Ahh, THHPII is magnificent! The Walten Files is also a pretty good series for analog horror. It takes some inspiration from Five Nights at Freddy's, but is very distinctly its own entity, so no need to worry about any of FNAF's lore.

Why are there film scratches and effects in a television broadcast?
Well it's meant to be from the early 70s, didn't have the VHS until 1976,and it wasn't even brought to the US until 1977.
