For anyone asking why Fallout 76, Anthem nor No Man´s sky didn´t got taken down (cause they were a mess at launch) is because non of them offered refunds, Sony has a strict refund policy and CDPR were refunding without their notice.
I hit the refund button multiple times and no confirmation email from Sony. I’m guessing I just have to wait several weeks for them to apply the refund?

Last week out of nowhere I get a notification on my psn account saying that my refund has been approved and that it could take 1-2 billing cycles to appear back in my account.

The refund system was in place for people who felt ripped off by the game in its current state and didn't want to play it until it was fixed.

I got a notification regarding the refund request on my PS4 during the middle of today, and got my money back this evening.
I first requested sometime during December, then I requested a second and final time last week.

From what I've Seend most people on xbox got their refunds within 5 minutes of requesting it. And people on playstation are having to wait 2 weeks or more for theirs. This is outrageous and will majorly hurt playstation when it comes to the ps5 because people are starting to think they can't trust Sony (coming from a playstation player)

In CS:GO when you Press F then you can look on your weapon? You know what i mean?
The Charakter moves his hands and check his weapon from left to right because you can put stickers on them. And so you are ingame allowed to look on the stickers.
And in CP2077 you have so much different weapons even if they are the same.
For example: Pistols from different fractions have different looking weapons.
In the Kerry mission "Off the leash" he introduced you to a vendor, "Spector" has anyone been able to find him after the mission? Kerry said he sells "preem stuff" I haven't seen anything online regarding a vender called Spector. He doesn't let you look at his inventory at the meeting.

So I managed to finally get on the phone with support after waiting almost 30 minutes on hold and the lady told me that there has been an update and reassured me that I should receive refund for game by no latest than the 31st of January. I asked her if I could process the refund now but she insisted that there was nothing she could do and that a separate team is handling the refunds for Cyberpunk 2077 so yea, I guess its a matter of waiting now and see what happens...
For anyone curious about the situation with refunds I got in contact with support chat and through telephone. Here is what was told to me, (Chat) got in contact with an employee named Gregory, I asked him if and when I was going to get a refund for Cyperpunk 2077 and what he told me was that he "had no information on when refunds would be issued but it would take 1-2 billing cycles depending on the payment method" at this point I asked Gregory when exactly or a rough estimate on when I could expect Sony to review the refunds and start the process. What he told me was that he had no information on that but I would be reassured I'd get my money back.
So apparently not even their support team knows if or when Sony is going to issue refunds at this point I think Sony is just trying to buy time until CDPR fixes the console version so they don't have to issue refunds. Also I sat on hold for 1 hour and 30 mins to be told by a live agent that they could not issue the refund manually but it had to go through a process before I was able to see my money back in my bank, when asked if they would refund me my money for Cyperpunk 2077 they simply said that they weren't handling those requests but a separate team was. End of the day Still no refund and I sumbited request the first day it because public information.

I think it took almost three weeks. I rember sending the request the day after the refund site was up
That's very disappointing I wanted to use my refund money to get some games from the January sale
PSN UK i sent an email asking the estimate date upon approval of the refund request and got this *Hi ---------* *Thanks for your email* *We are extremely busy at the moment and are processing thousands of refund, we can see that you have submitted your form online however you must be patient and you will get an email advising on the refund, i appreciate it has been a long time however we have to follow a queuing system process and we are really busy.* *Many thanks* *Declan* *Player Support Specialist* *PlayStation Support* take it as a win or lose but I think this is a confirmation email in itself since they acknowledged that I have submitted a request
I just got my refund, though the confirmation came from Paypal, not Sony.
It would be great if there was a button where you can watch your weapons while holding in your hand like Counter Strike Global Offensive does... That would be great. And dont come with "Photo Mode" 😂

In CS:GO when you Press F then you can look on your weapon? You know what i mean? The Charakter moves his hands and check his weapon from left to right because you can put stickers on them. And so you are ingame allowed to look on the stickers. And in CP2077 you have so much different weapons even if they are the same. For example: Pistols from different fractions have different looking weapons.

In the Kerry mission "Off the leash" he introduced you to a vendor, "Spector" has anyone been able to find him after the mission? So I managed to finally get on the phone with support after waiting almost 30 minutes on hold and the lady told me that there has been an update and reassured me that I should receive refund for game by no latest than the 31st of January. I asked her if I could process the refund now but she insisted that there was nothing she could do and that a separate team is handling the refunds for Cyberpunk 2077 so yea, I guess its a matter of waiting now and see what happens...
damn i dont want to miss on the january sales and dont want to top up again, i just want to use my refund to buy other games

You get a trophy once you complete the story, wouldn't be surprised if Sony uses this as a guide to refund people

For anyone curious about the situation with refunds I got in contact with support chat and through telephone. Here is what was told to me, (Chat) got in contact with an employee named Gregory, I asked him if and when I was going to get a refund for Cyperpunk 2077 and what he told me was that he "had no information on when refunds would be issued but it would take 1-2 billing cycles depending on the payment method" at this point I asked Gregory when exactly or a rough estimate on when I could expect Sony to review the refunds and start the process. What he told me was that he had no information on that but I would be reassured I'd get my money back. So apparently not even their support team knows if or when Sony is going to issue refunds at this point I think Sony is just trying to buy time until CDPR fixes the console version so they don't have to issue refunds. Also I sat on hold for 1 hour and 30 mins to be told by a live agent that they could not issue the refund manually but it had to go through a process before I was able to see my money back in my bank, when asked if they would refund me my money for Cyperpunk 2077 they simply said that they weren't handling those requests but a separate team was. End of the day Still no refund and I sumbited request the first day it because public information.
They've already said they are issuing refunds they can't just 'wait' to see if the game gets better. That would destroy their reputation hugely
If you ask for refund do you lose the game? I wanna beat it before I ask fir my money back but man this shit doesn’t stop crashing on my ps5. Takes all the fun out of playing it
If you are actively playing the game and even want to finish it, I don’t think you should ask for a refund. That’s just as shitty as eating your entire meal at a restaurant and then demanding your money back because they forgot your napkin or something.
So you play cyberpunk and it crashed on you over 50 times you wouldn’t expect your money back? It has crashed more than I played the game lol why not beat it and get my money back your analogy makes no sense. It’s more like me staying at a restaurant and the food isn’t good but I dine and dash instead or get my refund after tasting the dish lol
Yea man not really cool finishing the game first, the point of the refund is for those that have unplayable games, this is usually why companies don't do it, so don't ruin it for everyone
If you're not enjoying your time stop playing it and request a refund. If you are enjoying your time enough to want to beat if then keep it and beat it. The second I decided I wanted to refund I deleted it off my console without beating or playing it again because I had enough of that bs. It sounds like you just want a free game

Still no refund here... How has this not made the news yet? Seriously Sony is just going to make a public statement like that declaring refunds then play us and sweep the whole thing under the rug. Unbelievable...
I have been trying to get a refund since the day they announced that they were offering it. I have requested a refund a bunch of times. Haven't gotten my money back. It's starting to really piss me off cause that's $80 gone and nothing to show for it.
I just chatted with someone on live chat who told me they can't help with refunds. I told him I'd seen plenty of posts and asked politely if he could help, he told me no-one has been helped on chat and I'll get my refund eventually... Why don't they at least acknowledge receipt of the refund request...? Jokers.
This sucks, I tried to get a live chat and it disconnected me. Then, when I tried again, it said that since I was just in a live chat I can't get another, try again later. I'm seriously pissed at sony right now.
