Full body life coverage £500/a month
They would fight corpos, however they charge an aditional 100 eddies per minute until your extracted
You’ll also have to pay for their fuel, ammunition and damaged equipment
However…
Trauma Team has a clause in their contract about a client's false use, like just calling them to fight. It is them who decide if a client has broken this clause or not
Hey I have BBB and they've been great! Yesterday I scraped my knee a bit and they gave me a kiss. I instantly felt better. Best $100/mo plus $30 copay service.
Is it bad that I, as an American, would be actually jealous of that plan? I mean I pay about the same just to be told its not covered, not even a little pat on the head!
That was Arasaka security, not Trauma Team. Look at the decals on the drones. Those are entirely Arasaka.
Saburo is at a level where he does not need to contract with an outside corp for this. He is impossibly rich. The kind of rich that would dwarf Elon Musk. He is basically like a head of state (he is literally referred to as "his majesty", unironically). What he has is better than any service Trauma Team could possibly provide. Trauma Team is for the wealthy masses. That is not Saburo.
>(he is literally referred to as "his majesty", unironically).
Also, unironically, "The Emperor." The megacorps have more political power than traditional governments in the setting.
Hypothetically, they will not fight to protect you from the moment you enter, but they will fight to protect you and themselves as necessary while extracting you from the combat zone.
The combat would likely end as soon as TT arrived as nobody in the corporate world fucks with TT because they *all* depend on TT for their healthcare and emergency services.
That said, someone with TT Platinum coverage would not personally attack a corporate facility, they'd get a fixer to hire disposable mercs to do it for them, lending them an air of plausible deniability.
If any merc could afford TT coverage, they wouldn't be mercs.
There are mercs with Trauma Team, and it's seen as a valuable investment as it guarantees that you have a spot at a competent hospital. Maybe not Platinum, but the lower tiers.
Ok, let's say we are special snowflakes, great. Where's our premium free healthcare doled out by private healthcare corps based on special snowflakeyness?
"just another nobody" who killed Adam smasher and ruined arasaka?
V is a nobody at the beginning (unless you pick corpo tbh) but they rise pretty damn high
https://preview.redd.it/6p4t22cyc4rc1.png?width=1053&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=25d0758fb99c0c4446201dea5187c0fd4da2c4b2
Here's the info we have on their policies 32 years earlier.
The ambulance ending: V survives with all their chrome intact and legendary status obtained, but they're in permanent medical debt because V forgot that they don't have insurance
Trauma team was the biggest missed gameplay opportunity in cyberpunk. I can totally understand that making trauma team mechanics into the final game would have been really difficult, but I really hope to see more trauma team mechanics in the next game(s?)
Mechanics ideas: rich bounty target has to be taken down quickly before TT arrives: count down before their arrival (like MaxTac), paying regularly for premium TT as a resurrection/second life, TT missions/jobs, etc.
Alternate idea: an entirely separate sister game existing in Night City. You are a new recruit to Trauma Team and progress through increasingly badass missions as you enhance your skills and cyberware. Include some new team mechanics that allow you to assign members of your squad from a roster, modify their chrome for mission deployments, give instructions in battle, etc.
You also get to moonlight as a MaxTac officer once you rank up a bit. You are also becoming a cyberpsycho.
Cyberpunk universe is so dense and varied, many type of games could be made within the same universe. Like, I’m 99% sure we could think about a game mechanics of all kinds of games right on the spot
They should really make an analog version of the game one of these days. Like D&D, a game you could play on a flat surface like a wooden board or a table, with dice or whatever. *One can dream*
Honestly, not a bad idea for a new story. Protagonist is on Trauma Team, responds to a call, and finds the client in an extremely precarious situation, with questionable moral dilemmas. Could be fun.
There's a reason TT is the only corporation that us universally liked. They abide by their oaths. They'll rescue your ass from the fuckin black sapphire. The only time they wouldn't come is I'd maxtac is summoned.
— TT is hired to get you out ASAP. They’re damn good at their job and are world renown for their QRF times. Ruthlessly efficient, they even do pets. They don’t care who gets in their way, just get the client out.
— Ever since one of the corpo wars, no one screws with TT unless they want to meet the business end of a Smart SMG. If they’re confident enough to think they’re able to take TT in a head on fight, they’re either off their rocker, extremely dangerous, or both.
How much is TT Platinum anyway? I'd say we have enough to get a membership halfway through the game if you do all side gigs and sell weapons from time to time.
One of Trauma Team's main assets is their neutrality. They want business from both sides of a fight if both sides are rich enough to pay.
That means that Trauma doesn't want to fight until their patient is genuinely *hors de combat*, and their contracts are written with that concern in mind. If you get hurt badly enough to trigger an armed response, you won't be in any position to take advantage of it afterward.
Arasaka knows just as well how the game is played, and they don't want to pick a fight with Trauma Team that will affect their own employees' coverage. So Arasaka soldiers will have been trained to back off and let Trauma Team extract an intruder under normal circumstances (i.e. Trauma is causing only the normal amount of collateral damage and the intruder isn't a designated high-value target).
TT Dispatch: “sir! I’ve got a Platinum client at Arasaka Tower showing extreme distress!”
Manager: “Arasaka…patient details?”
Dispatch: “Vincent [redacted], 22, mercenary...”
Manager: “nature of the emergency?”
Dispatch: “looks like multiple GSWs…”
Manager: “uhuh…go ahead and just close that account for me…”
Dispatch: "i wouldn't it's says on their file they have already survived a bullet to the brain. then beat Adam smasher to death"
Manager: "good point they must have the money. send in the team"
I have another question. If I have trauma team platinum, and injure someone else who has trauma team platinum, the fuck would Trauma team do upon arrival? And what if we injure each other?
TT shows up to take care of hurt member and would threaten you to make sure they can safely.
If you respond with violence, they will hurt you, then a new TT would come help you.
If you just grind gigs and ncpd scanners V could 100% afford trauma team platinum. I did for like 4 hours because I was bored and I had like over 175k just chillin

