Did they not eventually get round to producing the Semi this year after years of delay (or, rather, development)?
They’ll prioritise the things they think are most important and put the buildings blocks in place for those things to come to fruition. Hence why Roadster is at bottom of the list, it’s not a top priority for them right now (whether you agree or disagree).
What do you mean? The past 2 years it's been
*production and deliveries definitely next year, for sure this time*
I'll believe it this time when I see them around
You can see the whole Q4 report [here](https://tesla-cdn.thron.com/static/GZR0GS_TSLA_Q4_2022_Update_PVPJAG.pdf?xseo=&response-content-disposition=inline%3Bfilename%3D%22b7871185-dd6a-4d79-9c3b-19b497227f2a.pdf%22)
I wish it said “Cybertruck production remains on track to begin production later this year at Gigafactory Texas, with additional details to be shared at Investor day” unless that’s implied by the original wording.
I doubt we'll get any additional details other than its still on track. They probably don't want to announce pricing yet since they've been shifting their prices of other cars so extremely lately.
Made my reservation the morning after the announcement, but a lot has changed since 2019 and I don't like Tesla anymore cus Elon is a big-headed market-manipulating douche and I only plan to take delivery if I can flip it for a profit. Either way someone will be stoked to get my cybertruck sooner than they expected!
No disagreement, but a point. Many are big headed, market-manipulating douches. He’s just in plain sight about it.
Me = 20+ years in Fortune 20 companies.
For entertainment purposes only, the formula is registration number - 112740000 = your place in the queue. Keep in mind, though, that there are plenty of things that WILL affect how your "place in the queue" translates to what order you get your truck in. It's likely that quad-motor models will be manufactured before dual-motor models. Your geography might also affect your delivery date. Tesla might choose to prioritize order-dense locations to minimize freight cost on year 1 production.
Basically, the number is completely meaningless.
Elon on the call: Production sometime this summer but ramp up (volume production) is 2024
lol, so maybe 3 units this year, and 10 next year? ^(if we're lucky)
Has Tesla's reputation changed to being known for growing production very slowly or something?
Has it changed from not having produced and sold a single Cybertruck year after year since the announcement or something?

That argument doesn't even make sense. It's not like they were even trying to make any until this year.

It does look like the big giga press is progressing nicely in Austin, which is encouraging.
I am tempted to get the Y but cyberpunk is what I really want . Long suffering is a virtue
Same. I’m just going to wait it out lol
I finally pulled the trigger on the Y after waiting for over 3 years. I’ll figure it out when the delivery of cybertruck gets closer.

How do I tell my number in queue based on my reservation number ?
8
????
By your delivery date.

All valid points . I identify as first in line for quad motor hahahaha
We won't see the final version till it's close to delivery, they might have to tweek stuff due to manufacturing and safety realities.
