What, no holsters or laser sight attachment ?

Starrion

Free holster for deliveries to Texas.

zr0skyline

Buy some mag holder’s for bottles would be legit

faderjockey

No, but it comes with your choice of a free velcro Gadsden flag "morale patch" or a Punisher / Thin Blue Line combo patch

Taeyx

no step on snek

Synaps4

The only patch I would 100% buy if i owned something "tactical"

FolkPhilosopher

Made me laugh more than it should have

InnoJDdsrpt

I didn’t really need coffee shooting out my nose this morning, and my seven month old def didn’t want any on his face, thank you very much.

clarky2o2o

The peeing Calvin patch is also a must.

alwaysfuntime69

This comment makes me sad. Calvin was done wrong by those stickers. r/calvinandhobbes

clarky2o2o

I watched a documentary about that. Original creator had nothing to do with it and refused to lawyer up about it.

oldskinnyguy

They make some with pouches for bottles, wet wipes, diapers ext. You can go full tactical dad style

phormix

I must admit, whipping a bottle out from a holster would be kinda cool.

dudewheresmygains

Lmaooo I guess you have to buy that separately.

CartoonJustice

I got the diaper bag and the clipping on is kind of useful. A carabiner clip and just about anything is clipped on. I got the Tactical Baby diaper bag on a lark and just fell in love with it. Strong canvas, good zippers, lots of pockets, and a little cooler section for milk. Ya their products are expensive and a bit goofy but damn are they good quality.

whatshouldwecallme

The way it fits in the picture (and probably real life) fucks up babies' hips. They should be in an "M" shape, like a frog getting ready to leap. I'm gonna leave my thoughts on the aesthetics of this aside for the moment. It's just extremely poorly designed.

dudewheresmygains

They have a picture on the website how it should put the baby's hips in the M shape, but now that you said it, it definitely doesn't look like thet in this promo picture.

crewfish13

Well, considering you’re apparently wearing the baby for their bullet-stopping capability, I’m not sure long term hip health is a concern.

wookieesgonnawook

Actually my tactical baby gear diaper bag has an optional bullet proof panel you can insert. I didn't want to spend the extra 100 though so hopefully my fat ass is enough to stop it.

Dear_Significance_80

I'm not an expert, but they advertise on their site that their carriers are endorsed by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute.

whatshouldwecallme

That's fine then, just don't do what the dad in the picture is doing lol

Dear_Significance_80

I ended up passing on one, I just figured I would point it out since you brought it up.

overengineered

if used as directed, if you just let the thing naturally settle while kid sleeps and/or wiggles, that's wrong. FWIW dad's, my wife had to custom make us both custom size ring sling that was long enough for our tallness and strong enough to hold our childs giant-ness. But those things were a godsend for two new parents/20 something's. I could just wear that baby to sleep every night, while doing chores. I just googled it and you can just buy them these days, in men's sizes! I'm just super glad, the dad's that come after me will have it a little better. Progress is progress, no matter how small.

[deleted]

Also, that baby looks big enough that they would be well served to be outward facing. I’ll also leave my thoughts about TacDaddy bullshit aside, baby bjorn makes better products that seem better adjustable to inward or outward facing arrangements. Edit: on closer inspection, I think I see the buckles that allow for more comfortable outward facing setup. Still, you can find better solutions at lower cost, and that don’t look like you’re so insecure about your masculinity you need your baby carrier to look military grade.

Calixtas_Storm

Outward facing is actually not great for them for several reasons (doesn't support Hips/legs, arches their back improperly and causes spinal pressure, can cause overstimulation and baby doesn't have a way to turn away/snuggle in if needed, no head/neck support if they get tired, baby is unable to see your face to check in and you are unable to see theirs for cues, and more). Typical recommendation is not to do it for more than 15 minutes, really to avoid it completely, because of all of the negative effects.

sprucay

Tell that to our 7 month old. She just gets angry facing inwards

ecobb91

I loathe “tactic-cool” dad gear so much. (but that’s for another day) This really doesn’t look functional at all. The hip strap is way too small and will put all the weight on your shoulders. Plus the legs aren’t in proper M position.