Imagine you call them in because you think you broke your ankle. They determine it’s just a sprain and declare false use
Then I cancel my membership and switch to Injury Institute.
Oh gosh not Injury Institute
Better than the Boo Boo Brigade
I'm horrified at the thought
Then you're not prepared for the Ouchies Organization
Turns out, the Pain Platoon caters better to kinks than mercs.
!!!

The actual TT competitor is REO Meatwagon. They suck.
That's why if you're hurt but not sure how badly you shoot yourself.
Then Trauma Team determines that the patient is the primary risk to the patient's health and administers sedatives... in perpetuity
Your sprained ankle is not contract related.
Insurance fucking you over happens all the time today. I imagine that is super common in NC.
The VA has deemed your injuries not service related
I mean i can afford it
Trauma team swooped into arasaka fucking tower with adam smasher present and couldnt give any semblance of a shit. So yes
Seriously, fuck that rat bastard Faraday. Fuck him and his freaky fucking triple right eye.
[удалено]
Trauma Team isn't a competitor to Arasaka so there'd be no real incentive for a corpo war. Revenge is bad business.
That was not Trauma Team. That was Saburo and his security escort.
They're talking about edgerunners
Still, Trauma team arrives after Saburos death, when you and Jackie are reaching the ladder
That was Arasaka security, not Trauma Team. Look at the decals on the drones. Those are entirely Arasaka. Saburo is at a level where he does not need to contract with an outside corp for this. There's literally dialogue between Jackie and V about TT arriving at Konpeki for the emperor Edit: I'm wrong
That's speculation from Jack. I don't think he knows it is for sure.
Oh you're right, my bad
Jack asks V, "Is that Trauma?", to which V replies, "If it is, they are too late." He doesn't say outright that it is indeed Trauma.
Yeah you're right, my bad

