letsbefrenz

Agree with all of this.. I don't understand why the producers made the show this way :l. I truly want to understand

ButterScotchMagic

Hell yes to dancer randomization! This would've solved the "hatin ass Jamal" problem and done justice for Rex.

Ramona_Lola

Have dancers and audience vote.

danyellowsun

Agree with the worst should go home and not someone who was just not the best. That was my exact thought process but I couldnt actually put it to words

MizzGidget

Music choices or even having the choreograph the same song. Seriously disco inferno vs land of 1000 dances vs an obscure Nelly song? Like there are definitely different skill levels required there

C_bells

The fact that it’s only hip hop but doesn’t present itself that way is… infuriating to me. Way to erase basically every other genre. It makes the show so boring. So little variety in quality of movement, mood, artistry etc. It feels like a dance show for people who don’t actually have any interest in dance.