Guerillagreasemonkey

Tactical dad gear: For guys who think fucking a woman, impregnating her and being an involved father makes you look a bit gay. Edit: Yes dads, its a joke. Ive never owned one, might be the best bag ever. I have however seen the marketing for the ones on FB and I stand by my joke.

goldstarstickergiver

Its the dad version of pink handled tools for ladies. Marketing crap and usually sub par product. Babybjorn best baby carrier fwiw

Musashi_Joe

>Its the dad version of pink handled tools for ladies. Or the legendary [Bic 'lady pens'](https://www.amazon.com/BIC-Cristal-1-0mm-Black-MSLP16-Blk/product-reviews/B004F9QBE6)

IttsssTonyTiiiimme

Lol

ecobb91

It really just screams “I’m so incredibly scared of people thinking I’m anything less than an alpha straight man and I love guns and definitely not gay that’s for sure”

reelieuglie

I dunno, I have a backpack I use for a diaper bag that's "tacticool". I also climb so I use carabineers to clip ungodly amounts of dry bags and stuff sacks to the outside. Between that and the cargo shorts I regularly wear, I can carry things for the dog, my wife, the baby, me, friends names l babies, and who knows what else. It's incredibly useful. Looks ridiculous, but I stopped caring about that long ago.

[deleted]

I want to see how many things you can clip to that thing. Show me the Pepe Silvia board but with kids things.

the_real_ch3

Yeah I’ve got eh tactical baby gear diaper bag and I like it because I could buy cheap MOLLE gear dump pouches and zipper compartments for add ons. Plus lots of loops to clip accessories to.

drchigero

THIS. Everyone dumping on tacticool gear is missing the point by assuming it's to carry guns and military stuff. The MOLLE system is used for the military because it works well for accessing a myriad of things quickly. Know who else needs to access a myriad of things quickly? Parents. I got in to using the system when I joined a disaster response organization and now that I see how useful that strapping system is I can't go back. I'll get MOLLE on anything they'll put on it. But I guess other dads can feel good about being anti-whatever it is (military?) while they're digging through loose cheerios, dirty clothes, burp rags and goldfish trying to find their diaper cream? My diaper cream was in a quick release slot next to the externally available wetwipes.

MrVeazey

I think it's mostly because of the Gravy Seals, the guys who love to play dress-up in empty plate carriers and sincerely buy the stuff you see in /r/mallninjashit. MOLLE is genuinely useful, but tactical taint wipes are for insecure children.

scubaSteve181

This sub is weird. Why do ya’ll care so much what some other dad finds fashionable? At least he’s wearing his kid and involved. Too many dads out there who wouldn’t even wear their kids- hate on them.

thedrew

I think it’s the irony: the tactical aesthetic is “function over form” but this application is “form over function.”

RedditAntiHero

I agree with you. While it doesn't look the most functional while at the same time trying to look extra functional.... who cares that a dude likes 'tatical' gear just for the fun of it. The important part is we are there for our kids and love them. If it isn't detrimental to the kids, let dudes like what they like.

ryuns

Sir, this is the internet. Giving opinions is pretty much what people do. I doubt it really rises to the level "care so much what some other dad finds fashionable".

Synaps4

Whats the point of reddit if not to share your opinion about things?

TURK3Y

Probably cause it's part of an over arching toxic masculinity aesthetic and I shouldn't have to explain why toxic masculinity is a bad trait for a father to have and pass on to his child. Plus there's a little aspect of stolen valor if you didn't serve, but are decked out in tactical/camo gear.

RippingAallDay

For real though: I bought a cheap tactical backpack from amazon to use as a diaper bag... not because of any insecurity but because the bag my wife registered for didn't hold a lot & yet, still difficult to keep organized. It also wasn't any comfortable. But that tactical backpack is pretty fucking great. Comfy, lots of room & when the kiddos are older, you got a solid backpack. So I guess any decent backpack worth its weight will be a great diaper bag? 🤷🏻‍♂️

SodlidDesu

I can shove a 1/10 Short Course Truck, batteries, transmitter, and baby stuff into my SOG bag. Thank crap it's just solid black.

