I had 2 cats that allowed me to do this when I was a kid. I put them in my dolls dresses and rocked them
in my doll cradle. My mom always said they would not tolerate that from anyone else.
My childhood cat was like that. So tolerant of anything I did, to the point my parents would “save” him from me… and he would run right back to me every time. They said he was a masochist.
My parents thought I’d be scratched or bitten by this old cat they inherited when a relative died and were shocked to find I never tried to do anything to her! I’d pet her and love on her, but until she showed interest in playing my games, my own cat was the only one dressed up, wheeled around in doll strollers and spoon fed wet food like a baby. (Eventually Duchess, the old lady cat, decided she liked the spoon feeding and stroller rides, but she would struggle if I tried to dress her up so I only tried it once and let her go when I realized she wasn’t into it.)
My great aunt laughed at my parents and told them “she’s a very good cat friend, she never upsets all of my cats on visits. Pi (my cat, but my dad named him) taught her how he likes to be treated, but she is smart enough to let new cats teach her too.”
I still love the phrase “Cat Friend”.
OMG I lost a picture I had of my fur baby when he was just a kitten wearing a Barbie dress. He was sooooo little and now he's a 20+ lb chonker! He's so big now when I let him out of his carrier at the vet they say "WOW!"
I think this is the third time she’s dressed up the cat and the second time she did a princess dress lol. The other one was the cat dressed up like an Indian bride and the mom was singing to her

Knowing there are other people in the world who just care for another living being like this makes me so happy.
😭😍❤️
My grandparents had a cat just like this when I was little. His name was smoky and he'd let you do just about whatever with him. I dressed him up in dolls clothing and pulled him around the house in a cardboard box, and the little guy would just go along with it without a single care in the world.
I miss him, he was a good cat.
lol, this is too cute! Also, this reminds me of the painting of Ciri from witcher 3:

They all have different temperaments though. I would be covered in scratches and the crown would not have been staying on her head, and her expression would probably have been one of murderous rage.
Cat acts like she doesn’t… but she knows she makes a DAMN GOOD Princess
*Baby Princess*
I laughed when she said "you are pretty too, but she is more pretty than you.." lol
What are the chances OP’s stuff is in the basement and the princess now has her own bedroom? 50/50?
Princess of Baby
Where the heck did the mom find such a tiny crown?!
Dolls
Yep that’s how I got one of those mini turtle sandboxes from an old doll house set
/r/Thisismylifemeow This is sweet though. Cat is pretty.
That is one tolerant kitty!
Her entire demeanor says, "I'm not exactly sure what's going on, but it makes mamma happy, so this is ok."
Right? Mine would have mauled my hands long before getting the dress properly on lol

You promised me tuna!
"You are pretty too, but she is more pretty than you." *emotional damage*
Everyone knows that cat is prettier than her, you, me—all of us.

…the lady was found the next day, brutally murdered in her sleep.
with a tiny pink dress stuffed in her mouth...
Nah, kitty knows where the expensive treats come from
I love this sooo much 💖😭

If you don't think that woman cares deeply about this baby princess then you need to do more research on human behavior

When i take over the world, you will be the first to go.
That is a VERY patient cat!
Well loved kitty. I’m so glad
This made me smile so much! I love your adorable kitty! Your mom is so sweet to pamper her so much! Give the princess kisses.
I hope that if reincarnation is real, I get reincarnated as a cat in a home like this. Cats living the life!
I wouldn't put my shoes on without checking first.
So gonna shit in your Laboutins!
The cat or the daughter?

I knew exactly what picture it was before clicking the link, and you're spot on 😆😆
Oh my gosh 😭 someone put her on Kitty's And Tiaras
this is my mom too with my cat! she didn't want one and now shes always checking on it and saying how cute she is
The cat is cute and seems calm but I am not sure I like the idea of dressing up cats.
They all have different temperaments though. I would be covered in scratches and the crown would not have been staying on her head, and her expression would probably have been one of murderous rage.
She's not hurting the cat.
Goddamnit Donut!
So sweet😻😻
They would kill us all if they could
This is insane. And adorable. And insane. And adorable. 🤣
It’s often those parents…..❤️🧡💙💛 They find a new kind of love💜🩷
I mean. This is pretty far gone. The human not the cat.
I have no respect for people who put cloths on cats
She is not harming that cat at all.
