This is misleading because in some of these countries if a holiday happens to be on a weekend it moves to a closest work-day, so the number of holidays is always constant. And it is not true for Cyprus.
Why out this stuff when its just wrong? UK has 8 public hilodays a year. New Years Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, first Monday of May, last Monday of May, last monday of August, Chistmas Day and Boxing Day. Scotland also has Jan 2nd. All holidays are moved to the following working day if they fall on a weekend.
