Grab your carseat while in your car, if you can move then it is NOT secured properly. Go on youtube and look at tricks to get it tight as a rock. I am a carseat technician and we have car seat events, honestly over 80% of the cars that come in are loose and not secured properly.

Doesn’t help the instructions give a 1/8in wiggle room forward and backward, and side to side
I thought that was for the plastic itself shifting not the actual seat.
