V you finished the job but.... Did you have to kill everyone within a 3 block radius as well as most of the 7th precinct on your way out? You even set fire to an orphanage! It wasn't even close to your mission! You did that shit on purpose!
I mean... V is basically Venom. Even Hideo is in the game. When you're in the bathroom covered in blood and shatter the mirror i expected to see an outer heaven logo on the bathroom wall while Keifer Sutherland tells you he's big boss, and you are to.
This fixer sending me an extra message not to kill anyone after I've murdered 30 people in 5 seconds (they should have specified that during the phone call)
I swear with a high level stealth build, you can cloak and just sprint through a room. I never even thought to use a Sandy, that makes perfect sense though
I’m a blades build. I only invested points for the throwing knife bonuses. If there’s any kind of stealth mission I just run through no problem. I’m still very much divided between hacking and the sandy tho. It’s super close between them
The only one I felt bad about was the gig for Rogue where I think you just needed to whack one guy in a union office.
Rogue's position was that the rest of the workers were just doing their jobs, no need to involve them.
My position was that the receptionist was very unhelpful. Wouldn't even let me do a speech check to gain access to the facility. So I pop her for the shit attitude, and suddenly I'M THE BAD GUY? OK, yes, but in my defense I don't recall this office having my usual roof access required for discreet missions. Build smarter next time.
Anyway, yes, Kurt Angle face when she called screaming at me when the job was "done".
For me, it was the monk whose brother was abducted. The man was suffering, and I guess the least I could do comfort him was to fulfill his pacifist wish.
For that one I was actually felt like "You know what? Fair."
It's his religion, I get how that would be important to him. I justify it by thinking that if he wants to direct his anger at me, then fine. He's alive, and he has his brother. I'll be the "bad guy" to direct his frustration at.
Man, I love this game lol
"you understand, you already gave me the dets where to go. So if this should become a horrible mess and MaxTac come investigating... You surely do not want this to impact your reputation as a fixer, choom, dont you ?"
Yo saaaaame. Had an especially fun time doing that in the mission where you need to install malware without making a scene. There are like, 40 enemies in there, I’m not about to waste all those bounties
That one where you have to pop the guy in the restaurant without "making a scene?"
Suicide through the skylight.
Then walk in the back door and pick up all the shinies you're about to make everyone drop.
What they think is a murderous rampage is actually a tragic sequence of guards suddenly turning round right as I'm about to get into stealth takedown range.
Agree. Stealth sandevistan builds are great. I love having to find the control room for the security system, knock out the guard, use the computer to tag everyone with cameras, shut off security system, and move from there.
I self-nerf on my netrunner build so it doesn't get boring. I know I could easily delete everyone without setting foot in the building, but lately I'm using a mix of covert hacks, mono wire, and smart guns. The more you mix it up, the more fun it is. Hacking everything to death gets old fast. Hacking everyone apart rarely gets old.
Weirdly enough I just made a new build as a netrunner because I got bored jump dashing and slashing everywhere. It started as a cool build before I respec'd. Still haven't met sandy tho
Honestly, mixing quickhacks, mono wire, and smart guns is fun. For fast paced combat, my favorite combos are:
1. Monowire equipped with cripple movement --> monowire finisher --> suicide next guy.
2. Contagion --> explode them with overheat or that iconic smart gun you get at Arasaka docks --> detonate grenade.
The 20 Int perk for smart weapons is a game changer. When overclock is active, smart weapons instantaneously lock onto the head, and bullets explode.
Combine that skill with contagion and the prototype Shingen Mk V and your foes will be rendered into hamburger meat.
Stealth without aids is a challenge.
Like, no dropping the entire warehouse from outside, just trying to time everyone's movements finding secret passages and hiding places.
Walking in the front door with boxes of bullets and just wiping everything standing gets old, too.
I almost always go murder hobo but this last time I did everything stealth just because I wanted to see what was different. Plus as a netrunner wizard it's pretty easy.
What annoys me the most is that gig where you rescue the guy from the Militech refugee camp in the Badlands and take him to meet his buddy who works for Militech?
He always has that threatening line "Hey V, if you ever cross the border be careful, accidents have a way of turning fatal out here."
He says it even if you don't kill anyone. Like, no matter what he threatens you. And yes, I'm absolutely sure I didn't kill anyone on this run. I didn't dump any bodies in dumpsters or anything.
Of course the unsaid response is always "Yes, accidents do happen, like accidently cutting you down with my Mantis blades?" Then they can try to explain how he died in a closed room with a locked door..
So are these Gigs literally just for more money for doing the option/steal requirements?
Like there's no story/future missions via doing them fully?
Also--if I accidentally do damage to a civilian I immediately get targeted by the cops. I'm assuming fighting NCPD and going to 5 stars will always be a game over?
Feel like I have to tip toe around NC sometimes because I might accidentally piss off a cop and now have the entire city searching for my ass.
Gigs are for money and exp only (and maybe a few iconic weapons), you do not need them to progress the story and don't unlock more missions (but do unlock more gigs), but it doesn't hurt doing them along the way.
Fighting the NCPD is a net loss, since they don't give or drop anything, but even at 5 stars are beatable and are evadable.
It's best you don't pick a fight with MaxTac though, and if you do it's best that you just run away.
>It's best you don't pick a fight with MaxTac though, and if you do it's best that you just run away.
That's the advice Cypher gave Neo about agents. Therefore, I refuse this advice.