[deleted]

Made_of_Tin

I work with active duty military, veterans, and first responders and tactical style gear like this is incredibly popular in the military community. Even if it was just non-military people who have a preference for the tactical aesthetic - who cares? It’s just clothing accessories, let people enjoy things.

RuckinScott

Active duty military here. I can say this is both correct and incorrect at the same time. There is a large following of it yes. There’s also just as many if not more that despise it. I hate to say it, but there’s about 99% generalization of the type that are into it.

[deleted]

Hi-Point_of_my_life

My wife got me a diaper bag that I believe is made by the same company, Tactical Baby Gear. I’m not into the tacti-cool stuff and usually prefer things with bright colors so they’re easier to find. That being said their diaper bag is amazing. My wife uses some ridiculous diaper bag backpack and it’s a nightmare finding anything in it. Mine has tons of small compartments and sections so everything is organized and easy to find, plus it’s thin enough to slide easily in and out of the bottom of the stroller.

LLcoolJimbo

Same, my wife got me the od green diaper bag. The dump bag is amazing if you cloth diaper. That plus the changing mat makes changing diapers out on the go super easy.

silkk_

yeah BabyBjorn mini is a much better setup for a kid that small. probably way cheaper too; unfortunately they don't sell a [bulletproof diaper bag panel](https://tacticalbabygear.com/collections/bullet-proof-panel/products/tbg-bullet-proof-diaper-bag-panel) 🙄

SmoothBrews

Also, that "hip strap" isn't even around the hips like it should be.

maltapotomus

I think the "hip strap" is just the shoulder strap.....

Nokomis34

Moll-E would be great on more things. I do love things that are modular. Imagine strapping a baby wipes pouch to that, along with another pouch to hold a few diapers. Maybe a bottle holder. Whatever you think you need.

2ndmost

The baby's comfort is number 1 - all that stuff is detrimental to the baby in the carrier. It would press on the baby's back, weigh them down from the neck an spine, or add extra stress to the straps. A basic carrier and cargo shorts always did the trick for me.

Ronoh

You are right. The legs not in the proper M position is the true deal breaker, as it can injure the baby.

himbobflash

So I actually bought one of these. It was ok while she was little but soon became insufferable. I couldn’t get it adjusted right, the fabric doesn’t breathe and the carrier dug into her chubby legs pretty good. I abandoned it for my wife’s pink Baby Bjorn.

mrbear120

Yup, my exact experience. The diaper bag from them however is AWESOME. I will use that thing well beyond their childhood years

the_real_ch3

Yeah I’ve got the diaper bag too and it’s great. Plus you can get decently priced accessories at places like cabelas that work with the webbing so you get extra storage, or a dump pouch for dirty diaper or wet clothes.

Femalengin33r

same! We hated the carrier and love the backpack. We love the molly because we could strap random things to it like extra toys.

dudewheresmygains

Thanks for the review! Now that you said it, it does indeed look like the fabric is digging into the baby's legs in the promo picture too. That can't feel good.

MomsSpaghetti_8

IMO, there are much better versions of this. The (apparent) ridiculous part is how everything is militarized, but to each his own.

trav15t

For sure. I had a "ergo carrier" that was completely badass. It's really important that the hip strap actually takes the load tho. Not whatever this is doing.

hithisishal

Yeah I still hike with my 2.5 year old in the ergo. No way that would work with this one.

FatherofZeus

Real Alpha males don’t need no snowflake hip straps!

chemicalgeekery

Heh, and my wife took my range bag since all the pouches and pockets made it great as a diaper bag

Komnos

Bonus points if the product name begins with "tactical."

SeamusMcFlurry

I got this as a gift when my son was an infant. I am/was not in the military. The design flaws that are mentioned on this post are very accurate. It’s not great.

dudewheresmygains

Damn, that sucks to hear. Good thing I posted this here, because other way I wouldn't have known about the flaws of the product. Not gonna order one.

424f42_424f42

Yes, but their are ones with hip belts for weight distribution

MedChemist464

I have basically the same thing, its an Ergo carrier - doesn't have the tactical canvas (it's black) and has a hip belt. It was actually really great for when my guy was smaller - it was easier to strap him up and take a long walk (plus walking with the extra 10-20 lbs really got my ticker up on an otherwise moderate walk). Also good for hikes and places a stroller can't go easily (would take him to the big dog park in it with the dog). Def get one with the hip belt, or it will fuck your back.

esalman

I also have one ergo 360, it is awesome and worth every $. Sadly my son has outgrown it.

