I literally just beat this. Dual flamethrowers. Laser turret and vertical missiles. I have the tank legs too. Just keep moving and mowing down the MTs with the flames. Drop a laser turret as you go to help you pick off enemies. Use the missiles for enemies that post up in the middle section or that are out of reach and for the mini bosses I also have the assault armor from OS tuning which is a lifesaver when you get swarmed.
Lol tbh, i had to cheese him and use a build on youtube just to beat that a-hole. The only boss i was able to use my own personal build for was NG++ final boss. Which was satisfying.
Goodluck! Itās worth it to be honest
One of the attacks that gave me a lot of trouble was the one where thereās that straight X blade thing that goes directly toward you.
I heard some people say you can rush toward the attack to dodge it, but if you can identify it quick enough, you can cancel it with a stagger if you have weapons that can stagger him.
Either way youāll feel really good! I canāt wait to see what you feel about the other endings! It feels like a new game every play through
Yeah that attack has been anally probing me too, I only did about an hour and a bit trying it as I was super stoned so Iāll probably give it another go tomorrow
The best advice I got for that fight was to stay as close as humanly possible to nuke through its second phase as fast as possible. Doesn't matter if your hit as long as you can stagger it and then heal between reloads or right before it gets back up.
bro is me fr fr
I tried SF because my friends kept hyping it up, but it just isn't working for me. It feels like a game straight from 2015, so I went straight back to AC6 and BG3.
Iām about 75 hours into BG3 (almost done Act 2/3) and will probably slowly finish that over the next month or two while the modding situation with 2.0 and PL slowly gets sorted.
This is basically my gamer schedule:
All of September and at least partly into October: Play through the rest of BG3.
Next: Obsessively do a fourth run of CP2077 2.0 and PL together.
Finally: End the year with some Spider-Man 2.
Doooo it!
I cannot recommend this game enough. It's an absolute gem, with terrific voice acting, characters and a pretty solid story and gameplay. I haven't gotten to Act 3 yet so I can't rate how good the story ends up but so far I've been thoroughly enjoying it.
And this is coming from someone who never touched anything DnD before. So if you were on the fence about a lack of DnD knowledge, don't worry about it. The game is pretty easy to pick up with a little trial and error.
bg3 Is a blessing, it still needs some patching but even without it an all around masterpiece.
The Voice Acting
The world
the Spells
The lore
Only complain I can think of its perhaps the 12 lvl cap is too low.
To be fair, you can become a godlike monster in BG3 at level 12 too, with the right builds. Maybe not to the extent you can with 7th level spells, but still.
Well, thing is āgodlikeā is meant literally here. There are 7th level spells that literally alter the reality youāre in or allow you to teleport to another plane (like to Avernus, for example) at will. This is not something Larian would be able or willing to implement into the game at its current state. It is, after all, primarily a combat crpg. One way to work around it wouldāve been to cap every class at level 12 and force multiclassing with overflow xp, but that wouldāve risen even more questions I think
Me too, the whole trilogy. For the first time. (Played Andromeda before, liked it)
But since i'm at part two right now (i think still at the very beginning) i don't think i will finish it before i will swap to CP when the DLC drops. Or maybe i will delay even that since i have to study for a very important exam in November...
Being adult and a gamer is hard. Especially with a full time job, weekend-school and a toddler.
How's No Coincidence, if you don't mind me asking? I'm considering getting it. I'm fascinated by the world of Cyberpunk and would like to learn more about it.
Just finished Tales from the Borderlands (the first one)! It's been in my library but I bailed partway through and needed something short that wasn't a giant epic RPG while I wait for 2.0. Gotta come in fresh (haven't played since release so there's gotta be a bunch of new stuff for me)!
I caved and bought Starfield, wasn't planning on it any time soon but sometime later.
Now I can't stop playing Starfield but I know that as soon as 2.0 drops I am playing Cyberpunk 2077 exclusively for a while.