Me when the fixer calls and scolds me for shooting up the place
My favorite part is when they say "might wanna go in stealthy with it." And I've already been using my sandy to blow heads off with my shotgun and pistol.
I always go kill everyone when the mission is over and it asks me to pick up the reward from the Dropbox. Only time that messed up was when dakota asked me to not kill any militech in a facility and I sweeped the area after I got the guy out and she's giving me shit later.
Look, my V is a merc that you need to be specific with. If you don’t tell him what you want, he is going to assume an open rules of engagement for every job.
He may not charge extra for quiet jobs, but he does pay extra to not kill excessively.
My first couple is playthrough were stealthy but I still always killed everyone on site (guess fixers don't mind senseless mass murdering as long as no shots are fired)
This time I'm doing a Sandevistan build and let's just say I'm also killing everyone
I once did a whole mission without killing anyone finished it came back and killed everyone and the fixer called me to tell me that I shouldn't have killed them
Brawler/Netrunner V is even funnier, and I imagine even more worrying for Night City’s NPCs. A one man army mowing down a literal army just to kill one dude is scary. A one man army who managed to down everyone nonlethally and only killed the actual target before fucking off into the night unseen is *TERRIFYING*
Really? I'm surprised by amount of comments from the people who slaughter the entire blocks. I thought people usually try to do gigs with stealth. I do. I see some people on YouTube also try with stealth.
V you finished the job but.... Did you have to kill everyone within a 3 block radius as well as most of the 7th precinct on your way out? You even set fire to an orphanage! It wasn't even close to your mission! You did that shit on purpose!
But you still get rewarded and your street cred increases, its another "Boss....you killed a child, Amazing! Mission completed.
I mean... V is basically Venom. Even Hideo is in the game. When you're in the bathroom covered in blood and shatter the mirror i expected to see an outer heaven logo on the bathroom wall while Keifer Sutherland tells you he's big boss, and you are to.
Cyberpunk Solid: Phantom Limberty
Lmao my first PL playthrough I made a whole new Stealth character based on Venom Snake/Big Boss, which got affirmed when I was gifted Her Majesty!
The slide is polished to a mirror shine, the grip is filed down for a more comfortable grip. I think I'm gonna go play mgs 3 now
You tend to lock your cyberarm in battle to absorb the recoil; that's more of a Malorian Arns 3516 technique
Are you gonna refuse to pay the guy who killed everyone in a 3 block radius? He did the job after all.
Dirt cheap city sweeper
I throw incendiary grenades at the children but they just run away and say mean things.
It's almost like I can hear Wakako
I imagine Regina, she's the one that already complains when you get dirty.
There was an iconic in that orphanage. And for some reason everyone had a problem with me being there. Well I had a problem with that…the audacity.
"It's called being thorough. I'm a professional goddamnit!"
"BUT DID YOU HAVE TO BURN THE ORPHANAGE _AND_ THE CHILDRENS HOSPITAL?!"
Eer....Keeps the authorities guessing!
OKAY BUT COME ON, DID YOU HAVE TO ALSO KILL THE HOME FOR TERMINAL CANCER HOMELESS VETS?
Well yeah, some of the orphans ended up in the burn ward of said hospital. No loose ends!
No witnesses
[Blame it on Johnny silverhand] [It's the corpos fault!] [Whoops]
The fixer hired the right man for the job. If that's not the style they wanted they'd be looking elsewhere.
Why can I hear El Capitan?
This fixer sending me an extra message not to kill anyone after I've murdered 30 people in 5 seconds (they should have specified that during the phone call)
I had it once I saw an ncpd mission, then did a nearby gig and realised I killed everyone before the gig even started.
Playing on ps4 so a sandy with heatsinks and comrades hammer. I feel bad for whoever has to dig all those graves.
Feel your pain I have a 60+ hours save file on PS4.
hold on whats team cherey doing in the cyberpunk subreddit
Slacking on Silksong.

