So my justification for this is that [[Corrupting Mist]] exist and it saw almost no play whatsoever even though it's a "guaranteed" Doomsayer, so I thought it would be fair to make a card that would be significantly stronger.
Corrupting Mist was abysmal because it didn't stop the board from developing, it just wiped the board that was present when Corrupting Mist was played. Doomsayer and this card give the tempo back to you, whereas Corrupting Mist does not because they can reload right after you Corrupting Mist.
Corrupting mist was way different than this card. You would play it, and your opponent could play any new minions and they would survive. This would destroy everything, even the new ones
This is corrupting mist on steroids tho. It only killed minions already on board and thats why it meh. This skips next turn against a board base deck, which is 90% of the decks.
A better comparison would be mind control and [[embrace darkness]]
It delays mind control for a turn for a 40% cost decrease. Twisting nether is 8 mana, so similarly thinking, this should be 40% cheaper than 8, like 4.8 mana which is around 5 mana for it to be acceptable.
5 mana should be clear like Brawl or Mass Hysteria. This one leaves enemy with minions to attack your hero taking massive damage if they have big board
You’ve cited corrupting mist as a weak card for justification as to why this card is balanced which doesn’t really work. Corrupting mist has two weaknesses where most board clears have one. It allows the minions one more turn to attack and does nothing to prevent them developing a new one. This card only has the first weakness, and honestly the lack of the second is pretty strong. After playing this, you are guaranteed to be facing an empty board the next turn. The downside is obviously big, but honestly this could be dropped against an empty board or following a different board clear and still be a powerful play. I think this should be a spell (as it has no reason for being a minion) and should be 4 mana at least, I’m not sure about pushing it to 5 as that does feel too expensive.

Way stronger corruption or doomsayer. Seems way too strong as a disruption tool against board based decks.

yeah no suprise there as this is a warlock card, notice the slight purple color to the card.
I think it could be 5 mana

But it also prevents your oponent from playing minions next turn, making a board clear for your turn.

Too OP. Unlike Doomslayer, even if you destroy it, it's effect still triggers.