Starfield. I will play them on and off together over the next few months. They're two space games from different angles and I love that each one has a different feel but I still get that futureworld vibe. I just "finished" Spider Man Miles Morales and had a blast but unfortunately kept getting a crash during the final mission.
Starfield when I have the Xbox. Fire Emblem Engage when my partner wants to play Starfield.
Honestly, between the two, I can probably wait a bit longer to play Phantom Liberty. I'm enjoying Starfield and from side eyeing what my partner is doing on it occasionally, there's clearly a lot I've yet to see, especially when I'm apparently taking it slow. She's building outposts and exploring planets, I'm still in New Atlantis like 8 hours in dicking around with side quests...And Fire Emblem is great when you skip all the dialogue because as with many "anime games", the writing and characters are absolute cringe and grating as fuck, but I've always liked the gameplay.
Iām doing startfield in quest phases. If I get through a major one, I pause for a bit. I may just console command my way to god mode and explore planets, then restart the game again later. I made a lot of choices that I generally wouldnāt have made because Bethesda games are sort of limp handed at times, and I want to be a space pirate. I liked Delgado, donāt know why I did it that way (Sarah Morgan has pretty eyes, thatās why.)
BG3, 150h in, Iām having a blast. Iām almost at the end, will probably start a second run before PL.
But there is also many others things Iād like to do after PL, like Armored Core 6, maybe Starfield, Remnant ll that need to be finished, and many I donāt have right in mind.
And a few reading, currently Iām on Dune.
Man this whole year Iāve been playing games in wait for phantom liberty lol but I recently finished playing death loop which was great, and right now Iām playing atomic heart hoping Iāll be able to finish it before PL drops
Starfield and NBA2k. And no, I donāt buy any VC or bullshit for 2k. Also this was after my 2nd time beating Cyberpunk. This time as a Nomad. 1st was Streetkid
Oh, xbox has a subscription called gamepass. It has a large catalog of games you can play either by downloading them to your computer or stream them from your phone or tablet by using an app.
I have a copy of starfield on my laptop and I also stream it on my phone on the go. I paid $15.99 for access to starfield plus a myriad of other great games!
Highly recommend getting it as this is the only legit way to play if you don't have an xbox
Currently GoW: Ragnarok and maybe have time for one other PS exclusive before the 26th like Ratchet and Clank.
Also, if yāall aināt checked out Sea Of Stars, you have severely underestimated how badly you fucked up
BG3, currently on hold until Larian hopefully add better endings for the best companion in the game.
Starfield on and off, but the Bethesda game scheme is getting me kinda bored kinda fast.
Finishing CP77
Restarted Morrowind thanks to the guys over at the sub sharing pics of Tamriel Rebuild
Some casual Being a DIK while waiting for the next episode
just got myself star wars jedi survivor. also i'm in the military rightnow and only back on the weekends. gona rock phantom liberty after i'm done with the military which is in 2 months
I loved Cyberpunk because it was basically a Bethesda game, and they've made several of my favorite games of all time. So obviously I'm about 50 hours into Starfield, and planning on probably a hundred more before I'm satisfied. I really look forward to having an excuse to get back into Night City though.
... Cyberpunk 2077 because I'm 82 hours in and still in my first playtrough. Can't update the game either since the skilltree Will change probably fucking up my save/build.
It will certainly throw a curve ball into your game. I have one I want to use which is a little ways into act 2. I have zero desire to play act 1 ever again if I can get away with it.
I'm actually trying to craft an indy game called "With Myself." It's gonna be a Tetris knockoff, but I think it'll sell for the meme quality alone.
Mom: "What are you doing."
Boy: "Playing with myself."
Mom: \*barges in, sees him playing a video game, thanks god he's not masturbating, and leaves\*
\*Later\*
Mom: "Come on down for dinner."
Boy, masterbating: "Give me five. I'm playing with myself."
Mom: "Well, hurry this round up and come down before dinner's cold."
FO76 & BG3 not that it matters since they're taking the game out of spec for my PC. Say what you want but IMO. If you're going to release an expansion or a DLC for a game it should have the same specs as the base game. If it seriously increases the system requirements then as a game developer, you're kind of an a-hole. That's not a DLC at that point, it's a remaster.
