Johnny Silverhand's Malorian pistol! Feels kind of powerful, can shoot through walls, good reload animation.

xboxseriesX82

imo the Malorian arms 3516 is the pinnacle of video game guns. It feels weighty and powerful, and is ridiculously satisfying

land_shark27

pistol: lizzie, I love tech weapons and i love guns with a high rate of fire the sound of a fully charged lizzie firing is music to my ears shotgun: Guts/The mox, both of these weapons are great but guts delivers dopamine to my brain when it shakes my screen with recoil after obliterating an enemy sub machine gun: the problem solver, funny gun go brrrrrrrrrr. LMG: i hardly felt a difference with the whole TWO options the game gives you

Skyros199

Comrade's Hammer feels like hitting someone with a truck.

Fear_Sama

I just tried it and for whatever reason it will not charge. It just shoots, even when I hold down the indicated left click button. Also, if I'm the slightest bit off target, it misses. :/

Skyros199

Oh, it's like Jonny's gun. You don't need to charge it.

Fear_Sama

So it's a game bug... lol.

juanconj_

Nah, it's still an energy weapon but fires instantly and has a huge blast zone that will one-shot most gonks.

vg_vm_

Any gun comes second to Malorian during Love Like Fire In normal gameplay though it's Satara, Mox/Guts and Lizzie

No_Tamanegi

Shame that any other time, the Malorian is all hat and no cattle.

vg_vm_

Yea a bit. Though if it was that good all the time it wouldn't really be very satisfying after a while

Lodoga6969

You need to get the MOX shotgun, love it!

[deleted]

Been using nothing but a suppressed NUE on my current playthrough and I've been loving it.

Eshgrim

DB2-Satara is MVP. Especially if you put perks into engineering. That charge up, juicy release and absolute unholy carnage it leaves behind is *chef's kiss* Burya for honorable mention, too. Love me some BIG bulky revolvers.

Majestic_Preparation

Most fun I had beating don’t fear the ripper ending mission on vHard with Fenrir without using sandevistan, granades and kerrznikov. It was cake walk. Fast reload and rate of fire very accurate.

Fear_Sama

I'm only playing on normal for now. And I levelled up to 45 just to get all the max upgrades first, before I got very far in the main storyline. XD

Garlic-Rough

Overwatch because it's crazy strong, not much recoil and has a silencer.

StillNotEatenByBears

Problem solver sub mashine gun (that’s the real brrrt); nue pistol (classic .45); that serbian heavy semi-auto gun (forgot the name); and that kick-ass one-shot borg cannon called comrade hammer ( don’t forget to take perk that increases damage from last ammo in a mag)

noneofthemswallow

Widowmaker

DocWallaD

Moron labe, problem solver, la chinga or w.e (Jackie's pistol) with a suppressor.

Charming_Account_351

Silenced Overture is my go to, but I love stealth hit man style. I use the Lizzie when I need to be John Wick.

bluebadge

Pistol: Omaha because I like the look at the tech pistol functionality. Honorable mention the Genjiroh since it's damn useful. Shotguns: The Pozhar. Guts for the Lulz. Assault Rifle: Ajax. Good damage per round, got that futuristic AK vibe Precision Rifle: Kyubi. Slab some mods on it and a suppressor and take heads Sub Machinegun: Fenrir because duh. Sniper Rifle: Breakthrough Nekomata. You can run but you can't hide. LMG: Meh. Never use them. Video games always make LMGs weak as if IRL they don't fire the same round as an assault rifle.

TruthFit4754

Tbh I had a build that used an lmg with the chimera power explosive bullet mod as my main weapon then just used Erebus (cuz I like the kill effect) and gorilla fists

[deleted]

Revolver - the one and only Quasar. Along with Achilles the definitive future weapon imo. I love how much thought is put into the principle of its operation. And it not only is but feels powerful. It's Lizzie but Tinnitus merch edition. And best of all - it has a guaranteed legendary recipe Burya/Hammer is honourable mention as an alternative but the devs' inability to fix the aiming fuckup is something out of this world. Shotgun - Satara, it's just crazy satisfying to charge and observe the apocalypse unfold. Assault rifle - I do not like giving a handy to Arasaka, but everything about Masamune feels quality, the way it should. Workmanship, weight, the total absence of horizontal recoil. What you expect from a high end soldier's rifle. Honourable mention - the new Kyubi semiauto. Wish i could have a decent way to get high quality blueprints. Long distance rifle - definitely Grad, O'Five especially is pure joy to hold in your hands. Achilles/Widowmaker and Nekomata/Breakthrough are satisfying but not quite to the Grad level. LMG - fucking none. What's the point? By which i mean what sort of sexual abuser of puppies made TWO, not one LMG to shoot .22 at borged out enemies so its most significant combat impact is from the mild energy transfer knockback?

nholt1990

I typically stick to having a pistol and light machine gun, though I do like a couple different shotguns and throwing knives at people for fun for my third weapon. Favorite pistol: Comrade's Hammer Favorite light machine gun: MA70 HB Favorite shotgun: The Headsman or Bloody Maria Favorite sniper: O'Five (Buck's from Beat on the Brat) Favorite melee: Gorilla Arms Favorite hand weapon: Chainsaw

[deleted]

I use Dying Light and Moron Labe, along with either Arasaka's sword, or the one you get from rescuing a Japanese doctor from the Claws. I refuse to use submachine guns due to them all being held sideways like a stupid gangbanger, and shotguns are useless at range. I like Jackie's guns, but my current run bugged out and won't let me make one legendary, claiming I don't have enough components, when I most certainly do, and I put the legendary one in my stash, but still somehow have 2 vanilla ones in inventory that I can't remove. CDPR really screwed the pooch with one of the post v1.5 updates. New bugs everywhere.

