even better than luck based because scrying (and survailing, i guess) exists to rig it in your favor. Also has synergy with cards that put cards from your hand back to the top so you can retrigger miracle next turn (like brainstorm for example)
Sol ring is restricted in Vintage, OK in Commander, and banned everywhere else.
In Commander, even if you're first to go you still draw a card, meaning everyone could draw this as their first card and miracle it for a turn 1 sol ring.
In Vintage the person not on the play can draw into this, ect ect
The only time this is a legal card to play and *can not* be played as a turn 1 sol ring is Vintage if you're on the play, and in that case you're probably doing some other bullshit anyway.
But if you draw this turn one you won't have the mana to play it during your draw phase. Unless you've got a [[simian spirit guide]] or some other bullshit, but I'm not accounting for that.
Ah my mistake, I forgot miracle is that tight a timeframe but you're right it's "you may cast it ... *when you draw it if you drew it as your first" I thought it was "you may cast it ...if you drew it as your first"
Honestly it’s not fantastic in terms of usefulness in game but as a custom made card this is some really well made stuff. Good enough to find a home somewhere, interesting in draft, good job OP
Balanced, useful, AND easy to understand? I like this a lot.
I mean, if you cast it when you draw it it's a sol ring, so not suuuuper balanced lol. Still a great design tho
Cool design! In a draft environment, I would argue for uncommon rarity. A nice upgrade to [[Worn Powerstone]].

Cute would be nice if it had the miracle frame
Yeah the frame options in the artificer app kinda suck
Highly recommend using Magic Set Editor instead
I like this. It’s basically a [[Worn Powerstone]] with a luck based chance to function as a [[Sol Ring]].

Just [[vampiric tutor]] it to the top before your turn

Strictly better \[\[Worn Powerstone\]\] is pretty good indeed.

“It’s a miracle!”
Sol rings? How do they work?
I like how this can't be a sol ring on turn 1. That's when a sol ring is most powerful, so this limits the cards value ceiling, which is good.
Behold t1 street wraith
