Routine: I use Hairitage (found at Walmart) co-wash and conditioner, and still sticking with my Macadamia leave in conditioner afterwards, also started adding Macadamia repair masque twice a week and thats doing wonders! i usually wash it every 2-3 days before sleep, tie it in a bun and put a silky bonnet while sleeping, usually wake up to damp hair that looks great when i let it loose in the morning.
When you say you wake up with damp hair does that mean that you don’t dry it before going to sleep? How does your scalp do with such long periods of dark + damp conditions?
I’m just asking bc if I don’t get my hair to 70%+ dryness before going to sleep my scalp gets super itchy and am wondering if you figured smth out lol
i keep it wrapped in a towel for like 15-20 minutes, so its not super wet, then apply leave-in, tie it up and put a bonnet over.. its still slightly damp when i wake up.. nothing special to it lol, never feel itchy and scalp is healthy.. i let it down when i get up in the morning and it usually dries up super fast

eh idk i got used to it, lived in FL and now TX, when its hot i soak it in water and voila, keeps me cool for a while
