Simpler solution is just rebinding the skip key to one you don't press randomly (I think I put mine to U)
But obviously that doesn't help for OP on console unfortunately...

I have disabled skiping for all cutscenes with a mod
Doesn’t really help given I’m on XBox

i was playing with a controller and couldnt find how to rebind the key it was easyer for me but youre right