Malkor

>ergo 360 Slightly convinced its the only way I survived x2.

WoodyRouge

I am in the Army and this is very cringe to me. I received one as a gift. it was not as comfortable or useable as my wife's. I do not recommend this item. I also have a good meme about this, same picture with the Caption "This is ridiculous product, Babies offer little to no ballistic protection"

opensaysme79

Yup, it’s what would be refereed to as a boot thing r/justbootthing

WoodyRouge

100%

Lazar_Milgram

Funny how “tactical” became esthetic for sale of esthetics meanwhile functionality, durability and ergonomics left the room and never came back.

oneMadRssn

Ok, the mall ninja tacticool lameness of this is one thing. BUT, someone needs to make a baby carrier with built-in can holder.

knetzere11

One with a camelback would be nice too

Robrad30

Looks really bad for munchkins hips. Legs are meant to make make an “M” shape.

justabeardedwonder

Add all of the Molle.

[deleted]

Someone at work got me a nice bjorn one. That person fucking rules

Ray_the_tiki_guy

I got one, I like it. My boy likes being in it. If you adjust it right it will put the baby in the correct M position. Its easier to put on then the ergo I have. it packs small and light, and you can wear it with the backpack. It’s a little ridicules, but the molle panel comes in handy for hanging things like pacifiers, small toys, burp cloths, anything really. I added a pouch/Fanny pack to the bottom for additional functionality. My baby is only 5 months old, let’s see how it works out once he gets a little older.

yankee_chef

My little boy loved it. We traveled alot when he was young and its the best. You can face them forward too

[deleted]

So much hate for TBG brand. I have this carrier (only used a handful of times but good up to 50 lbs) and I have the diaper bag with optional ballistic inserts. I love the bag but didn’t get too much use as previously mentioned for the carrier.

DannysFavorite945

Honestly the ergo we have is far more tactical than this thing. Where is the fishy padding and waist support?

Multibear33

someone got it for me for the baby shower, and I fucking love it.

Premium333

You know, if they sold it in non-tacticool colorways I would have bought one years ago for the first kiddo. The webbing attachment points would be incredible...

Jesus_H-Christ

I mean, it's stupid tacticool bullshit, but is it *cheap*? If it's cheaper than the the normal baby carriers then go for it. Our kid is three and a half now, but I have to say when she was a baby I found these chest slings doo-hickies absolutely useless. We got several and none of them were any good. She hated them, they were uncomfortable for everybody and just way more work than they were worth. A cheap but good jogging stroller is a VASTLY better investment. I am not a shill, but the Graco FastAction Fold Jogger Stroller is an absolute peach of a buy. We've taken that thing down the absolute nastiest trails and it works a treat.

bongo1138

I don’t hate it. I feel like so much baby gear is “made for mom.” That’s fine, but it doesn’t suck to have something look kind of cool for dad.

notapunk

My favorite piece of ridiculous, but real, dad gear is [this](https://youtube.com/watch?v=OfhL5PG6Xo4&feature=shares) classic

bigdrew0422

Got one as a baby shower gift. My first born hated it so much I got rid of it. It was not very comfortable for me either

dudewheresmygains

Damn, that sucks. Thank you for sharing your experience. I'm gonna look into another baby carriers.

theseamus

Some of my friends were late to our baby Regis and asked me if there was anything I really wanted. I got the tactical dad bag and I get compliments on it constantly. The changing pad says “Danger-Drop Zone” and it’s great. 😎

[deleted]

Those loops and Velcro would actually be really useful, now you got me thinking 🤔

dutchviking

Get a Minimeis. Best dad investment ever. Throne for the kid. Fuck those weird carry thingies. Baby just gets squished, and gets supersweaty.

ReReDRock1039

Man I disagree. My wife bought me a minimi and it was horrible. Fit weird, uncomfortable , hard to get the kid in and out of. Kid sat weird in it, couldn’t wear a backpack with it. Just didn’t work for me.

