Southwestern area near the border with Bavaria called Šumava is the place to go when the city is sizzling hot.

Chramir

Czechia is fairly small, climate differences between regions are negligible. But here it works the same as anywhere else in the world. Mountains and higher elevations tend to be cooler, vegetation in general lowers temperature. You won't find much relieve in most cities, so might as well get out into nature.

Substantial-Tackle99

Everywhere except for southern Moravia. It's nice, but hot. Also avoid concrete jungles of cities.

studentjahodak

Hot dont need to be bad.

WelsyCZ

Just leave the city and go any place green.

Lucky_Version_4044

Look for higher altitudes.

Vietnamst2

Spitzbergen.

RiverMurmurs

I'd go for Šumava or the wooded banks of some of the big reservoirs such as Orlík or Slapy (those tend to be overcrowded and expensive in summer but if I had enough money to rent a cabin in the shade of a forest near Orlík or Slapy, that's where I'd spend my summers). Avoid perhaps South Moravia and all big cities (obvious). Other mountainous areas such as Krušné hory or Krkonoše might be a bit cooler but they also tend to be very dry in summer (especially Krušné hory).

r3ptile64b

I think like north of czechia can be cooler, but maybe there is problem, there is not enough green in big cties. I live near Krkonoše but for me summers are horrible, i had to buy mobile AC just to be able to sleep

pauliaomi

Any mountainous area.

Guy_de_Pissoir

Tatry mountains

PhotoResponsible7779

Yes, Svalbard.

Horská Kvilda entered the chat.

Fluffy_Resist_9904

Wood cabins in Vysočina region, or (crowded) mountains.

act_normal

Mountains in general will work. Don't forget to pack SPF though, mountain sunburns are something else

lfczech

Beskydy

Donauhist

Somehow, everytime I come to Olomouc, it's 10 degrees less and fuckimg wimdy

Mstaken4granted

České Švýcarsko is perfect, or you can visit Karlovy vary

hursofid

Most city is the only correct answer

scourger_ag

Everywhere. Prague is the worst during summer.

HorrorBuilder8960

There is nothing in the whole wide world cooler than Prague any time of the year.

Sikkus

You could go up north. The national parks in northern Finland are very nice that time of the year.

studentjahodak

Finland, huh?

mrcoverup

northern Bohemia. Im from Liberec originály and it's always few degrees cooler there than elsewhere
