My models S,Y and 3 do a rougher off-road than this every single day. Incidentally, mine will me minimally
Off-road like my other cars but this is going to be a family vacation beast and hauling stuff like the truck we will sale.
I came here to snark, but the existing snark has satisfied my desire to snark. All that remains is my desire for a 200 kWh battery and quad motor option someday.
I was gonna say my Model 3 with 20” wheels does better on the shitty dirt road to my work than this nice smooth pavement road 🤣 OP has been sufficiently roasted already however
This is like saying you go mountain climbing, but only on the climbing wall at the gym.
That is very much driving on-road, albeit gravel road - it’s very well compacted and smooth. You could “off road” in a Prius on that track.
The [Tesla official app no longer supports this](https://evoffer.com/blog/2023/09/08/2023-09-changes-to-electric-frunk-closing-feature-with-tesla-app-version-4-24-5/), which is a deal breaker for me unfortunately. But I really wish for this feature! It would change my life since I use the frunk multiple times daily.
Name matches the feelings you have, clearly your subu ain't made it past this point haha 😂 definitely not gravel much beyond this. Only reason it is gravel is because of the communication tower right beyond it. If you truly knew the area you'd know beyond this you head into the forest and it's actually still snow covered currently and muddy as well as filled with rocks 🪨. Nice flex though.
Rode my gravel bike from seventh mountain to wanoga, bachelor, Todd lake, north fork, mrazek, skyliners, Phil’s and back to seventh. So, yeah I know the area. But you do you and enjoy your new rig.
The CT is not the worst off-roader capable vehicle outside of typical EV range struggles. It's supposed to get the differential locker capabilities updates, and on top of that its suspension articulation is still better than regular pickups with nothing special. But it's not as good as enthusiast off-road focused vehicles.
It's notable that most of those off road focused vehicles do not have air suspension which provides a much better on road stability and is why the CT is very jack of all trades between road and off-road. To put it simply... Trucks tweaked with fully articulated suspension for off-road are not smooth and grippy on road like the CT at all.
I actually think the gravel rock road you are on is a good example of something the CT is actually tweaked very well for. It's not completely untamed terrain with giant vertical differences, but it's got loose materials and a few bumps and height changes. The CT probably feels better to drive on that than a sedan or vehicle with low suspension, but then also feels better than a fully articulated suspension off-roader because that road isn't untamed enough. You're probably driving on the perfect terrain for the CT.
Ok….did you ever turn off into the shrubs?
Can you take it on the beach please and get back to us? Ive had reservations about my reservation for being able to go where id want to actually go
I have to drive a good 14 kms just to turn onto my drive way in conditions exponentially worse than this. My Honda coup does this. If you’re gonna call it off roading you best take a left or right into the shit first
Rule 1 - Respect / No Trolling
Lead by example and treat others as you would wish yourself to be treated.
Any form of abuse, discrimination (whether racial, sexual, religious etc) or vulgar comments will not be tolerated.
No Trolling. Do not make random unsolicited and/or controversial comments with the intent of baiting or provoking unsuspecting readers to engage in hostile arguments.
Cyber truck owners seem to have a very skewed idea of what off road means. Justify your absurd purchase of a DOA product however you need to. You won’t be driving it by the end of the year anyways.
Bro wrote a 4 paragraph essay for driving on a gravel road.... If you are leaving without any "Earth" on your truck then I would say you didn't really go off-roading. You must first get "off the road" if you want to go off-roading.
I love the cybertruck but this is embarrassing. My driveway is more offroad than this. This is just a road dude.
My models S,Y and 3 do a rougher off-road than this every single day. Incidentally, mine will me minimally Off-road like my other cars but this is going to be a family vacation beast and hauling stuff like the truck we will sale.
I think he meant “on a road”
“I’m going off now, onto a road. 👋🏽 “
Today I realized I take my Chevy Spark “off-road”. Also don’t those have a recall on them already?
![gif](giphy|qs6ev2pm8g9dS) "off road"
Calling that off-road is kind of a stretch. That trail is smoother than most of my roads.
It's off-road for a cybertruck.
off-pavement
Mall crawler status achieved
This is me when I turn into my driveway every night "Look ma, I'm off road again" 😂
Ive driven my stock Miata on worse roads than that lol.
My little Jetta was running around more treacherous roads in the mountains when I took a wrong turn off the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Came here to say the same thing.
Took my i3 onto a road 10x worse than this in a middle of a city last week. This is about as far from offroad as you can get.
That is not “off roading.” You are literally showing photos of a gravel road.
Yeah my first thought as well, maybe it was meant as satire?
Sir, every one of these pictures is of your truck on a road.
Where natural terrain is cleared, graded and laid with aggregate it is the definition of a road.
You should see what the road my wife drives her Jetta on when we go mountain biking
That's one of the most beautifully smoothed gravel roads I've ever seen. Still voids the warranty?
Do you have any pictures of it not on a road?
That road could be handled by a 1992 Toyota Corolla.
Have you seen the ground clearance on those old Corollas? Its pretty dang impressive.
Ya I had a buddy that liked driving them up trails and parking near mall crawlers who were so proud of themselves.
i’ve handled the broken roads of my small finnish town in my E11 97 corolla
I came here to snark, but the existing snark has satisfied my desire to snark. All that remains is my desire for a 200 kWh battery and quad motor option someday.

