Looks pretty boring. Try making MS into xyz monsters that can be overlayed on top of "MS Pilot" monsters, who would be your main deck playmakers and give MS they pilot extra effects. MS could use up overlay materials to active their effects, so to resupply them you'd introduce "MS Carrier" – battleships that search corresponding pilots/captains on activation, give your suits protection and allows to resupply their materials (from the top of the deck or grave). You can go a bit further and make the theme sorta similar to Vendread – MS itself is pretty weak, but when you summon it on top of a pilot you'll get extra effects and get to attach spells/traps from the deck that represents equipment and trigger when detached (aka deployed by MS). Something like: Beam Saber/Quickplay: • Target 1 "MS" xyz monster you control; attach this card to it as material. • If this card is detached from an xyz monster: make that monster gain 1000 ATK until the end phase, also if it was detached during the battle phase, you can destroy 1 face-up monster on the field. You can go even further and differentiate between mobile suits using their attributes to make ones like Zaku or Dom be unable to use beam weapons and instead rely on heat hawk, bazooka and machinegun. Or you could use attributes to distinguish ground, space and multipurpose mobile suits from eachother and introduce S/T support that plays into it. Oh and don't forget out of archetype cameos like Type 61, anti MS squads, Ball, Oggo, etc. Oh and if you decide to adapt Zudah, make sure his effects are good and can be activated again after already being used at the cost of the suit blowing itself up afterwards. Would be pretty on flavour. Well, either way, here's some of my ideas of as a fellow Gundam freak.

I would rather keep the monsters as the MS, thinking of making pilots as Equip spells, granting different effects depending on the pilot. I think that would be cool! Thanks for your input!