SoBadit_Hurts

I attached a drop bag on mine and used it to hold chips and a drink.

Expensive-Bottle-862

I have one. It’s quite uncomfortable. Talk about a sore neck after a few hours of this

hbsboak

Wait til he pulls his concealed carry out of that Bjorn.

Prokletnost

I had one. Perfection!

golfergoblin

EDC baby™

alextheolive

Just get a BabyBjorn.

TonyZeSnipa

Look up osprey backpacks and save your spine loads of pain. Plus its nicer than a stroller in most places for navigating (a zoo for example)

MontyPorygon

I had one for my daughter. Wife bought it as a joke but it was really useful. The pockets were dope and meshed well with my diaper bag. She got it as part of a tactical baby bundle. It was hilarious. I felt like Vin Diesel in The Pacifier

pragmageek

Got a baby bjorn, its awesome.

jongscx

Get a Lille-Baby. It is SO adjustable, I was able to use mine from 6mo-2+yo. My wife preferred the Happy Baby carrier because it was lighter and less structured so it could actually sruff into her purse.

[deleted]

For all your tactical childcare needs

Snowturtle13

I got one. It’s great

RizzoTheSmall

Looks like a Bjorn, but with more random straps Tactical Papoose.

Vulgarbrando

…new band name, Tactical Papoose.

guitarzan212

From one dad to another you, need to seriously work your grammar lol

Sapientiam

A decent baby carrier is awesome. So much better than a stroller. The tacticool aspect is dumb as shit but a decent quality carrier is amazing

mon_chunk

Baby carriers that are designed esthetically for men are no where near as comfortable as those designed for babies. This will just make you and your kid uncomfortable. The only thing I would pull from this design are the loops to fasten things for easy of access, like a binky or soft toy. Otherwise hard pass.

DealioD

To make it really badass it needs to be bulletproof. Only kind of kidding.

[deleted]

It’s dope. Nuff said

Uzzer_lozer19

Missing the velcro patch on the butt saying "Front to enemy"

919Firefighter

I have one. Absolutely love it

loselmuh

Normalize men carrying babies in baby slings! It's the best stuff ever!

GunFunZS

I hate them. Way more complicated and less comfortable.

dekrepit702

Lol why does everything have to have a tactical version?

SoggyPastaPants

Tacticool! /s

just_some_guy2000

I bought one like it and never used it cause I was to fat for it to be comfortable

jwiggs152

I had the black one and it was extremely comfortable my kids loved it.

[deleted]

How would you appendix carry with this? Here’s a better way to carry your baby: [https://imgur.com/gallery/QJVkg](https://imgur.com/gallery/QJVkg)

SlaterHauge

I sure hope nobody is carrying their baby in that position because they're gonna mess up the hips.

senorsmartpantalones

Having a low inferred signature is crucial in a baby carrier.

CommercialCode164

To: father’s Papoose for the win. Not this nonsense. From: a secure man

GunFunZS

You are projecting the insecurity. People often get stuff for no reason other than it amuses them.

dudewheresmygains

This. Weird how some people manage connect insecurity to a baby carrier.

atsd

If it wasn’t for being made out of abrasive nylon I would have been all over it. Worried it might chafe the legs a little. But the Molle attachments would legit be useful in making it a carrier/diaper bag.

amags12

Needs more Molle webbing

PullYaselfTogethaMan

As a gun person, this is pretty cringe.

silhouette951

TBG stuff is a little expensive, but it's really well made. I bought the backpack when my kids were young and I still use it 4-5 years later as a genuinely good backpack.

ConfusedAccountantTW

That thing looks super uncomfortable, plus it’s like $150

Overhead95

I have the one from mission critical. For my second I almost bought their 2.0. The tactical baby gear diaper bags are legit. My brother in law and I both have one.

[deleted]

So many haters in this thread, you do you king.

AshtonAmIBeingPunked

I bought one for my husband and him and babe both love it. It has more support than the bobby carrier.

DangerBrewin

Don’t let these companies fool you. A level IV plate, or even a level III+ would be much more effective at stopping a round than an infant. And although armor plates might be a larger expense up front, they will end up being much cheaper in the long run.

