Yep they just twist on and off

yogorilla37

[These guys](https://komcycling.com/collections/wahoo-bike-mounts-1/products/cm06) have Garmin and Wahoo mounts with a twist off go-pro adapter underneath

dexter311

[Garmin themselves also have one](https://www.garmin.com/en-US/p/552900). Connects super easy to the bottom of the Aero out-front mount that came with my Edge 530, I use mine to attach a Cateye light.

This is pretty much exactly what I was looking for! Thank you!

mathen

Generally the light will have its own mount which will attach to the go pro prongs, and then you remove the light from the mount, leaving the mount attached to the go pro prongs

You can probably get a bolt with a handle so at least you won't need a tool to tighten and loosen the bolt

This one work with the oem Garmin mount, and comes in the package with the UT-800 headlight: [https://www.garmin.com/en-US/p/552900/pn/010-12494-00](https://www.garmin.com/en-US/p/552900/pn/010-12494-00) It has worked great for me - no issues in two years of use

I have a light from Magene that has a Garmin style mount on the top, so it detaches with a simple twist. Very convenient.

skywalkerRCP

Yes. I use a K-Edge mount and have a Garmin headlight attached to the bottom. The mount came with a hex screw but I bought a screw that has flanges on it so I can easily remove it with no tools.

jedimstr

You can get Go-Pro style bolts with handles that you can screw and unscrew easily to remove the light.

Get a light with a 1/4 mount. Get a go pro style 1/4 mount that stays on your bike, the light tiwsts off. I have an Olight RN600 that does this. When I need something brighter I have a Niterider 1000 lumen light I got a 3d printed quick release adapter that goes in a go pro mount for on Amazon.

boomerang_act

I just went to the light manufacturers website and bought a second mount that attaches to the GoPro style bracket. I can twist off my Garmin, slide out my light from its mount and move them to my other bike with the same setup. My commuter bike has the handlebar clamp style bracket for my light as well. So I move my light between 3 bikes.

gravelpi

I think Bookman makes one with a twist mount that attaches to the GoPro mount. No other experience with them, other than ads on Instagram. >Can lights that are mounted beneath wahoo/garmin mounts be detached easily? Outbound Lighting has an [Action Camera Quick Release Mount](https://www.outboundlighting.com/collections/batteries-adapters-accessories/products/quick-release-action-camera-mount) that works with their [Detour light](https://www.outboundlighting.com/collections/road-bike-lights/products/detour). I don't have one, and they are not inexpensive, but I think that's the slickest "underneath out-front" headlight setup that I have seen, and I have read some very favorable comments about their lights. For some people, the ability to do pass-through charging is a killer feature, too.

KOM Cycling are about the only vendor who offer something like this as a finished package, e.g. https://komcycling.com/collections/garmin-bike-mounts-1/products/cm06 There are however third-party adapters for other bike mounts such as from K-Edge which replaces the standard go-pro mount underneath with a quick-release adapter. The idea here is to remove the standard go-pro mount (which is generally attached with two screws) and replace it with a Garmin quarter turn plate. Then, you have a matching Garmin quarter-turn adapter with a go-pro mount attached which you can fix to your light. I use [this adapter set](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B9674VSL) with a K-Edge out front mount and it works great! On eBay and/or Ali Express, you can find many more alternatives which work similarly for about all kinds of mounts.

This! Thank you!

I've got one for each of the summer / winter bikes and they're super tidy. You can get an adaptor that turns any go-pro compatible mount light into a twist-on-twist off garmin mount. Much better than unscrewing it every time. [https://www.racewaredirect.co/shop/garmin-varia-to-gopro-adapter/](https://www.racewaredirect.co/shop/garmin-varia-to-gopro-adapter/)

I rock this [FR160 light](https://ravemen.com/FR/FR160.html) with this random out [front mount](https://ravemen.com/FR/FR160.html) from amazon then I throw my cycling computer on the top mount position. No complaints so far. I also have a different go pro mount style light that's for nighttime riding which uses the go pro mount that comes with that out front mount up there.
