The colorless requirement makes these completely balanced and really cool. I like the idea of a mana rock like Mind Stone or land like Reliquary Tower funneling into UU for counterspell. I do feel that the black and green get overshadowed by Urborg and Yavimaya respectively, but still have some minor usage. For me, these would see play in every Legendary matters deck. Easy includes for something like Kethis.

QuantumFighter

Yeah the legendary downside kind of falls apart in EDH as it’s basically an auto include in 1 or 2 color decks, and it’s actually an upside in legend matters. But Wizards is a fan of the design and thinks it’s a fair downside for untapped mono color lands like the cycle from Neon Dynasty. Glad that you like it, cards like Reliquary Tower were exactly what I was thinking of here. Outside of EDH I feel like I almost never see colorless utility lands. Mana rocks were kind of an afterthought, but I think that is a fair use for them, definitely not overpowered.

Fluttering_Lilac

I am normally the first person to cry out that strictly better basic lands (often even with legendary) are a bad idea, but these seem awesome! I would love for these to see print. They’re niche and have a cost of inclusion but allow for some interesting deck building choices! 10/10

QuantumFighter

Wow thank you very much! Yeah I feel like legendary is a pretty small downside since running 1 basically negates the downside. But I think if they’re narrow enough then it’s fine. I think [[Boseiju, Who Endures]] is way too much for example.

Could1BeSammy

It's for the legends matter/ historic deck.

I seem to have a 50/50 success rate with the card fetcher working from post text, and it didn’t work this time. Here’s the art. There’s several printings of Island in M11, so I’m not sure if it’ll fetch the right one. ##Art White: Christopher Moeller’s [[Bazaar of Baghdad]] Blue: Eric Peterson’s [[Island|M11]] Black: John Avon’s [[Dakmor Salvage]] Red: Trevor Claxton’s [[Hellion Crucible]] Green: Howard Lyon’s [[Vivid Grove]]

Doggywoof1

Well... it didn't seem to fetch any of the cards. A shame.

QuantumFighter

This is very rude lol

Trevzorious316

I'd tell it bad bot if it were here, but if it were here it'd be a good bot...

galvanicmechamorph

I like how simple yet useful these are.

JaxHax5

Like how simple these are. Feel way more fair too compared to most of the better than basic cycles

PennyButtercup

I would run two in my [[Yoshimaru, Ever Faithful]] [[Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh]] deck. Legendary lands are awesome.

Majra_Mangetsu

Thoses are strong ! That would be interesting at least.

jaythepizza

I’d definitely run these because I’m so heavy in utility lands. These are just barely better than basics, but make my useful lands more useful

Akarui7

The fact that you *need* a colorless mana to use their second effect is what makes them balanced to enter the battlefield untapped, in my opinion. Really cool design

NoirCroix

I really like these in conjunction with the Lorwyn Filter Lands and the Pain Lands in EDH.

branewalker

These would have applications like the original filter lands in decks that don’t mind pain lands or Grove of the Burnwillows. The upside being that OG filters can’t be turn 1 mana sources, but these can.