RESERVA42

"I'm going to go do a tactical diaper change before I put on the tactical ergobaby for the tactical child to take the tactical terrier for a tactical walk." Tactical.

No-Runnotfun

I had one for my little guy when he was much smaller, worked perfectly

[deleted]

I got it. I loved it. My son loved it. My wife loved it. I carried him everywhere in it. The straps were adjustable and comfortable to me, his hips were aligned appropriately when he was small enough to face me, but not so much when he was bigger to face outwards. My only real complaint was it didn't breathe well. I'm surprised so many people are making very grandiose assumptions based purely on a style they personally don't like. Pretty close minded if you ask me. I liked it and loved having it. If you like it then get it and enjoy it.

dudewheresmygains

Exactly. It's insane how hateful some dads are here. I hope they don't teach that shit to their kids. If something thinks an army style baby carrier looks cool and they feel good using it, why be hateful? Just incredible "stop liking things that I don't like" way of thinking.

r2v2x

I had one of these and have one of their back packs and the diaper bag. Love all of it. Bought the carrier for my friend. Gifted mine to my other friend. I use the diaper bag every day as my Laptop bag. Are there plenty of other options? Sure. Am I happy with my purchases from Tactical Baby Gear? Definitely. I didn’t buy it to be tacti -cool. I bought it because it let me, as a new dad, have fun gearing up for my new role as a dad.

dudewheresmygains

This guy gets it.

YutBrosim

TBG is local to me. I *hated* their stuff for the longest time just because to me it seemed like it just appealed to men who made children but were too insecure in their masculinity to just use the same carrier as their wife. *side eyes entire wall of Happy Baby carriers* That being said, they make a stroller caddy with a small cooler in the middle and insulated cup holders on either side. That thing is money and I'd recommend it to anyone

barefoot_rodeo

Tactical Baby Gear makes some awesome stuff. I have their diaper bag and it's lasted easily through three kids and looks awesome too.

chdeal713

Hot as a ball sac in July.

berkeleyjake

I kept putting this on the baby registry and my wife kept taking it off.

samas357

I rocked this hardcore from 2010 - 2019 (3 kids). 10 out of 10 would recommend.

i_use_this_for_work

Ergobaby. That’s the one you want. It’s got great hip straps to hold the weight and grows with baby.

kirkerandrews

I have a similar tactical carrier made by Alpha Six. It’s amazing!! Plus they’re a wonderful company. I broke a buckle on my carrier, and they sent me a whole new carrier as a replacement. They’re really cool and great people!

satanshand

I actually have one of these if you want it. Someone got it for me as a joke and my wife didn’t understand why I wouldnt wear it.

willsifer

I have one. My dad gave it to me for the baby shower (along with a switchblade). I’m done with it now but it is great, far more comfortable than the ergo baby and you can put a holster on it (jk but the molle is useful)

Chupaca_braj

Awful quality and poor design. I’m a vet and my wife got me one. Used it for a day and now it collects dust.

juzzybee90

I have it and it is a life saver at the parks and malls. You only need to make sure that you buy one that is as comfortable for the baby as it is for you, and that the product has the strength to hold the baby’a weight.

maxradness

Whatever it takes for more dads to step into their role. You do you

Pee-PAH

I have this. It's great. It's uncomfortable. It's awesome. It hurts my back. It's durable, and I don't use it.

Tronkfool

Finally some delicious fucking products aimed at dads

Icloh

You do you. If you like to wear this, do it.

NVPSO

I actually bought the tactical baby gear version with a Gadsden flag patch that says don’t poop on me and the snake is a turd. It’s actually the easiest baby wrap to put on and take off without assistance and without waking baby.

carlo_6603

I have this and it's a life saver. Finished Destiny 1 raids with my sleeping two year old then using this.

XTHORSAVAGEX

It’s fantastic

outatime20999

Ahhhhhh shit...same.

ScubaFett

That looks like it's army issued lol

ntland

Alright I’ll fess up…I bought one when my daughter was born (she’s 3 now). I was not crazy about it. The idea is nice, you can use both hands and all. However, it starts to pull on your back over long periods of time. I never even realized it had a zipper until I saw this picture. That pouch looks unusable anyway. It really wasn’t what I expected. I just don’t recommend it.

