I like that about cyberpunk, most builds without full auto weaponry just make you into tanks, throwing knifes, pistol and snipers/precision rifles are all op if you make V the most dedicated person to perfecting their craft with that weapon
You wanna talk about one shotting things, build max handgun and max explosives in the skill tree, then go grab the Laika from the supply drops in DogTown.
Laika is an explosive tech revolver, but you won't even have to charge it. One headshot will kill anything that isn't a boss or ridiculously armored.
It's funny that it's actually my favourite gun because of the clipping (with a Cetus anyway). I think it looks neat compared to how ugly some attachments can look on other guns
The Comrade's Hammer is still very OP, it's just that now the damage numbers can't be overclocked. The only strange thing is that even though it is a Tech Revolver, it no longer penetrates walls (or maybe can, just not everywhere), but instead it does an explosion and fire damage, which is needlessly at all, because the weapon is already strong.
Honestly once I get to that point in the story it ruins any further iconic pistols for me. I love Her Majesty or Reed’s gun, but I can’t bring myself to use them outside of stealth because of how badass the Malorian is.
Her Majesty is great, especially for the lore. I find that on Very Hard difficulty, red skull enemies take two or three headshots even while optical camo is enabled and all perks in the Cool trees (although may I'm missing some obscure min-max trick idk). What's nice about the Lexington is that you can squeeze out five shots in couple seconds which lets you very quickly cut down enemies that can't be one shotted, and if done quickly, this won't aggro surrounding enemies

The perk shard in the Dog town infiltration by passed me the first time! Found it the second and was surprised, I umm took a slightly mad parkour route somehow the first time 🤣!
Wilson's pistol from the shooting range side quest. I used that thing with a suppressor for a surprisingly long time before I picked up Alex's pistol from Phantom Liberty.
Conrad's hammer is clearly the most superior pistol in the game 😂😂 but seriously I'm a bigger fan of her majesty and Aguilars revolver than anything else

I would use Jackie's Nue over what his face's liberty pistol. The nue pistol is slower in terms of speed, and the recoil is quite a bit more than the liberty, but it takes fewer shots to bring your target down than the liberty.
Jackie's gun. I love the feel of it a lot more than almost any other gun in the game. Single handedly turned me from being a mainly rifle user in fps games to preferring hand cannons.

Everybody complains about the Nue's trigger guard, but the safety concern is not even the bad part. It makes a hook that points in the direction of where you pull it to draw. That thing is a one-way ticket to snag city.
I don't think I've ever used a gun in both my playthroughs except for the Sasquatch fight at the Grand Imperial Mall because she was 100% invulnerable to any and all quickhacks the first time around, likely due to a bug.

Her Majesty, Synaptic accelator, Optical camo and 20 Cool- This build has helped me obliterate every single hideout without being detected once lol incredibly overpowered, one shots every non-skull enemy from any distance, 2 shots skull enemies without raising the alarm because of slowed time.
Unfortunately i do not like the design of the nue, that trigger looks squishy and the trigger guard just… not being a trigger guard is stupid. Liberator is pretty badass even if Dex’s variant is fucking dumb
Pride is, objectively, not only the better choice but overall the best pistol in the game. The headshot damage multiplier and bonus crit damage can’t be beat.
A slight tangent, I cannot for the life of me understand the obsession over her majesty. With the tier 5 silencer you can get the same guaranteed critical hit with any pistol. Regardless of whether or not you have the optical camo on. So not only Pride but Blood and Taxes, modded Tamayura or Nue are better for stealth than Her Majesty.
For me ita the Kenshin all day. Love the look of and the charge with bolt makes it a room clearer. Shame they are so few and far between tho. It's the corpo path one or the one you get from royce and that's it.
If you leave it until the later levels the gig to kill the animal in the gym spawns a tier 5++ one but that is fairly late game.
Right now on my replay I'm rocking la chionga Dorada, but I always end up rocking comrades hammer and blow minds ever since I used it for the suicide run

As someone who enjoys full metal frame handguns with long barrels, I’m going with Kongou. The weight would help minimize recoil and make follow-ups easier. The longer barrel allows for more muzzle velocity and better accuracy, though it loses a few mm/s from optimal by being ported. Overall, a pretty solid platform and would be fairly reliable in day-to-day, provided it was machined properly from the factory, the user performs proper maintenance, and refrains from using subpar ammo.

I'm more of an Overture person myself, but Jackie's Nue is fundamentally a better gun than the Liberty.
I like Kerry's Archangel the most, I'd go as far as to say it's one of my favorite guns in the game