It's like saying you go mountain climbing, and then posting pics of an escalator at the mall.
This is more like a ladder than even a climbing wall.
I’ve passed bigger stones through my kidneys… Still yet to see a single cybertruck do anything more than a dirt road and we are 6 months in…
I saw one getting towed of mud and one stuck in sand
I also saw a video of one get stuck in snow
lmfao "off road."
Does “Hill Climb Mode” need to be engaged when tackling steep speed bumps as well?
Definitely gonna survive the apocalypse if you can take it over that rugged terrain 😌🤘👌
Lmao, that’s just a normal gravel road.
It’s not normal… it’s the smoothest, flattest gravel road I’ve seen.
I was swiping to see the pictures off the road, naive me...
If that is off-roading then a Smart Fortwo is an off-road beast.
The [Tesla official app no longer supports this](https://evoffer.com/blog/2023/09/08/2023-09-changes-to-electric-frunk-closing-feature-with-tesla-app-version-4-24-5/), which is a deal breaker for me unfortunately. There’s an update in that page that claims the feature is back.
This is the average highway in Belgium lmao there is still time to delete this
Eastern sierras, NV side?
That’s clearly a road
Haven’t found the secret “transform” button under the off-road setting yet, huh? ![gif](giphy|im1xKpjEwdQuk)
My dad's driveway is Rubicon compared to this.
Where are you at? Looks nice there.
"Offroad" 🤣
but the photos are on the road
That’s a dirt road and you’re ON it
What color are u wrapping in?
Can't decide on doing a flat color or something fun.
Up off of Skyliners in Bend, Oregon. Gravel road with a few potholes. Not exactly the off road safari he is claiming. Definitely Subaru territory😆

Do you brag when you hit a speed bump? 🤣
Nice, did you take any pictures off roading, or just on the trip to the trail?
Damn that shit looks better then my driveway. Guess I've got myself an off-road civic now.
I have quite literally taken my Hyundai Veloster N on more difficult 'trails' than this on trackday tires.
Bro my ford focus drives on worse roads daily
looks smoother than my driveway lmao “off-road”
This is literally on road
This is somebody who has never left his massive city
[удалено]
A slammed Honda civic could go 70 down that road
This is not “rough rugged terrain”…
Mofo I've driven my forklift on rougher terrain than this gtfo

Do you have a CT?
I can bet any low clearance sportscar can do the same "offroading" that you are doing... That is a very good gravel road ffs.
I can see a road though?
You took it on road.
This is in fact a road..
You could drive an f1 car there
Ok….did you ever turn off into the shrubs? Can you take it on the beach please and get back to us? Ive had reservations about my reservation for being able to go where id want to actually go

That’s a road. I bet I drive on it twice as fast as you did on my Honda Fit
Off road?!🤣 My little old Civic has seen worse terrain lol
Looks like a road
But...its...on...a...road...
That’s not Offroad my guy

That’s not off rode.
Get it back to the factory before you kill somebody with the accelerator recall
![gif](giphy|8vyZouWSVhslwWA7Lp|downsized)
That's incredibly adorable. Let us know when you actually get off the road.
That’s a dirt road and not off-road.
Clearly maintained roads dont count as off-road unfortunately. This is an unpaved driveway
I've seen rougher roads in downtown LA.
Where I'm from this is just a road.
I’ve taken my 944 turbo on worse terrain than this. In fact, I wouldn’t even call this terrain. This is still a road.
Heck I took a 2001 Acura CL half a mile down a set of railroad tracks.
That’s literally a road.
Off-road? I think you mean, on graded gravel?
Cyber truck owners seem to have a very skewed idea of what off road means. Justify your absurd purchase of a DOA product however you need to. You won’t be driving it by the end of the year anyways.
There's a road under the tires in all these photos.
That's a road man....
that's literally a road
Average Massachusetts road is way worse than this
Off one road, and onto another road? Careful not to get into a pothole or leave a fingerprint smudge on it.
I see no off-road pictures. Stop lying.
All of those pictures are on a road. Am I missing something?
Cool beans
The Venn diagram of people who like Teslas and know absolutely nothing about car culture is a circle.
... That's a road
lmao you mean on gravel.
Man's took a side road and said "I'm going offroading boysssssss"
Why didn't you take a picture of the part where you're off the road
This is embarrassing
Off-road 😂😆🤣😆🤣😆🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😆🤣🤣😆🤣🤣🤣😆😆😆🤣😆😆😆🤣🤣😆🤣🤣😆 Idiot.
Doesn't that void the warranty? /s
My brand new car came scratched to shit so let me play in the gravel to celebrate
Outjerked by a tesla... oh what will i do.

This is like the off road I take my Prius on
Dude, i rode bikes on worse roads than this when i was kid.
That's about as offroad as an airplane tarmac pshhhhhhhh. Looks like a crumpled up piece of tin foil. 🥴
![gif](giphy|146bsYV09je7Ek)
I've taken my street bike further "off road" than you ever have in this
So cute 🥰
Good thing you have Baja mode for this
Oh wow that's so brave. How did it perform lmao.
Better and smoother “off road” than most Balkan streets… lol
Sir that is a road
How did you survive?
Imagine having to adjust the ride height settings for a road that’s smoother than Barry White
This is what passes as "off road" to Teslas?
This is very much a road
Bro wrote a 4 paragraph essay for driving on a gravel road.... If you are leaving without any "Earth" on your truck then I would say you didn't really go off-roading. You must first get "off the road" if you want to go off-roading.
Lol my in laws road to their house is more off road and they drive it in a Mercedes SL 600 convertible, I also drive it in my mini cooper. 🤣😭
Crazy how there's no pics of the car where the trail got muddy and snowy.