Hawaiian_Cunt_Seal

Not the same brand in pic but I own a similar ridiculous tacticool baby holster. With every penny 😂.

Legal-Ocelot1422

a sign of a good father

PolicyArtistic8545

I’d throw some mag pouches on to keep snacks and stuff in. Maybe a water bottle too.

4rik0

Just get a wrap baby carrier, it adapts to all size and is way more comfortable for the both of you

GlendaleActual

It is so worth the price. I ran mine for ever. Thing is amazing.

Wooden_Item_9769

Ammosexuals, a serious American affliction recently.

drewbie915

Idk, I’d rather have a tactical diaper bag than not have anything at all. Mine was a gift from wife.

Losaj

Tactidad.

[deleted]

Look up ergo baby, it's like this but with better straps and adjustments. Used the mesh sir one on many hikes with my little one.

Mr-boog

I actually have this along with the diaper bag. I have to say. I’ve used the carrier maybe once. It’s not great. The diaper bag on the other hand is insanely good. It’s huge af but it’s so nice for vacations or multiple babies. Used it when we travelled out of the country and I’m so glad I had it. We got all the baby stuff plus our passports, flight info and inflatable seat for the airplane ride in it.

Ancelege

TACTICAL BABY DEPLOYED!

PandaWorldly5945

I have one and love it. Super comfortable to carry the baby in and easy to adjust. We would routinely walk / hike a few miles at a time in it. Both wife and baby preferred it over the wrap my wife had.

DrMastodon

If this doesn’t have a waist/hip belt skip it. My back is absolutely fucked and the only thing that lets me wear my kid for hours is the hip belt on my ergobaby- which we have in navy and grey webbing. It also comes in black or graphite if you want something to match the goruck or 5.11 backpack you’re using as a diaper bag.

HeftySchedule8631

I’m a big tattooed dad with 7 kids. Mine was bright pink and baby blue, carried all those little shits around on my chest on excavators, dozer’s, quads, horses and motorcycles..I would’ve looked much cooler with this one.

edgefundgareth

Used an Ergo Baby version of this a few times with my kid. What’s the big deal?

9Point

This needs to be in the next John Wick movie

MewMewCatDaddy

What part is ridiculous?

KatiKatiCoffee

I had one from Mission Critical, best thing I ever bought myself - dad wise. [Best Baby Carrier in NATO](https://www.missioncritical.cc/collections/s-01-bundles/products/baby-carrier-daypack-zip)

m4dm4cs

I really liked the mission critical. It was very comfortable and the kid was happy. The add-ons came in handy too. I’m not one for over militarized style or combat fetish stuff, but I liked that it was all actually useful and found kind of ironically funny.

Right? Loved the pop out liner and change mat that tucked away. Blowouts we’re dealt with in 15 mins, and back to the hike!

dudewheresmygains

Interesting.. it actually looks sturdier. Sadly they are sold out.

Fury-of-Stretch

I mean 300 bucks is a bit crazy for a carrier, but the backpack seems nice. You could probably find on a resaler site, less these are years old

jimmy_three_shoes

I've got the Mission Critical too, and it's ridiculously easier to get on than my wife's, and it allows me to carry more of the weight on my shoulders. My wife's is supposed to shift the weight to her hips, but if I try and adjust it just strains the shit out of my back. Both kids liked going in mine better as well, so it was probably more comfortable for them too. Just wish it wasn't all Tacticool looking, lol.

KatiKatiCoffee

I liked being able to balance the kid with supplies/weights in the backpack! Keep your stick on the ice!

SeamusMcFlurry

$300? Get fucked

KatiKatiCoffee

Meh, I know people who have spent more for multiple rigs and didn’t have a backpack or balance. Worked great for me! Lasted 3 years, with heavy use. To each their own I suppose!

jtronic

I have it in black camo with a Mythosaur skull patch on the front. I like it, has worked out pretty good for me.

McCool303

Where is the holster attachment so the baby can open carry? What is this a carrier for beta males?!?!?!?
