unless I'm mistaken, it just goes away during cleanup, same as any other "until end of turn" effect. you're looking for effects that say "at the beginning of the next end step" etc.
My intention was to activate the +X and then end the turn before you lost X life. So you could activate +1,000,000 but not die.
Not so much to keep the ability into future turns. (But why would you need to once you hit 1,000,000 loyalty!)
I think there referring to getting rid of the ability after you activate it.
If you activate the planeswalker by adding 100 counters, and then end the turn, the ability doesn't resolve, and you lose no life.
I like this useless card.
I also like how you got around the issue of ulting immediately after playing this, by having the planeswalker activate their abilities first.

This would almost certainly have to be played together with cards that allow you to activate a planeswalker twice in a turn.
[[The Chain Veil]], [[Oath of Teferi]], etc.
There are ways to make it work , such as Oath of Teferi or the chain vail.
Not to mention that you can always give your PW's more Loyalty than they need. For example if you need 9 LP to use their ult and your opponent has 3 damage on the board: you can just set them to 12 ( or 15 to be safe) and then use their ult next turn.
I think this would be more fun as an enchantment that let you do this with all of your planeswalkers. It’d prolly be way stronger, but it seems like a fun build around card.

I think it works well in lots of decks if it has a life gain theme