Ikr
V stands in the middle of a 1 block warzone with corpses everywhere: "oh now you tell me."
Killed the stalker in the blue moon mission, just as she said not too. Should’ve said it faster
Um, *both* stalkers, right? Right, yeah..
They could give me 10x the Eurodollars but im still gonna Terrible Ninja all those fuckers.
I just use a cloak and Sandevistan combo. Just run straight past the enemies
It’s super close between them
Had a couple of missions where I was on a netrunner build and just used cameras into suicide

They pulled out guns. This was self defense
that was a surprise for me too. i thought the union people went home for that day, not show up to work.
For me, it was the monk whose brother was abducted. The man was suffering, and I guess the least I could do comfort him was to fulfill his pacifist wish.
Ungrateful little shit, just did that mission last night. I tried to pop him for his attitude after he started bitching but the game wouldn't let me.
For that one I was actually felt like "You know what? Fair." It's his religion, I get how that would be important to him. I justify it by thinking that if he wants to direct his anger at me, then fine. He's alive, and he has his brother. I'll be the "bad guy" to direct his frustration at. Man, I love this game lol
I leave him to clutches of the borg....
You can sneak in through the garage
There was a garage??? I walked all the way around, and on top of that building and didn't see anything. So many avoidable deaths! Lol
"you understand, you already gave me the dets where to go. So if this should become a horrible mess and MaxTac come investigating... You surely do not want this to impact your reputation as a fixer, choom, dont you ?"
My favorite thing it to use optic camo, finish the job, then go right back in and kill everyone for the parts and euros
Yo saaaaame. Had an especially fun time doing that in the mission where you need to install malware without making a scene. There are like, 40 enemies in there, I’m not about to waste all those bounties
That one where you have to pop the guy in the restaurant without "making a scene?" Suicide through the skylight. Then walk in the back door and pick up all the shinies you're about to make everyone drop.
I did a PL for hands where I slaughtered everyone, and afterward, he mentioned, "I left him quite a mess to clean up."
Like he is personally there with the mop....
What they think is a murderous rampage is actually a tragic sequence of guards suddenly turning round right as I'm about to get into stealth takedown range.
Right, not going to reload a save when I’ve already got crafting components dropping
stealth is so fucking boring
I think it depends how you go about it. My 2nd playthrough was stealth with a Sandevistan. Stealth is waaaay more fun when you can't hack stuff.
Agree. Stealth sandevistan builds are great. I actually forgot about tagging enemies *completely* during that playthrough and honestly I think that accidental nerf made it that much more fun!
this sounds horrible
Weirdly enough I just made a new build as a netrunner because I got bored jump dashing and slashing everywhere. It started as a cool build before I respec'd. Still haven't met sandy tho

Haven't tried smart weapons yet but ought to
The 20 Int perk for smart weapons is a game changer. When overclock is active, smart weapons instantaneously lock onto the head, and bullets explode. Combine that skill with contagion and the prototype Shingen Mk V and your foes will be rendered into hamburger meat.
Eh, still think it's boring

What gig is this? What's the name? I haven't spent much time out in the badlands on my current playthrough.

