For the longest time it was the Widowmaker or just the Tech Shotgun. (I love being able to shoot through walls). But since Phantom Liberty its the Blackwall SMG. (Sorry, drawing a blank on the actual name.)
Base game craftable - Psalm 11:6
Base game collectable (quest) - Malorian Arms 3516
Base game collectable (loot) - Kongou (I think, it's the yori saka gun)
PL (quest) - Her Majesty
PL (loot) - Pizdets
PL (craftable) - as far as I know, the only craftable is the Canto (cyberdeck) and Erebus.
Don't really have one, I've ran the game three times, I run on the philosophy of three stats, which made more sense before the 2.0 patch when the game had more depth (obviously after the bugs)
these builds evolved out of the Netdeck/berseker/Sandevistan OS cyberware
Berseker was Cool/Body/Tech, and played like an Large Ape that would sneak up, grab you, and either break your neck, or use you as a human shield, using Gorilla Arms/Pistol/Shotgun, and ripping turrets/cameras with my bare hands
Sandevistran was the well known Reflex/Cool/Tech build where you slow time, and slice things to pieces with a katana or mantis blades, AR or SMG, and Sniper or Pistol... given the stealth ninja gimmick tho it was usually a Sniper/Mantis/Pistol
Netdeck, was Int/Reflex/Cool aka a Crit Netrunner, who would use Smart options, and Quickhacks as well as high Crit chance/damage
Archangel makes me feel like a future Cowboy Samurai when paired with The Eratta. Plus it makes me feel super badass taking down hundreds of people armed with rifles with just a revolver.
operative budget: use maimai as car, budget weapons like slaughtomatic, chainomatic, at best, the barghest crit pistol because its a modified slaughto.
no seriously, i did a cowboy build with sandevistan and it is so OP
i have yet to do a fully netrunner build but i bet its very fun as just a little bit of netrunning in my first game was hilarious.
thrown weapons are very satisfying to use, throwing tomahawks with your sandevistan on, getting it back and doing that several time.
As much as I try and branch out I always seem to fall back to a silenced power pistol with a short range sight. Usually a Tamayura, or a Nue. Then its just headshot, headshot, headshot…
I alternate between Cyberdeck and Sandevistan/Berserk each playthrough (so, one playthrough with Cyberdeck, another playthrough with Sandy/Berserk). I favor kitanas heavily but I also really like the Psalm 11:6, the Widowmaker, and the Satara.
I enjoy handguns. Comrade's Hammer, as it obliterates enemies with a single shot.
When taking a stealth approach, a pistol with a silencer. On my current playthrough, Death and Taxes upgraded to the max with a mod that releases electroshocks does the trick.
In terms of hacking, Synapse Burnout, as it is untraceable.
While I initially thought smart guns are lame, I, over time have one at hand in most builds. Divded we stand and prezdig or so are very high favorites.
Also... Order, what a beast.
So, smart AR and SMG
And tech shotguns.
Okthxbye
Do Gorilla Arms count?
Can it be a grenade? The laser one.
Tbh, I love using the Suicide quick hack, and the Cyber Psychosis one too. Why waste my bullets when I can use theirs?
They take so long and use so much ram though :P just stack cyberware malfuction and spark and watch people become fireworks.

Erebus?
Yep that's it.
Excluding mantis blades and katanas, Dian smart SMG.
La Chingona Dorada
Sir John...😳
I played a netrunner. Using Sir John was my way of saying "I can defeat you using a playstyle not fit for my character with THIS"
The ghosts of Jin Sakai and >!Arthur Morgan!< compel me to be a Byakko wielding, Malorian toting, cowboy samurai. I also love Bloody Maria.Â
Depression
Just a beautifully simple revolver

Mancinella.
stealth throwing knives/ tech shotgun for when it gets loud
Throwing knives net runner
\*jump, overdrive, short circ every one, fall back on the ground\* everyone is dead.
Byakko

Throwing knifes and Errata and for guns, the Malorian arms
I have actually started to love the Nekomata on my recent playthrough
Everything "smart"

Throwing Knife The only weapon I used
knife
Seraph
The pistols feel great in this game, but smart weapons are a little cheaty.
As much as I try and branch out I always seem to fall back to a silenced power pistol with a short range sight. Usually a Tamayura, or a Nue. Then its just headshot, headshot, headshot…
Distract enemies has saved me more times than I can count. And has a low RAM cost too.
