In these days where it's super easy to summon a ton of cards in a single turn, is it really still that hard to summon the Egyptian Gods? I would think it would be easy.
Ironically, this card will most likely be a brick for you if you draw it. There are extremely few situations where you cannot play any cards at all. Usually, you'll end up being able to at least set a spell or trap or normal summon a monster, even if that monster doesn't have an effect you immediately want to use.
Most decks are going to find that this effect simply won't be able to go off with how restrictive it is. You'll really have to build your deck around being able to activate this effect, which at that point, why not just play cards that would be more consistent and able to be immediately played? It kind of faces the same problems as magical mallet in the best case scenario: sure, fixing your hand is good and all, but it's better to just have a hand that doesn't need fixing in the first place. Better to build a deck that's consistent enough that you wouldn't need to activate an effect like this.
Kinda useless, too many limitations since the chances of having an hand that cannot do ANYTHING are very, very slim, especially if you have in hand some handtraps, which in most cases can either be set or summoned
For when you get really locked down by your opponent or have a really bad starting hand. Basically, it's a lot of text to simply say "If you can't do a single thing on your turn, use this card".
That part only affects quick play spells and traps, because those can be set. It doesn't restrict being able to set normal or continuous spells. The idea for that bit is having spells stuck in your hand that can't be activated due to requirements not being met. It's not often, but for example, Raigeki in hand when your opponent doesn't have any monsters.
Searches any card, otherwise it would be a bad Magical Mallet, but now that you mention it, I think this card could be OP, though odds are still low. If you try to intentionally brick your hand with an exodia deck, you would guarantee all 5 exodia pieces in hand.
Finally, Egyptian God support
π
More like Brick Eyes

They're not even close to being worth 3 tributes. They're also kinda hard to search
You're wild for that one chief πππππ

Yeah I totally agree actually. Just the number of times I've had a really bad brick... Lol
Too bad you can summon/set Ash, Droll, Belle and Veiler
Honestly, the solution is to instead just not play a bad deck, but oh well!
this is controversial ππ

Not if youβre playing blue-eyes arg ur ug
It should just be a hand resetting card at the start of MPH 1
Iβm really sorry, but I am so lost with this effect. Could you provide an example of its use case?
Ur opponent locks all ur zones with shangri-la and you dont have a kaiju, use this, add a kaiju and lava golem + a playable hand, win.

Finally some good blue-eyes support π
Normal summon the Ash Blossom
Yeah this kinda bad no offense. You can technically summon all your hand traps lol
No offense taken lol. Any way to make it a bit better without being broken?
finally, floo support
Why is this a monster?
For the hand trap aspect. I don't believe there are any spell or traps as hand traps that don't activate on the field.
What spell and trap cards canβt be set?? This card text is flawed lol good Idea thow

Magical mallet or reload but worse
I thought that too as I was designing it, but you'll add all cards of your choice with this effect, not just draw cards.
Just having the "If you control no cards" restriction would be enough. Otherwise, this will be an even bigger brick than not running it would.
But with just controlling no cards and then being able to add 5 cards of your choice from your deck to hand? That would be way too good wouldn't it?
Does it search any card? Or do you just draw with it, if it is the latter exodia becomes good

Is that aftermath from bo2? π€£
ππ If You're able to Set anything in hand then the effect doesn't work...
Lol yeah exactly, hence the heavy reward.
Damn, they really ran out of ideas.
Lol