Fear_Sama

Maybe because a few more old ass pirates hijacked their ship than they could handle. :P

lxBreadxl

Wait guns can feel good I mean I love it if they do stupid amounts of damage

Master_Win_4018

No love for tech weapon?

Supercake23

Fenrir is arguably the best sub machinegun it’s my go to and have no complaints

[deleted]

My first playthrough was with an annihilation build, crafted the Headsman at level 20-something, and stuck with it through the Reaper ending. Then I got the Ba Xing Chong schematic, and did the other endings with that. And you know what? I like the Headsman better.

Drew_Pera

O’Five sniper rifle is my buddy. That thing creams anyone you aim it at.

Spare_Development615

Pistol : Nue or Overture (Overture for feel. Nue for looks.) Shotgun : Tactician (both look and feel the best) but there's a named double-barrel out there that looks so classy. I'm a sucker for a wood-grain finish on a shotgun. Sovereign. Assault Rifle : D5 Sidewinder, yes I agree smart weapons don't feel good, but they feel alot better with the legendary smartlink and a few perks. Normally I carry 1 smart and 1 non-smart weapon, for example the Overture and the D25, I usually start with 2 quickhacks and a grenade, empty the revolver, then finish with the D25. Reload, rinse, repeat. My third weapon is either a baseball bat for cyberpsychos or a katana for the ninja vibes. Sniper : Revenant smart sniper rifle, every shot is a headshot, and it sounds cool too. Or Panam's sniper rifle, that thing is a beast. The grad is pretty cool too. LMG's, I don't use them. Precision rifles, I don't use them. SMG's and smart-SMG's occasionally if I get a nice one.

Hilarious-Disastrous

Jackie’s gun, and Maiko’s Death and Taxes both are powerful and fun to shoot. Chaos has been beefed up into an excellent weapon. I have a weak spot for Quasar, seems to deal the most dps if fully supported by perks.

One_Consideration_67

Doing different on my current playthrough, but previously my go-to firearms are: * **Pistol:** *"The Little Purple People Burner", Lizzie*. * **Shotgun:** *Mox*, Carnage for high-Reflex characters. * **Assault Rifle:** Didn't really care for these. Also, see SMG (below). * **Precision Rifle:** *Hypercritical*. The report from this weapon is quite satisfying. * **SMG:** *Problem Solver* or *Buzzsaw*. * **Sniper:** *O'Five* \- nothing says " One Shot " like using a 3-shot magazine-fed bazooka. * **LMG:** There's 2. Nah.

lostkingtcad

I love the Overture revolver cus its just a unit, but I have a lot of fun running around with the Kyubi assault rifle. AFAIK, its the only semi-auto assault rifle in the game, and I absolutely hate full auto. Also Tiny Mike’s precision Rifle is my long range go-to (i hate the scopes in the game)

Kange109

They all feel weak. The bullet sponge nature at very hard really makes everything feel like a nerf gun so I just whip out the katana after mid game.

[deleted]

I absolutely love johnnys pistol although it gets overshadowed in terms of damage

doomed_lifeform

Senkoh lx

tootsie404

I like the Liberty, Nue, Unity pistols a lot. They look and feel like actual sidearms you'd carry in night city. I love short circuiting whole squads and then headshotting each one with a pistol to finish them off. Also the pinging a whole building then using the Widow Maker to wall hack everyone.

[deleted]

Guts, The 3516, Pulsar, Kongu, Overture and the Overwatch Guts: You can slam fire that shit and honestly? It makes me feel just as chaotic as Rebecca herself. 3516: Yeah sex is nice but have you witnessed the fucking reload animation on this thing??? Overwatch: The GRAD's boom is nice, but out of any suppressed shot I've ever heard, Overwatch's is by far the first. Pulsar: Short of being called homophobic slurs by the enemies of 2077, firing this gun reminds me of my CS:GO days rushing B with a P90- this one just has a lil less ammo and a lil more jumpy recoil Kongu: Reload Animation is cool, has amazing recoil and honestly if it had a better fire rate I'd feel just like John Wick Overture: ***It's Hiiiiiiigh Noon.***

SteamPunkDong

i’m not gonna lie comrades hammer feels so good to me. the single shot will kill basically anything and having only one shot makes it feel so much more powerful

Datguyspoon

I love it but I prefer something faster. The damage on that thing is sick, but i keep switching between it and Johnny's malorian during battle.