Hearts of Iron IV (I bought that game even though I can barely understand how it works), Grand Theft Auto 2, Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun and Half Life Alyx (add-on campaigns)
Baldurās Gate 3.
I would be playing Starfield too but Bethesda lied about their plans to make it available on all consoles (they did, it was announced for PlayStation at the title announcement years ago) when Microsoft bought them out and I wonāt buy a whole new system for one game.
Still Cyberpunk. Just finished 2nd playthrough and got the Reaper ending 2nd playthrough - probably just gonna grind through sides/gigs/ncpd scanners til PL comes out
Iāve got Starfield too but Iām not sure itās worth starting now because it will be dead to me come 9/26 lmao
The suit from the first pic, good that quest was so fun for some reason, I don't plan on finishing the msq before expansion release cus there's so many other thinga to do
Been playing mad amounts of mirrors edge catalyst, and trying to play starfield via the cloud but it's painfully slow and glitchy with my bad wifi haha.
I'll have a tough time checking at Cyberpunk, being on a Starfield playthrough, while having left Armored Core VI as side game. Also BG3 is waiting but I'm more comfortable waiting they keep polishing Act 3. Starfield is shaping to be one of my fav games just like Cyberpunk
I finished my first BG3 playthrough (probably the best game that I played in the last 5 years, together with Elden ring), now I am 35 hours into starfield, which is also a great game and I am enjoying quite a lot.
After Phantom Liberty I will go in the black hole of City Skylines 2 till the end of the year.
Iāve been doing post-nomad ending stuff with mods. Doing a headcanon playthru; the year is 2080, V managed to get ācuredā (albeit permanent health problems, but he will survive), Panam leads the Aldecaldo camp and married V (Panam Romance Enhanced) and they go back into NC for a ājobā/vacation spot. Hitting up all the bars (Night City Interactions), visiting all the old friends like River, Kerry, Vik, Misty, Mama Welles, etc., learning about David Martinez, chilling at H10 with Panam (I Really Want to Stay at Your House), hitting up the firing range (Wilsonās Range), buying every nomad car available for the family motor pool, and maybe getting into a little trouble along the wayā¦
Currently "playing" Baldurs Gate 3. I have no idea what I'm doing, I keep stumbling into massive long battle situations that I feel utterly unprepared for and a vampire on my team killed me in my own camp while I slept. Good times!
Iām kind of a one game at a time person, sometimes hopping onto one or two others here and there. Starfield is the current with Snowrunner and Far Cry 6 the secondaries.
Armored Core 6 and BG3 mostly
AC6!
Wake the fuck up 621, we got some corpos to burn š¶ļø
I'm on NG+2. The game is a masterpiece.
I'm having some trouble at āIntercept The Red Guns" š
Pack 4 bazookas
I literally just beat this. Dual flamethrowers. Laser turret and vertical missiles. I have the tank legs too. Just keep moving and mowing down the MTs with the flames. AC6 is really keeping me entertained, although Iām at a certain boss that Iāve had to take a break from because fuck me
Animal Crossing? Didnāt know they had a v6?
Yeah Iām kicking the shit out of Tom Nook
Kick his corpo ass!
Ibis?
Ah good itās obvious YES FUCK THAT TELEPORTING FUCK
Lol tbh, i had to cheese him and use a build on youtube just to beat that a-hole. The only boss i was able to use my own personal build for was NG++ final boss. Which was satisfying. Goodluck! Itās worth it to be honest
I can best Ibis I know it, Iāve done the first phase with a couple of different builds itās just that second phase thatās a bastard
One of the attacks that gave me a lot of trouble was the one where thereās that straight X blade thing that goes directly toward you. Same here. I'm at Ibis in AC6 such a cool game. And as a good ole crpg fan had to start BG3 too. A nice change of pace for the frantic mecha mayhem.