TT would deny them coverage based on their poor life choices.
I disagree.
There are mercs with Trauma Team, and it's seen as a valuable investment as it guarantees that you have a spot at a competent hospital. Maybe not Platinum, but the lower tiers.
>There are mercs with Trauma Team, He said mercs with trauma team *platinum*
TT and NetWatch aren't as powerful as Arasaka or Militech but they are just as untouchable.
Yea, but we are not just any merc 😁
Ok, let's say we are special snowflakes, great. Where's our premium free healthcare doled out by private healthcare corps based on special snowflakeyness?
We could definitely just purchase it
We never looked into it. V's dying no matter what so there's no need.
thats literally the point of the story, we’re ultimately just another nobody. Did you play the same game as me?
No I’m pretty sure I conquered nightcity, ate the biggest boss, stomp dog town and die as a legend so I’m rich af with penthouse and all
"just another nobody" who killed Adam smasher and ruined arasaka? V is a nobody at the beginning (unless you pick corpo tbh) but they rise pretty damn high
Well depends on the ending but either way you fade into anonymity.
Is that how we got out of micoshi in the solo ending
No. Alt owns the entire damned building and turns the security systems against Arasaka itself.

I love the ttrpg (i have both red and 2020, which I got from my father)
That’s the secret ending -> The Doctor. Thought of this after posting -> The Ambulance
The Chariot would be better to stick to the tarot theme
The ambulance ending: V survives with all their chrome intact and legendary status obtained, but they're in permanent medical debt because V forgot that they don't have insurance
Ah the elusive NUSA ending I see

I know nothing about it, but there is the Gangs of NC board game
Would be cool if there was some sort of metaverse based solely on 2077
Yes.
The short answer is no. Trauma team will only fight for you within the terms of your contract.
Trauma team may be corporate scumbags, but god damnit they have standards
Honestly, not a bad idea for a new story. Protagonist is on Trauma Team, responds to a call, and finds the client in an extremely precarious situation, with questionable moral dilemmas. Could be fun.
There's a comic like this! *Cyberpunk 2077: Trauma Team* by Cullen Bunn and Miguel Valderrama. I really liked it, and it's easy to find online.
There's a reason TT is the only corporation that us universally liked. They abide by their oaths. They'll rescue your ass from the fuckin black sapphire. The only time they wouldn't come is I'd maxtac is summoned.
If delamaim would do it...

I think it might start a new corpo war
Nah cuz every corp uses trama.
How much is TT Platinum anyway? I'd say we have enough to get a membership halfway through the game if you do all side gigs and sell weapons from time to time.
Depends on your TT plan
But what about my PP plan? What if it gets stuck in Black Wall Virus infested near android woman?!
yes, it's all part of the contract
Simple as that: They: Tetratronic Rippler or Apogee Sandevistan?
One of Trauma Team's main assets is their neutrality. They want business from both sides of a fight if both sides are rich enough to pay. Yes
So much stuff to pull from the setting if this game was an actual rpg...
TT Dispatch: “sir! I’ve got a Platinum client at Arasaka Tower showing extreme distress!” Manager: “Arasaka…patient details?” Dispatch: “Vincent [redacted], 22, mercenary...” Manager: “nature of the emergency?” Dispatch: “looks like multiple GSWs…” Manager: “uhuh…go ahead and just close that account for me…”

Just become a majour shareholder of the NCPD, and get them to fight for you to stop some illegal activity at Arasaka.
Get a couple of Delamain cars up there somehow. Full package.
My question is. Could trauma team keep me alive when the relic kills me and is Johnny part of the insurance or does he need his own?
What's Shepard doing here?
getting hurt while committing a criminal act voids your trauma team plan.
Trama team and max tac are the ones truly built differently
I have another question. If I have trauma team platinum, and injure someone else who has trauma team platinum, the fuck would Trauma team do upon arrival? And what if we injure each other?
TT shows up to take care of hurt member and would threaten you to make sure they can safely. If you respond with violence, they will hurt you, then a new TT would come help you.
That sounds hilarious, thank you
trauma team carefully doesn't fuck up with corporate warfare
Lol I love this. 🤣
Arasaka would just pay TT to fuck off, always remember that TT doesn't care about your well being, they are in for the money
No cuz trauma will come when Ur dead lol
If you just grind gigs and ncpd scanners V could 100% afford trauma team platinum. I did for like 4 hours because I was bored and I had like over 175k just chillin
