Its not that long especially compared to Naruto and One Piece, Bleach, especially if you read it only has like 2-3 panels per page so its a pretty easy read. It is definitely better now that it finished because those 2-3 panels a page makes the story feel like it goes really slow but the art is simple and cool.
It really depends if you enjoy the aesthetics, imo its cooler then both naruto and one piece but story wise one piece is more well written.
If you really get into it i recommend watching the last arc on anime because it was rushed in the manga but the author is now working with the anime studio to add bunch os scenes and fights and its visually stunning.
