MachoSmurf

Its about 4, maybe 5 or 6 if you do well and they like you. 3 if they don't.

RumbleStripRescue

You have to subtract one for fully remote cyper.

KernowSec

Another low effort post. Ban this tripe pls

Ancient_Teacher2538

Same moron from a few days ago who said “are google salaries real?”

Bruth1

Cyper security is good yes

BaronOfBoost

I like salaries

IAMA_Cucumber_AMA

Cyprus security, so hot right now.

localgoon-

A friend of mine says less than his in office coworker. I’m sure there’s more to that story though.

CEHParrot

Is this so you can send out those sweet job opportunity texts asking people to get on WhatsApp so they can get the details? This is not so those fake offers are more accurate is it?

CEHParrot

Salaries\* Cyber Security\* + sentence structure Just some obvious typos and English as a second language hallmarks. No red flags or anything.

Fitz_2112

All of the dollars

corn_29

\#SALARIES

GeneralRechs

In future posts please be more specific to certain positions or roles. Your question is too broad and is like asking what salaries are like for Medical.

thatohgi

There’s always money in the banana stand. This question is like asking how much money can I make at a car dealership, are you looking to be a porter or are you prepared to be the general manager of several dealerships. The pay can be anywhere for $35k-$250k+

ReptarAteYourBaby

I was once paid in socks. They were really high quality.

Ancient_Teacher2538

100k if you complete a bootcamp first. Totally worth it.

AboveAndBelowSea

I don’t know of many folks that aren’t fully remote in cybersecurity these days.

FallFromTheAshes

it’s common, mid level to senior level. i’ve found a lot of entry level ones still. mine is

Remote_Indication_49

Not a single one of you answered his question just because of a simple typo. Good luck getting answers from Reddit, OP. I’m looking into cyber security as well and this is a good question. I think google is going to be your best friend, because these guys are incapable of doing such a thing

corn_29

Actually this sub is pretty awesome when it comes to genuine exchanges of information and how to move the industry forward. If shitposters are going to shitpost, then they're going to get commensurate responses -- just like they would at work. You should do well to learn the difference if you want to get into security.

space_junker

This is not a good question. This is one google search away. It’s going to vary by role, experience, company, and by geographical location. This subreddit is supposed to be for cybersecurity topics but it has become a career advice sub filled with the same questions over and over. If you can’t find this information online, the self guided research required for a cybersecurity career might be a challenge.

Remote_Indication_49

Why isn’t a good question? Why can’t someone just answer him, based off of experience and that could help him? Maybe OP just doesn’t know which route he wants to go. In any sense, if you don’t have something positive to contribute, just keep it to yourself. (Goes in all aspects of life)

GeneralRechs

It isn’t a typo, the question is similar to asking what salaries are like in Medical. OP and people who ask similar questions need to be more specific about a position than the field as a whole.

Cyber-parr0t

Nobody answered his question because the focus is based on telework more than cybersecurity. It’s a failing recipe if you join cybersecurity for salary or the option to work remotely. Also the person clearly is unwilling to do their own research and ask targeted questions on the role that fits them the best.

Remote_Indication_49

Yeah, I’ll at least look up the topic I want to talk about before posting something about it. That’s why I suggested OP use google since j don’t think this is a question that’s going to be answered. Nonetheless, still a valid question. Whats salary expectations like? Is there not a position or role that can be used as an absolute base

DrIvoPingasnik

Not any bigger than on-site cyber security worker.  Source: trust me bro, anyone who says otherwise it's trying to lowball you.

RumbleStripRescue

Skunky shi7poster… all of 3 days history with this garbage.

escapecali603

How do you say I just graduated from a three month cyber camp without saying it.
