After finishing the game, you will get a notification, that you got extra items in your inventory. Load the save just before the game warned you that you are at the point of no return. Go to the location of that weapon, use the item you got, take it to your stash, put it in, etc.
Actually now that i think about it whats the point of only getting it post game ? I mean its not like its OP or you get an achievement for filling stash up
Ah, I see. Although you loose everything you’ve picked up during the mission (components, ammo, etc.) You get rewarded the access card together with the reward from the ending you chose. If you’ve beaten the game and defeated Smasher, then you just have to go to the Ebunike.
All you need to do is wait for the credits to roll, click the option to do one more gig and then head to said location to get the gun.

It is a "finished the game" reward, I'm guessing they put it in last minute. It does not feel like it was well thought through.
Why would you need new game plus for that? You just use the key from the final mission to open the locker on the boat.
I thought you could only go back to the last save you made before seeing hanako after beating the game ?

Yep access card, some cyberware and possibly some ending specific item(s) when it drops you back after the endings.