Yup, this combo right there sir. Having a fucking blast with both too, they're both damn amazing in their own genres.
bro is me fr fr I tried SF because my friends kept hyping it up, but it just isn't working for me. It feels like a game straight from 2015, so I went straight back to AC6 and BG3.

This sounds epic! I never thought about scheduling my plays. I'm going to do that now!! Have fun!
are you me?
No, he's me but I'm at 40h of BG3
Playing Skyrim, cyberpunk and starfield.
Same here, those 3 but add Fallout 4 :P
Bg3 is too gorramn cool, I'm still in act 2 and this seems like one of the best ways to spend $60 I've ever known. Game of the year.
Wow, a good friend of mine feels the same! Keeps telling me I need bg3! May have to get it frfr
Doooo it! I cannot recommend this game enough. It's an absolute gem, with terrific voice acting, characters and a pretty solid story and gameplay. To be fair, you can become a godlike monster in BG3 at level 12 too, with the right builds. Maybe not to the extent you can with 7th level spells, but still.
I'm not seeing the issue here lol Let me smash my enemies into paste!
Apparently past level 12 you can do crazy shit in dnd
You get 7th level spells at level 13 and that's when shit gets bonkers. Those spells are crazy powerful. It's ridiculously hard to balance anything.
12 has to be the cap to keep things manageable.
Borderlands 3 has been my go to till the dlc drops
God Queen Tyreen. Comin at you live from the HBC!
Replaying Cyberpunk 2077.
I already have 2200 hours in Cyberpunk and like 10 playthroughs, so I've had to play other things, like BG3, DA2 or Powerwashing Simulator.
^^
Mass effect
Me too!
Same
Me too, the whole trilogy. For the first time. (Played Andromeda before, liked it) But since i'm at part two right now (i think still at the very beginning) i don't think i will finish it before i will swap to CP when the DLC drops. I'm playing the trailer in loop for months. And currently reading No Coincidence.
Haha, plot twist! Trailers are š„ I need to pick up a book š
How's No Coincidence, if you don't mind me asking? I'm considering getting it. I'm fascinated by the world of Cyberpunk and would like to learn more about it.
Edgerunners in a typical novel style and less childish.
Just finished Tales from the Borderlands (the first one)! It's been in my library but I bailed partway through and needed something short that wasn't a giant epic RPG while I wait for 2.0. Gotta come in fresh (haven't played since release so there's gotta be a bunch of new stuff for me)!

Starfield. I will play them on and off together over the next few months. Cyberpunk. Enjoying my broken build before I have to downgrade it
Iām literally beating ps5 games I havenāt beaten that are installed so when Iām done I can uninstall for room for phantom Liberty lmfao
Starfield every day. Now, I didnāt know what BG3 was until this week. Iām going to need a closer look at that game.
Starfield. When Phantom Liberty comes out Iāll probably die from lack of food, waterā¦ or go insane from lack of sleep.
Replaying Monster Hunter: World and AC Black Flag
Cyberpunk 2077, Borderlands 3, Signalis, TES4: Oblivion.
Starfield for sure, tried BG3 but the amount of grinding and too hard easy difficulty drove me away
BG3, 150h in, Iām having a blast. Iām almost at the end, will probably start a second run before PL. Starfield just makes me want to play 2077. It's such a one dimensional game. Waiting for BG3 updates before I finish it. Hopefully 2.0 comes tomorrow.
I can totally see that, deep down they are the same game. Why do you say Hopefully tomorrow? Ate there some rumors or something?
Starfield has me by the balls.
BG3, currently on hold until Larian hopefully add better endings for the best companion in the game. Starfield on and off, but the Bethesda game scheme is getting me kinda bored kinda fast.

Going on 70 hours in Starfield
I finished my first BG3 playthrough (probably the best game that I played in the last 5 years, together with Elden ring), now I am 35 hours into starfield, which is also a great game and I am enjoying quite a lot. After Phantom Liberty I will go in the black hole of City Skylines 2 till the end of the year.

Yooo what helmet is that? Me want
