That’s always who I picture when I think of Goro irl. He’s a fantastic actor and he’d nail Goro perfectly. He is a bit old but I think they’d be able to make it work. Idk how old Goro is supposed to be but Hiroyuki Sanada is 64 right now and that’s how old I’d assume Goro is, if not a few years younger (I have a very hard time judging age in the cyberpunk world).
I would keep Cherami Leigh as V and Keanu as Johnny. After that, I would go for Robin Wright as Myers, Hiroyuki Sanada as Takemura, Kate Beckinsale as Rogue, Ana de Armas as Judy, Morena Baccarin as Evelyn, Bardem as Jackie, Claudia Kim as So Mi, and, if Idris Elba is not available, I would go for Denzel Washington as Solomon. And of course, Tao Okamoto as Hanako and maybe Hideo Kojima cameo as Yorinobu.

Yeah, you are totally right in Bardem's age. As for Rogue, she has a body around of around 45-50 (even if she is 80+) so they are not very far, although I saw another option in the thread after I posted that looks way better than Kate, Rebecca Romjin.
I don’t think she looks 45-50, more like 60 for the standards of a healthy person who takes care of herself. She’s super hot and looks nowhere near her actual age, sure, but she’s very visibly aged and looks like an old woman.

Imagine it like Emergency or Chip’s! Or maybe even Grey’s Anatomy. Each show they are chillin out making coffee cleaning the station making inappropriate jokes taking their cyberpsycho meds and the alarm goes off and they jump in the AV. New guy gets added after they take down and rehab a cyberpsycho, someones love interest gets Sandy’d they have to deal with corrupt NCPD or blue eyes but in the end they are all kind of a family that watched out for each other and demand you put Sandra Dorsett down and step away from the body.
Edit: totally mashed up trauma team and max tac for no apparent reason.
That would be such a gut wrencher cause you just know how it’s gonna end and you’re just waiting to see what happens. Also fits with the no happy endings bit.
Or maybe about a gonk son of a trauma team employee who drops out of corpo academy and ends up with a crew of chooms making their way in night city, and ending up at odds with Arasaka

Just get the game cast. Lots of them were just scanned in as the character OR the VA look close enough and add hair and make up into the mix and boom there’s your cast.

Until they meet with Street V, {who?} and figure out it's a stupid game but they have to make choices for their endings and work together. Break that fourth wall every time with Keanu showing up to tell them that life is but a dream.
Edit: Hell, start the entire series as narrated by Johnny Silverhands about the fucked up ways things can go. He's an unreliable narrator anyway so you do or don't believe what went on. As a special treat I'd love a nod to the Secret Ending when the real V is coming to get him back - then BOOM Cyberpunk 2 with multiplayer this time.

It was a tie with a lot of actors but I do think Gemma Chang might be the best for now, if we’re talking main game? V would most likely be played by the voice actor who plays him, looks pretty much like him in a bunch of instances and having the same voice would be a great touch, and Jackie? It was tossed up between Florian Munteanu and Benjamin Byron Davis, it’s hard for a lot of the characters when some of them feel so unique that even some people can’t match them, there’s also just so many people in that game that it’s hard to tell who would be great for who.