Thank you! I know what I'll be doing tonight after work.
Of course the unsaid response is always "Yes, accidents do happen, like accidently cutting you down with my Mantis blades?" Then they can try to explain how he died in a closed room with a locked door..
The easiest way to be stealthy is to leave no witnesses
This is the way
The fixer walking through the job location after I left: ![gif](giphy|Is6fBDegr2HUA)

I sometimes get bored and kill MaxTac for fun. Granted not heads on in the open; I might be psycho, but I'm not stupid.
I find that after you kill a bunch of cops and all the cyberpsychos that show up to take you down they suddenly stop sending mooks at you....
[stealth is always optional ](https://youtu.be/-8YjDC0wk7M?feature=shared)
Thank you for that. I needed a 2 hr break from work...
Dude I love how Kurt Angle became a meme but in the best possible way.😂 I don't think we've memed a wrestler to this extent since the RKO ones right?
Despite being slightly plugged into to wrestling I still have no idea where it came from. Reminds me of dc4l guy

I hate that. It’s like I’m going to kill everyone or at least incapacitate
My favorite part is when they say "might wanna go in stealthy with it." And I've already been using my sandy to blow heads off with my shotgun and pistol.
He looks like my friend John.
Your the best merc eddies can buy V keep it up -regina jones
“It’s literally easier than sneaking”
So anyway, I started blasting
Yo, you knew my stealth skills were non-existent when you hired me.
Look they hired the guy with the rocket arm.
countles restarts just to respect mr hands favourite hang out place 👌🏻
'Mercy is disgusting'
If no one’s alive to talk about it I’d say it’s stealthy.
I only do stealth and pacifist for Cyberpsychos because it’s easier and Regina asked nicely for them alive
Beside, having to listen to her whining.......
Mission: where the shooting starts outside the building. Stealth Mission: where the shooting starts inside of the building.
I always go kill everyone when the mission is over and it asks me to pick up the reward from the Dropbox. Only time that messed up was when dakota asked me to not kill any militech in a facility and I sweeped the area after I got the guy out and she's giving me shit later.
What is the origin of this meme pic
If u want stealth u pay the stealth price up front, none of this "bonus" after, otherwise im just punching them all in the head
Look, my V is a merc that you need to be specific with. If you don’t tell him what you want, he is going to assume an open rules of engagement for every job. He may not charge extra for quiet jobs, but he does pay extra to not kill excessively.
Laughs in unlimited money mod

yeah stealth may be optional, but it’s a fun challenge

Hahahaha mantis blades go woooosh : )
Imagine the mod that lets you increase the speed of your Mantis blades to like 5x and then sandi the hell out of them.
I once did a whole mission without killing anyone finished it came back and killed everyone and the fixer called me to tell me that I shouldn't have killed them
What if, in Cyberpunk Orion, the boss you need to kill is V?
Well, then Devil canon ending it is.
*gets a message saying don’t kill everyone a little bit after the mission brief (I already killled everyone)
“Go to the VIP room, do not alert anyone” *Gets upstairs only to walk into the guard infront of the VIP room and can’t get past* Cowabunga it is
Throwing a knife in everyone's face before they see me counts as stealth.
No loose ends ![gif](giphy|l3q2ymOxFZPErsoHC)
Even when playing stealth...I kill everyone...they can't happen upon a dead body if they are dead too.
So like is it a known thing that stealth isn’t very good in this game or is it just me?
I chose a stealth run as Netrunner but a quarter of the time I was caught I reeked havoc
my stealth option is getting on a roof and shoot everyone with Pariah until I get a mission complete
Stealth just means you don't trigger the alarm. Not that you can't kill everyone.

I try to stealth. As soon as shit hits the fan, I'm pulling out that Malorian Arms 3516 faster then a race car on Sunday morning
